Thursday 10/31/24 Gus & Lauren

Manager Communication: I got to oversee some stuff on Bevager and am excited to help out with all of the admin stuff.-LB  Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations:  -I'm noticing some overpouring happening. I addressed it with the bartender and told them if it keeps happening we will have to jigger. I'm worried this is pervasive and why our numbers are all over the place. -GS FOH Staff Observations: Some wonderful, spirited costumes!! Hiring/Training: It is my last day training, yee haw. -LB Sick Leave/ Call outs:   Special Events? Nosferatu was a good hit at bar. Hopefully they will come back after the film for NOSFERATWO!  Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Staggering the cleaning of the frozen machines perhaps to slowly acclimate them to the change in procedure? -LB 86ed / counts on items: Singlecut did not come today, so opening bar team needs to remember to run the left side draft line of Kim in Trees Lounge when it is tapped. It will run clear with Fountain Mango un...

Wednesday 10/30/24 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:    We should add ginger beer to the soda options on the menu reprint. I also think that adding the brand Barq's to the root beer is advantageous for sales, as a root beer snob. -LB As this was mentioned in the email chain, I think it is really only important for mixer-knowledge.  Lauren and I got to business this morning reorganizing the liquor room and walk-in. Lauren had a great idea to move the refrigerated batching booze to the middle compartment of the brunch lowboy where we used to keep the tangerine juice and orange juice for the Ecto Chiller, as the crate in the walk-in seems to be forgotten frequently (judging by the multiple open bottles in it). - IP Acadia came by to do the spend Rosaluna mezcal. I charged her for 7 Tornado Wranglers(that didn't go out) and she tipped. Fun fact, I already knew Acadia. She is great. -LB I think the bars could use a few more bar spoons.  We could also benefit from the enzymatic drain sticks, especially...

Tuesday 10.29.24 Gus/Ian & Lauren

Manager Communication: Gus and Lauren and I started off the shift with a little cleaning in bar prep and getting everything set up for Trivia. Once we got trivia off and running James and Daniella and Chenelle got everything all set for the private screening in Th. 7. Team was firing on all cylinders. - IP BAR Staff Observations:  So just an idea for the frose protocol, since it seems to add a bit to the end of the night. Ian and Lauren consider doing the emptying and cleaning on a rotation so the motors get a break. Cleaning the bubblers is really not difficult. The emptying of the machines also poses a little bit of a cold parking problem. Ideally leaving them all full and on through the weekend would be good idea to alleviate some of the opening/closing mayhem of our busiest days. - LB FOH Staff Observations: Siena and Jay held down theater 1 when the special event prep was going on. Dee and Rebecca jumped in from Theater 2 for a bit to help deliver some drinks that were waiting...

Monday / 10.28.24 Gus & Ariel / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Servers had some beef tonight. I don't know. I still feel like I did not hear enough from both ends. I was there when Kim yelled at the TH1 servers in the station. I do not disagree with Kim or her reaction. The servers that were supporting TH1 were very mad for being told they were not doing anything. I was in Tree's almost the whole night. I saw Shae, Juliana, and Kim plenty doing support but I also did not appreciate them arguing about it in the pass. I told them that I respect them and hear them but now (in the middle of the rush) was not the time for this and to save it for after. - AB2 I printed out all binder pages and updated the Tree's and Lobby binders to Fall 2024 menu thangs. - AB2 I used the label maker and was able to change up some of the taps in Tree's but the label maker is still in Tree's and still has some taps that can be changed. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Darius, Tevon, Lydia, and Patrick were all great tonight. Hyped...

Sunday 10.27 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication:  Sort of a chaotic morning as Nathaniel was sick. Shoutout to Rebecca for coming in. We opened the building easily. Chill day.  When I got in around family meal time everyone was super awesome about being hands-on and getting the bars reset and restocked for some busy upstairs theater rushes. Everything was super smooth - which I deeply appreciated because what I thought was allergies I could push through is quickly turning into a nasty sinus infection and cold. James and Daniella are awesome people and were quick to assure me they could handle anything that went down if I headed out a bit early - which I didn't want to do, but ended up heading out shortly before 11:30. I had Darius come up to Trees after closing the lobby to make sure Brian was all set. The last rounds were pretty quiet so it was all groovy. - IP  Customer Comments:   I had a guest who came down to ask for a bag of ice and some water for his wife who was feeling faint during T...

