12/25/23 Monday (Christmas Day) Nick/Dana



Manager Communication:
Merry Christmas Everyone! We were busy right out of the gate, and stayed that way through the dinner round. We had 5 bartenders for the day, which was enough, but barely. Not much time to prep or batch today so we will have to get caught up tomorrow. Service went well. -ND

Music wasn't working in the building before open in Trees, or in the rest of the building. Will and I were able to get it working. Everything was set up OK, but we reset the mixer and things started working again. Must have had something to do with the surge from yesterday. -ND

There was an altercation upstairs by the restroom on the 3rd floor. between two families from The Color Purple. There are more details in the MOD blog as I was not on the scene for all of the interaction. 
Extremely busy evening throughout the building tonight. Darius and Jeshua supported each other through all the rushes and Darius was able to get out not long after his schedule end time. Natasha needed some support with Filmbot issues but handled all the theaters fine.-DL 

The frozens were not done today with everything going on. Sorry :{ 

Customer Comments: 
Customers seemed extra needy all day. I don't know what it is about Christmas but it seems to really bring out a tough crowd. Nothing particular stands out, and we were able to accommodate everyone. -ND

BAR Staff Observations: 
Lydia needed a lot of support getting her bar set for a busy service, but she handled the rushes well. She opened Trees and was very busy all day. I gave her a token. -ND

Darius was great today and the last few days jumping in and out wherever needed and taking the initiative to make sure his peers were good during some busy moments. -DL  

FOH Staff Observations:
Darielle mentioned concerns about serving guest too many drinks. It's easy for them to monitor how many drinks they receive during the screening but not how many they may have consumed at Trees or Lobby. Is there a way possible to flag this more clearly.  -DL

Prep List:
No batching done today due to a busy night. Will need to batch Lemonade, Hakuna Matata and a backup keg of the NA Spritzer. -DL

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
