Manager Communication: 
Happy New Year's Eve my little Hawkers! Matthew and Maya set up wonderfully. The new coffee urns certainly came in handy, I've never seen so much hot coffee sold in. my. life. Early mids, once again, are making these brunch pushes a dream. After the big shows, Ian batched some kegs and little things to get us going for tomorrow. -AB

Apparently, some of the repertory screenings in the pre-show offer a discount ($10.00 off) the Nitehawk Cookbook. Could we mention this in the weekly email so Lobby Bartenders are aware? We're simply ringing it in as "Staff Book" under merch. -AB

Pretty mellow night at the bar, with most guests sticking around for just one round before or after their movies.  We held off on last call until all theaters had completed credits, so we had a couple stragglers that were able to get one last round in before we brought the front gates down at nine. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 
Matthew and Maya were able to get out of here shortly after I arrived, and Ian stuck around to get Gabrielle through some batching, restocks, and the last service push.  Both Gabrielle and Lydia closed each bar without issue.  Happy New Year! JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
All Wage Acknowledgment forms for bar team are signed and in a manila folder in my mailbox in the office. JH

Prep List: 
Not enough Rittenhouse to batch a keg, so down one going into this week. -AB

Bloody Mary should be made in the morning before doors, depending on how busy and hungover the opening round crowd is. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
Placed a Baldor order that will be delivered Tuesday.  Placed a US Foods order that will be delivered Wednesday.  This order will have a lot of Saratogas and soda boxes, as the combination of this holiday weekend and skipped delivery days has definitely put our soda stocking abilities to work. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
