Sunday 12.31 Ashley/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Happy New Year's Eve my little Hawkers! Matthew and Maya set up wonderfully. The new coffee urns certainly came in handy, I've never seen so much hot coffee sold in. my. life. Early mids, once again, are making these brunch pushes a dream. After the big shows, Ian batched some kegs and little things to get us going for tomorrow. -AB Apparently, some of the repertory screenings in the pre-show offer a discount ($10.00 off) the Nitehawk Cookbook. Could we mention this in the weekly email so Lobby Bartenders are aware? We're simply ringing it in as "Staff Book" under merch. -AB Pretty mellow night at the bar, with most guests sticking around for just one round before or after their movies.  We held off on last call until all theaters had completed credits, so we had a couple stragglers that were able to get one last round in before we brought the front gates down at nine. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Matthew and Maya were able to get out of her...

Saturday 12.30 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication:  Busy, busy, busy first round, but everyone was great about communicating with and supporting the busier theaters.  Stayed busy throughout the day, but the bigger theaters were a bit more mellow in the second round which gave us a great chance to reset both bars. JH Another busy evening in the building. Natasha and Jenna were able to both get out around 6 after a full restock in between the rushes. Had a lot of traffic in trees with walkin guests. Ian was able to take care of their needs while Darius and Jeshua were able to handle service bar. Lydia handle the lobby with little assistance all night even though she wasn't feeling 100%. -DL BAR Staff Observations:  Tevon and Natasha did a great job setting up both bars, and Jenna arrived shortly after doors opened and went right to Trees.  Jenna and Natasha were great about keeping up with bar guests and a very busy service pass.  Tevon was an absolute champ downstairs.  Having a Lead B...

Friday 12.29 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication:  A repeat of the last couple days, with a very busy opening round on all three floors.  This was followed by a similarly busy dinner round with all theaters, save for Th1, basically selling out.  Service was relatively smooth throughout, with everyone being diligent about assignments and support. JH After the initial busy start of the day it began to mellow out gradually to the later rounds. Had some sold out shows in the smaller theaters but nothing overwhelming. Should expect the same tomorrow. -DL BAR Staff Observations:  After pushing through the busy dinner rush Miguel and Maya were able to get off around 7 with Darius leaving not long after once Natasha finished batching. Gabrielle handled lobby without a hitch even without a good amount of walkins. -DL FOH Staff Observations: A good amount of servers have been having trouble with putting some of the drinks in since we removed certain button (Mule, Dark n Stormy, etc.). We've been able t...

Thursday 12.28 Dana/Nick

Manager Communication: Busy first round! Ian had a good amount of guests in Trees soon as the doors opened, so I supported him on service bar until Ashley arrived around 3:15. Matthew was great in Lobby with directing people to their theater without making it seem rushed. Expecting another busy start to tomorrow. -DL Customer Comments: Had a guest come in before the gates were raised. Seems she walked through the kitchen and didn't understand we were still close. She was able to sit in the lobby since we opened up in a couple of minutes.  -DL BAR Staff Observations: Big shoutout to Ashley for pushing through while under the weather today. She came in masked up and ready to go. Miguel will open for her tomorrow. Already updated in schedulefly.  FOH Staff Observations: Servers handled the first round like pros today. Felt like Christian and Isobel were teleporting as fast as they were running trays and bringing glassware to the bar. Gave them both tokens for such strong suppo...

Wednesday 12.27 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication:  Another busy open for Th1/2, but service went really smoothly, even with a sizable crowd outside for the 2:45 Migration in Th1.  Pushing bar mid shifts up has been really helpful, so we never ran behind with bar guests or theater service.  Smaller theaters led the way in sales for the dinner round, as Th1stayed below 60 tickets. JH Matthew helped us get ahead of some batching after a busy dinner round. Jenna absolutely slayed at the pass tonight as well as assisting Lydia with a hefty pre-close. Gabrielle cleaned the bubblers and stayed a little longer to help reset Trees with glassware even though she opened Lobby, and we just love to acknowledge that teamwork. Jeshua handled Lobby solo like a peach, and was re-routed at 10:15PM. -AB Regarding the women's restroom in Trees, Vlad really went in to alleviate that godless odor. He emptied all the individual stall sanitary bins, mopped, sprayed air freshener, etc. The odor had completely dissipated. N...

