Manager Communication: 

First round was pretty busy, and then mellow round definitely was more mellow.  Plenty of families and groups coming by this morning, with some folks hanging out at Trees after their movies let out. JH

I comp'd a meal for a group earlier after the food arrived cold. They're movie was about to start so they didn't want to wait in Trees again after waiting for quite some time before the food came upstairs. I also spoke to Jeshua about making sure people ordering food in Trees have ample time until the beginning of their movie. Music in the building cut out around 6:45 after projections called down to report they had a small power surge. It didn't affect any of the movies playing but the music for Trees and lobby were both out for a momentarily. -DL

Customer Comments: 

I don't think I have ever seen a larger initial holiday crowd that was more organized and ready to head straight into their theater than the people we had at open today.  It was a very nice holiday crowd throughout the day. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 

Both Miguel and Natasha did a fantastic job opening and stocking both bars this morning, and coasted through the busy first round easily.  Natasha was on top of Th1's opening service push, and Kelsey was able to offer support once she came in at eleven.  Also, shout out to Miguel who is consistently such a great, friendly presence in lobby with first-time guests, it really sets the tenor for so many.

Kelsey floated between floors to help with service pushes as needed, and Darius came up to Trees to cover Natasha while she got some light batching out of the way ahead of evening service. JH

Miguel was able to cut out early not long after family meal. Kelsey stayed until about 5 to help restock and then Jeshua was able to handle Trees solo for the rest of the night. Darius was a star in lobby as usual-DL

FOH Staff Observations: 

Rebecca and Raekwon were super helpful this morning at Trees, delegating and supporting when appropriate. Erech and the runners really did a great job navigating the busy first round, too. JH

Special Events?

Family meal was absolutely righteous.  Thank you! JH

Prep List: 

The lemon and lime juice we have behind the bars is from 12.22.  Natasha cleaned out the cheaters and refilled them today, and the juice should be good for service tomorrow.  We have a fair amount, so would rather not needlessly toss it.  Just a reminder for openers to give it a check in the morning, before having bartenders juice more. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 

I placed an order for another bag of peppermint bits to get us through Winter Menu.  The stock is running low, and I am anticipating a price increase post-Christmas and less frequent restocks. JH

Maintenance:

Vlad noticed the large stall in the men's restroom on the first floor had water pooling on the floor around it. After mopping and flushing the toilet a few times he didn't see any more water coming out. Just something to keep an eye on. -DL
