Saturday 12.16 Ashley/Dana



Manager Communication:
Elf was ready to party right at doors, I'd expect a similar big drink push tomorrow AM. Lots of children, lemonades, and hot coffee. Natasha was killing it on her own, and Miguel swung up for the 12:35PM Wonka push once Matthew came in for Lobby. Once Ian arrived, we knocked out lots of batching and syrups together. Matthew handled lots of walk-ins with sold out theaters in Lobby today, we love to see it. -AB

Just a splash of bad news: alcohol was served accidentally in a N/A Coke. Julianna was alerted by the gentleman in Wonka, and reported the situation to Gil. Thankfully he understood this was an accident and was not upset. My understanding of the incident is that multiple hands were preparing drinks at the pass (Miguel supporting Natasha) and vodka that was prepped into a pint for Bloody Mary ended up getting topped with Coke instead. There really is no certainty regarding who made the switch-up, and I had to make the call to issue both written warnings. -AB

Had a busy night at both bars but it was nothing the team couldn't handle. Matthew supported Lydia in the lobby until 8 and Lydia was able to handle it until closing. Ian, Darius and Jeshua were great in Trees. Jeshua helped the guest in Trees while Ian and Darius supported each other on service bar. The NA Spritzer was flying today and yesterday. Should keep an eye on it tomorrow morning in case we need to pick up pomegranate juice to make more tomorrow or Wednesday. -DL
 

BAR Staff Observations:
The late rounds were consistent and real busy. Ian, Jeshua and Darius handled all the rushes great even with multiple theaters opening up around the same time upstairs. Lydia and Matthew pushed through the early rushes in lobby. Lydia didn't need any help after. -DL

FOH Staff Observations:
Isobel was great at bridging the theaters and trees together. They were great at bringing trays and glassware down. Allison looked a lot more comfortable running some large strays up and downstairs. -DL

Prep List:
Made another keg of the NA Spritzer. -DL

Winter G&T and Firewalk will need to be made tomorrow at some point.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
Baldor came this morning, biggest delivery ever, and EVERYTHING was there. Could you believe it? 6 passionfruit purées and 12 pear purées are in the kitchen freezer. -AB

Maintenance: 
The new pull-down faucet in Trees is still having some issues. The handle fell off today but I found the bolts and re-attached/tightened. It is still leaking at the top behind the coils, Nathaniel has tightened that a few times already. Added to Maintenance blog. -AB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