12/26 Tuesday Nick/Jenn

Manager Communication: Really busy again today all the way through the dinner rush. Service went well. -ND I pushed up the times of all of trees mids for the whole week. Most of the business is on the early side, so we will need people in a little earlier than we planned for. -ND    The trees dri-deck under the service well beer taps is always very sticky to start the day. And so is all of the glassware stacked there. I think we need to add a new closing responsibility; leave that completely empty at the end of the night and wipe it down, so we can restart tomorrow. Otherwise the rims of all the glassware on that deck have a sweet soda residue on them. We will email it out in the bar notes this week, but let's remind the closers at the end of the night whenever we are closing.  -ND  All floors were very busy for the dinner round, but with the exception of some service hiccups in Th2, everything went smoothly.  Trees crowd hung around for the majority of the even...

12/25/23 Monday (Christmas Day) Nick/Dana

Manager Communication: Merry Christmas Everyone! We were busy right out of the gate, and stayed that way through the dinner round. We had 5 bartenders for the day, which was enough, but barely. Not much time to prep or batch today so we will have to get caught up tomorrow. Service went well. -ND Music wasn't working in the building before open in Trees, or in the rest of the building. Will and I were able to get it working. Everything was set up OK, but we reset the mixer and things started working again. Must have had something to do with the surge from yesterday. -ND There was an altercation upstairs by the restroom on the 3rd floor. between two families from The Color Purple. There are more details in the MOD blog as I was not on the scene for all of the interaction.  Extremely busy evening throughout the building tonight. Darius and Jeshua supported each other through all the rushes and Darius was able to get out not long after his schedule end time. Natasha needed some support...

Sunday 12.24 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication:  First round was pretty busy, and then mellow round definitely was more mellow.  Plenty of families and groups coming by this morning, with some folks hanging out at Trees after their movies let out. JH I comp'd a meal for a group earlier after the food arrived cold. They're movie was about to start so they didn't want to wait in Trees again after waiting for quite some time before the food came upstairs. I also spoke to Jeshua about making sure people ordering food in Trees have ample time until the beginning of their movie. Music in the building cut out around 6:45 after projections called down to report they had a small power surge. It didn't affect any of the movies playing but the music for Trees and lobby were both out for a momentarily. -DL Customer Comments:  I don't think I have ever seen a larger initial holiday crowd that was more organized and ready to head straight into their theater than the people we had at open today.  It was a...

Saturday 11.23 Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication:  Everyone came in ready to crush it this morning. Tevon & Miguel worked some sold out pushes in Trees and Maya handled all the Wonka Walk-ins and helped guests with TH4 drama. TH4 was down for its first two rounds, but Alec got it back in action. Once Ian got in we knocked out batching for this crazy holiday weekend, including Bloody Mary concentrates.  All of the knives that got swiped out this week for bar came back extremely dull. Could we purchase better knives and sharpen ourselves weekly? -AB Team was amazing today. Ian Gabrielle and Darius worked great together to support where needed while Matthew took care of lobby bar through the evening. That odor coming from the women's restroom is not going away. We were told it was from painting but can we see if there's something else we can do to get rid of it? -DL  Prep List: Ian knocked out a lot of batching. Should only have to batch another Rosemary Pom Yuzu Soda syrup to get ahead for the we...

Friday 12.22 Jenn/Dana/Ariel

Manager Communication:  Busy first round of service. Wonka in Th.2 had a strong push for drinks in the beginning and throughout the screening. Sugar and Violence is really moving so bartenders need to really be on-top of getting it back in the lowboy right away so it can be cold enough for to serve. -DL  Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was great tonight. No issues at all from anyone. Super smooth. -AB2 FOH Staff Observations: Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events: Anthony Roman- Birthday Party in Trees Mezz got off to a good start. Ian is taking point for guest while Ashley handle service bar and Matthew floated in between both to support. -DL The event was real smooth. Was only 20 peeps so was not much to worry about. -AB2 Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: Prep List: Tevon juiced Lime, Lemon and Orange juice in preparation for the weekend. -DL Tevon also completed the batch list to get us ready for the weekend. Firewa...

