Saturday 12.30 Jenn/Dana



Manager Communication: 
Busy, busy, busy first round, but everyone was great about communicating with and supporting the busier theaters.  Stayed busy throughout the day, but the bigger theaters were a bit more mellow in the second round which gave us a great chance to reset both bars. JH

Another busy evening in the building. Natasha and Jenna were able to both get out around 6 after a full restock in between the rushes. Had a lot of traffic in trees with walkin guests. Ian was able to take care of their needs while Darius and Jeshua were able to handle service bar. Lydia handle the lobby with little assistance all night even though she wasn't feeling 100%. -DL

BAR Staff Observations: 
Tevon and Natasha did a great job setting up both bars, and Jenna arrived shortly after doors opened and went right to Trees.  Jenna and Natasha were great about keeping up with bar guests and a very busy service pass.  Tevon was an absolute champ downstairs.  Having a Lead Bartender scheduled in lobby today was incredibly helpful when dealing with ticketing issues in the first round, as it really let myself and Gill just dive into focusing on service.  

Once the second round had settled in, Jenna was able to cover both bars so they could restock.  And once Ian came in, he batched a bunch of product to set us up for the remainder of the holiday weekend. JH

FOH Staff Observations: 
Servers were great. Barry was great at not only running his strays but communicating to the bar and servers about glassware and drinks going upstairs. -DL

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
Almost done getting the Wage Acknowledgments signed, with just one remaining. JH

86ed / counts on items:
Should keep an eye of Jarrito's. None in the walkin at the moment. -DL

Prep List: 
Ian got a bunch of batching done, so we are looking pretty set for the remaining two days of holiday time.  He was also able to juice a quart each of lime and lemon juice, so we should be set until after New Years. JH

Espresso Martini and Winter GT kicked at the end of the night. Should make a backup of each tomorrow if time permits. 

Over/Short on Banks:
Trees bank was $5 short at closing

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
Two new coffee urns arrived.  Dana washed them both and they are ready for brunch service tomorrow. JH

We are going to run out of Grapefruit Jarritos, probably sometime tonight or early tomorrow.  I already reached out to Ashley (opening bar tomorrow) and asked her to buy some on her way in.  We will get more delivered on Wednesday. JH

Mobilebytes Issues: 
Could we add an optional mod for subbing in grapefruit juice in a Mimosa?  It's not a common order, but when it does happen there is confusion over how best to ring it in. JH

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