Thursday 12.21 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication: Great job from the staff this evening. Gabriel swung upstairs to support Trees along with Ian and Natasha. Ian stayed until the last rush passed and was able to get out about 9:45pm. Jeshua was able to hold down lobby by himself through all the rushes. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua was ready to swing up to Trees to support after closing lobby. -DL FOH Staff Observations: Vlad cleaned the handle for the sinks in the men bathrooms located in Trees. There was some gunk built up at the part where you lift the handle up for the water. -DL 86ed / counts on items: Other Half 86'd  Prep List: Batched a few syrups to preparation for tomorrow -DL   Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Baldor and US Foods arriving tomorrow. JH Maintenance: Angelo reinforced the wall behind the sink at the dishpit, so the spray nozzle is back in action. JH

Wednesday 12.20 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: Matthew and Gabrielle were great opening up each bar. Gabrielle was a bit confused when she found a container labeled "Chamomile Syrup" and was unsure if it was already diluted as there were no Toddy Mix in the lowboy from last night. Bartenders should know which is which however we may need to double check on them during their first opening/closing with the Toddy to make sure they are not mixing up the two. Speaking of the Toddy...the Virgin Toddy is not on the menus for Trees or the Theaters. Not sure if this was intentional but really think we could use it on each to communicate it better to guests looking for NA options. DL All cocktails kegs are now labeled in the walkin.- Bartenders will still need to date the kegs when batching and should double check to make sure the label from the PTouch is not missing. DL Only busy theater pushes were from 6:30-8:00PM. Both Darius and Matthew cleaned the bubblers. Matthew held down service at the pass and Dari...

Tuesday 12.19 Dana/Nick/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Between theaters and Trivia, we had a decently busy night for a Tuesday.  First and last rounds were a little more mellow, with Poor Things continuing to sell really well and  Cobra and The Boy and the Heron leading sales for the late round. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Both bars were well into service by the time I arrived, and we slid into a busy dinner service and Trivia at Trees in short order.  Ian held down lobby solo for most of the night after Jeshua swung up to Trees to help with the first half of Trivia.  Ashley stuck around to get Trees restocked as the last round was kicking off, and got out of here shortly after.  Maya and Tevon wrapped up service, closing Trees without issue. JH Special Events?  Last Trivia of the year was great!  Pretty decent crowd, and we tried out encouraging teams seated at tables to only order through Maya, which led to no hiccups in running food all night.  Maya has a really...

Monday 12.18 Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication: Nothing outside of what Jenn said about Projection or whoever checking in with us (Bar Management) instead of just telling bartenders stuff. Was not the end of the world but could have easily been avoided if they would have told me instead. -AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Not a crazy night. was a solid shift. Jenna, Lydia, Tevon, and Darius all held it down. -AB2 Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Just a reminder for other departments when trying to coordinate with bar during service, please speak with a bar manager and do not rely on a bartender to relay the message.  We had a lot of back and forth chatter on the walkie about the Spotify account needing to be used for the special event in Th6, which left Trees without music for a couple of minutes before it was sorted out.  It sounds like Will passed on the message to Darius, but the message was not passed on to myself or Ariel. JH 86ed / counts on items: We are out of backup of Sage. Darius split the rest...

Sunday 12.17 Ariel/Jenn

Manager Communication: Solid busy day. Really can't say enough good things about Matthew, Miguel, and Kelsey today. They really made this shift way easier for me than it could have been. -AB2 Busy, busy Sunday.  We sold more tickets than yesterday and had plenty of theaters sell out, ore get close to it, during the third round. Lots of new menu items leaving both the bar and kitchen to plenty of rave reviews among guests. JH Customer Comments: I had a guest at Trees ask if she could talk to me, shortly before heading into Th3 for the 6:35 Renaissance screening.  She was with another woman and said that the service she received from the bartender (Jeshua) was subpar.  I had her walk me through their interactions, apologized on behalf of the bar for the less than stellar experience, and offered to buy them a round in their movie.  They were very happy with this, and I gave Charlotte a head up to make sure they had a better time in the theater.  When I spoke to the...

Saturday 12.16 Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication: Elf was ready to party right at doors, I'd expect a similar big drink push tomorrow AM. Lots of children, lemonades, and hot coffee. Natasha was killing it on her own, and Miguel swung up for the 12:35PM Wonka push once Matthew came in for Lobby. Once Ian arrived, we knocked out lots of batching and syrups together. Matthew handled lots of walk-ins with sold out theaters in Lobby today, we love to see it. -AB Just a splash of bad news: alcohol was served accidentally in a N/A Coke. Julianna was alerted by the gentleman in Wonka, and reported the situation to Gil. Thankfully he understood this was an accident and was not upset. My understanding of the incident is that multiple hands were preparing drinks at the pass (Miguel supporting Natasha) and vodka that was prepped into a pint for Bloody Mary ended up getting topped with Coke instead. There really is no certainty regarding who made the switch-up, and I had to make the call to issue both written warnings. ...

Friday 12.15 Ariel/Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication:   WOW WHAT A DAY! Draft lines took a little longer than usual, so all draft drinks were 86 for 1/2 the first round. Ian was excellent at directing guests accordingly. Everything is groovy and set for service tonight. Dana fixed the Espresso Martini batch earlier. Tevon juiced oranges for Fistful of Dollars. Just going to be catching up on some batching back-up kegs and such for the weekend. Trees menus are all stuffed and look great. As far as the sage sprig for the Winter G+T, It isn't keeping as well as other herbs would behind the bar. I'm not opposed to swapping that garnish out for a lemon wheel. Let me know how it's going over at Williamsburg and we can go from there? -AB I printed all the updated menu thangs. All Binders (Lobby, Trees, Prep) are updated. I laminated the two guides that hang at Trees on the wall next to the Th. 4 & 6 pass. I also changed the Ebbs Winter Ale to the Interboro Helles Lager on each Beer Board. -AB2 BAR Staff Obs...

Thursday 12.14 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication: Got all the batching and preparations completed for tomorrow's menu change. -DL  BAR Staff Observations: Tashi was good filling in over here tonight. Needed a bit of a refresher on the layout over here but overall they were great. FOH Staff Observations: Rebecca was great. They really helped lead some of the newer servers at Trees. Really appreciated them taking lead in the moments needed. -DL Special Events? 14th St Holiday went great. No issues and they wrapped up on the earlier side after packing food to go and closing out. -DL Pay Outs: 5200-Food-$6.49 5200- Food-Nerds/Chef Stewart

Wednesday 12.13 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: Calm day to start. Not much going on until the later rounds. Matthew cleaned the lowboys in Trees during the down time after doing the stainless up the glassware. Jeshua did the bubblers in lobby early since it was slow to start. Union didn't deliver the Amer Di Picon needed today. It's the only ingredient missing for the Poor Things Special.-DL Update: I found a solo Amer Di Picon bottle so we will have enough for the first few Sugar & Violence Martini batches until the delivery comes in.  Jeshua juiced lemons, limes, AND oranges. Darius did some light batching, so we are all set for tomorrow. All product for batching at tomorrow's meeting are in bus bins, refrigerated product next to the ginger beer and the liquor bus bin is in the liquor room. All of the Natalie's tangerine and blood orange juice are in the Bloody Mary lowboy, to avoid confusion when bartenders restock.  BAR Staff Observations: Let us talk about Gabrielle slaying in Trees ...

Tuesday 12/12 Nick/Ariel

Manager Communication: Easy shift. Everyone handled their business. Service was extremely smooth. -AB2 86ed / counts on items:  Tinedo will be back in stock from Skurnik Friday and will be shipping right away. Hopefully we get it before the weekend, but it might not come until Monday -ND Prep List :  We will need pear sage maple syrup made when the pear puree comes in. Otherwise i think we have everything prepped for the new menu. -ND I batched the Date Syrup, Cranberry-Ginger-Vanilla Syrup, and the Chamomile Syrup with Ians help -AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:   backup glassware and store n pours were ordered today from webstaraunt -AB2

Monday 12.11 Dana/Ariel

Manager Communication: Quiet start to the day throughout the building. Had enough time to get ahead on the syrups needed for the menu change. Sage was delivered however I couldn't make the Pear Sage Maple Syrup without the pear puree. -DL Pretty smooth night. Was able to get Lydia and Jenna out pretty early. -AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was great tonight and the shift went by very smooth. -AB2 Special Events? There was an HBO event in Th. 7 that then moved into Trees. The lobby's rush for this was not crazy. Afterwards in Trees, they were easy and ended up leaving around 11:00pm -AB2  86ed / counts on items: Tinedo and St. Agrestis Spritz still 86'd -DL Prep List: Prepared for the new menu: Mint Syrup Pomegranate Soda Syrup -DL I batched -Negroni -Old Fashioned Tevon batched -Fire Walk With Me -AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: A new C-Fold dispenser was ordered from Webstaurant. Should be delivered by the end of the week. -DL Filmbot Issues: Printed out and posted...

Sunday 12.10 Ariel/Ashley

Manager Communication: I cut Miguel today because numbers weren't too crazy and I knew he also wanted the day off. -AB2 Pretty steady pushes from 5-9:30PM. All bartenders tonight had a great flow of when to step off and stock, etc. If we haven't already, could we look into ordering more of the one quart Store N Pours? -AB BAR Staff Observations: Kelsey was great in Lobby. Handled it down there all by her lonesome. Tevon was gangsta in Trees. had no issues at all and went through the rushes easily. -AB2 Bartenders working Lobby this week might need a refresher on MubiGo. Had a lot of MubiGo walk-ins for Maestro and there was a bit of confusion. -AB FOH Staff Observations: I thought we had a dope staff today. Atlas, Christian, LaShae, Julianna, Breanna, Sabrina, Jeremy, Raekwon, Michael and the crew all brought the best vibes and just slaughtered their theaters. Everything went real smooth and it was a pleasure working with all of them. -AB2 Sick Leave/ Call outs: I cut Miguel fr...

Saturday 12.09 Ariel/Dana

Manager Communication: Busy but calm night at both bars. Jeshua helped upstairs for the beginning of the dinner round. Ian, Gabrielle and Ashley did amazing in trees for the rushes.  -DL BAR Staff Observations: Smooth day thus far. Miguel was great downstairs by himself. Wasn't very busy. Natasha was solid by herself through the first round with the Holiday market. Jeshua came in and helped in Trees. Ian got here and is currently batching. -AB2 Was able to let Ian go a bit early. Matthew was able to handle downstairs alone after Jeshua left. -DL FOH Staff Observations: Maria took a great lead with bringing the glassware down to Trees so that we never had to worry. -DL Special Events? Holiday Market was chill. Had a decent little show out. -AB2 86ed / counts on items: 86'd - St. Agrestis Spritz - Tinedo -AB2 Guava Island and Autumn G&T both on a count. -DL Prep List: I had Ian batch  -Paloma -Fistful of Dollars -Orgeat Syrup -In the Mood for Love  -Hibiscus Syrup -Toas...

Friday 12.08 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication: No sold out theaters. Had a lot of action in the smaller theaters but nothing the staff couldn't handle. Matthew got us ahead on some batching for tomorrow and Tevon was able to be cut a couple hours before his time. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Bar staff did great today. Natasha held down service bar for majority of her shift since she's still not feeling 100%. Matthew took care of bar guests with Ian as support between the two of them. Gabrielle was great in the lobby like usual. -DL 86ed / counts on items: Tinedo by the glass is on a count and 86'd by the bottle. St.Agrestis Spritz is 86'd.  Autumn G&T and Live Deliciously kegs are low. May want to put on a count tomorrow. -DL Prep List: Will need to batch a Fistful of $ (OJ is in the walkin for it). -DL Pay Outs: 8600-Repairs-$54-Juan Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Walnut Bitters came in from Amazon. -DL

Thursday 12.07 Dana/Ariel

Manager Communication: STB was real busy today. We had a bunch of their specialty cocktails ordered today compared to usual. Not sure if we should maybe plan on batching more. Ashley said "I made more STB cocktails today than sodas!" -AB2 Customer Comments: A guest said the side pockets on the pool table are too narrow and disrupts his games. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was great today. Was able to get Matthew out early cause it was not too busy. Jeshua was great by himself in lobby. Ian was great and was able to cut him around 9:30. Ashley then took over the show and CRUSHED it by herself during a busy STB rush. -AB2 86ed / counts on items: St. Agrestis Spritz ran to 0 on the count. I put it at 1 because I think we could at least get one out of it. keep an eye on that. -AB2 Prep List: Old fashioned and Bloody Mary Concentrate were both made today. Matthew juiced limes, lemons and oranges for both bars. -DL Pay Outs: 7550- DJ $150.00 9780 - Travel $53.60 MISC Expe...

Wednesday 12.6 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: Not much going on today with a quiet round to start the day. Maya was able to do rollups ontop of her cleaning tasks and tickets. Gabrielle held lobby down without needing any assistance. Narragansett is up and running again. Jenn's trick of disconnecting the line and then connecting it back quickly once the lob begins to move worked.  -DL Post-Family Meal: Darius batched what we could and both openers were cut due to low theater numbers. Matthew had a nice crowd at the bar in the evening, even still. -AB BAR Staff Observations: Maya used idle time to deep-clean Trees, and it shows! Could we remind openers to check their Trees cocktail cheaters as well? I am often not informed we are out until it is needed to sell. -AB Sick Leave/ Call outs: Jeshua is out sick. Darius was able to cover his shift. -DL 86ed / counts on items: Last Tinedo Tempranillo bottles behind Trees. -AB Prep List: Could not make Old Fashioned Keg. Will make when more Rittenhouse comes i...

Tuesday 12.05 Nick/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Quiet night in the theaters, especially the last round. JH   BAR Staff Observations:  Jeshua was not feeling well, so got out of here around eight, shortly after Trivia started.  Darius held down lobby solo without issue.  Lydia, Maya, and Tevon did great with the Trivia crowd, and Lydia was able to get out of here once the floor was reset.  Maya helped Tevon preclose, and then got out of here shortly before last call, as the Trees crowd had dwindled to only two non-staff guests, and Tevon closed Trees no problem. JH Sick Leave/ Call outs:  Dana called out sick today.  Added to Sick Calendar . JH Special Events?  Trivia went well tonight, a bit more crowded than last week.  Maya did mention two things that she thinks will help service run more smoothly at future Trivias.   First, once Maya (or whichever bartender is taking the floor) gets on the floor at seven, tables should only be allowed to order tabl...

Monday 12.4 Ariel

Manager Communication: -Pretty chill not too cold day out. Didn't have too many guests in theaters. Th. 1 in the dinner round was our big pop. Had a solid crowd before the movie and had a good lil ticket rush. After the movie we had a nice pop in Trees. I had cut Lydia before Th. 1 let out and also cut Jenna. Maya was great downstairs and Darius and I just kept it gangsta in Trees. At least half of Th. 1 came in and had a few rounds. Everyone had a good time and ordered a couple rounds.  - The Gansett keg is still a real pain in the ass. I tried everything I could to get the bobbin lifted but nothing worked. Had help from Darius, Jenna, and Lydia. I called Nick (shoutout Nicky D) and that method did not work out for me. I Facetimed Ashley TWICE (Shoutout the original AB and her dog! (I feel terrible that I don't know your dogs name Ashley. Please don't hurt me)). That method also did not work for me. I was constantly revisiting the keg ALL NIGHT but to no avail. - At the en...

Sunday 12.03 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication:  Cold, rainy day, which definitely brought in a lot of day-of ticket sales (the 4:30pm Th2 Napoleon tripled in ticket sales between doors opening and the theater opening).  The smaller theaters consistently filled up throughout the day, and BeyoncĂ© easily led sales for the larger theaters. JH Very busy Sunday evening, made to look easy by wonderful bartenders. Matthew and Miguel got both bars completely reset before clocking out. Darius handled the service pass with multiple sold out theaters, communicating with Jeshua who was supporting. Tevon handled cocktails solo for a very full Trees crowd. Kelsey held down Lobby which had plenty of walk-ins. Tevon did have to step off to batch more Queen B's Sting, using the last of the Ancho Reyes (substitution for Giffard Piment D'Espelette). We then ran out of Paloma, so I made the call to get a bottle of Ancho Reyes from Windsor Wines. Payout in Trees financial. AB Customer Comments: A guest came out of TH4'...

Saturday 12/2 Nick/Dana

Manager Communication: There was a guest from a Theater that came into Trees tonight causing an issue. After Gabriel served him one drink he placed him head on a table near the projector before going back to his movie. He came back for a straw which Ian gave him but he felt that Ian threw the straw at him and said something to Ian about it. Ian expressed that that wasn't the case and the man went back to his movie. As Gabriel was telling me about the incident the man came back into Trees to ask Ian what time we close and then changed his words (while slurring) to ask him what time he gets off. He went walked out of Trees before I could get around and before Dwight could get upstairs to Trees but he knew exactly who I was talking about and he went to check the theater he was in but only his date was at the seats. Not long after Dwight got there, the man's date left on her own. Ian was a bit shaken up by the incident but felt bad and wanted to apologize for the misunderstanding ...

Friday 12.01 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication: Trees had waves of guest and a lot of walk in guests. Ashley was able to batch and then clock out not too long after the Renaissance rush. Gabriel handled lobby like a pro with no assistance needed for the last round of the night on the first floor. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Tevon was great with helping out wherever needed whether it was lobby, batching or glassware. -DL FOH Staff Observation: Spoke to Vlad and he asked that we double bag the recycling in Bar Prep and Trees. Had a bag full of bottles that almost popped open in Trees.  -DL Prep List: Ashley knocked out a batch of Bloody and Fruity Pebbles Aperol in preparation for Spoons.  Made another batch of the Queen B's but we may need to make more tomorrow after Renaissance. We have enough Five Spice Syrup to make half of a keg of the Autumn G&T. Should we make more 5 spice syrup for full keg or just use what we have until menu change? -DL Pay Outs: 7076-FOH-$14.97-handsoap Ordering/Receiv...