Saturday 10.26.24 Gus & Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:    Some creative problem solving among the managers to try and mitigate the mildew tray smell as bringing our exquisite creations by way of a unpleasant stench of feet is unsavory.  Slight system pivot could alleviate the trays not drying completely.  When I came in, Natasha was already batching. It was very busy from the moment I got on the floor. Family meal came up around 6p right when a crush of service tickets was pouring in at the Trees pass and there was already a pretty busy bar. Everyone was a real trooper when it came to bearing down and pushing through a tough crush while circulating to get family meal and a restock. - IP BAR Staff Observations:   I, Lauren, would like to improve the retention of customers and bring in new customers to Trees Lounge.  A few different ideas to develop this are worth discussing.   Despite a difficult situation during the busiest rush, with family meal rotation, restocking and lack of...

Friday 10.25.24 Jenn/Lauren/Gus

Manager Communication: Lots of coverage today! Customer Comments: Busy tonight. People came and hung out at the bar, which was cool. BAR Staff Observations: We have such a hard working team. Tevon was cranking out batches. Natasha and Matthew are like Bonnie and Clyde behind the bar. They both did express some discontent about Bryan's listening skills. I sort of see what they are saying, I will monitor it. I think we just need to have firm cut off times with him. For instance- instead of saying "okay when blah blah blah gets done I'll cut you" I think he needs firm direction such as "I'll need you clocked out by ___" I don't think its getting out of hand, but I think he does circumvent the leads to stay working. Also want to note that he does work very hard, I'm not saying he's not an asset to the team. FOH Staff Observations: Cait rules. Such a great attitude and communicated some drink notes very effectively. Also, quite a good sense of hum...

Thursday 10.24 Jenn/Lauren/Gus

Manager Communication: Lots of coverage.  Customer Comments: Good crowd. BAR Staff Observations: Great crew on Thursday night. Lydia had some friends in a theater who told their server she left drink tokens for them? None of us knew about it, but we hooked it up none the less, I'm going to mention it to her that if she wants do something nice for people thats cool, but she needs to inform us. FOH Staff Observations:  Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events Wyatt Sineac DJ set Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: 86 Grimm Prep List: I did the brown butter rum blend. Have the frozens ready to go. We have one of each keg made.  Need to make a lot of batches tomorrow, but we have a good start   R&D comp checks: I'll do the tasting comps tomorrow before we finish the inventory Over/Short on Banks: Pay Outs: $27 Gus- Bar groceries  (Sarsaparilla & Ginger beer) Lost & Found?: Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Baldor ...

Wednesday 10.23.24 Gus/Jenn/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Lots of getting organized for the new menu today. Everyone was on their game from the meeting this morning all through service. Got all the new product squared away in the liquor room and all the wines stocked and chilling in the walk-in. - IP BAR Staff Observations: It was a long day for everyone but it didn't slow anyone down. Got the openers out of here relatively early as it was pretty sleepy aside from prep for the new menu. Gab and Patrick killed it closing Trees and Lobby solo. - IP Hiring/Training:  Lauren got to start out the day opening Trees with Matthew, and then she got some time behind both bars to do more POS review, as well as some Filmbot reps.  She did her server trail with Rebecca in Th3, starting at the end of the first round and then opening up the second round. JH Sick Leave/ Call outs: No security again tonight. No issues presented themselves, but if we could just get a heads up when there isn't going to be anyone here that would b...

Tuesday 10/22/24 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication: Nathaniel and Dani were all over the building tonight and did a great job holding everything down during a Trivia BLITZ. Gus and I did some prep in the liquor room to make space for the new arrivals. I organized the batching spirits shelf and the random liquor crates as well. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Team was on point tonight for a really busy trivia paired with a great turnout for Christine. Major shout out to Lydia for handling the pass during the busiest rush of the night and sticking through til Trivia got settled. Maya was terrific as usual on the floor, giving excellent service to a fully crowded Trees Lounge trivia crowd. Darius and Tevon were equally outstanding keeping Maya supported and cranking out the drinks. Jeshua, to no one's surprise, crushed it in the lobby. FOH Staff Observations: Alex and Madison were stalwarts this evening. Every time I was at the pass they were ready to tray up their drinks and support any other theater that needed i...

Monday / 10.21.24 Gus & Ariel / NPP

Manager Communication: I just want to say, the management team here rules. Everyone just wants to get things done, and I really appreciate that. -GS I took a case of Pisco for Williamsburg. - AB2 Customer Comments: A bunch of teenagers were drinking outside drinks and eating outside food today. I came up and they dispersed. I have no problem with teenagers, but I do think it is on us to make sure they are following our rules. I'm going to personally monitor this when I'm here. -GS BAR Staff Observations: Darius really is awesome -GS FOH Staff Observations: Abe needs direction, but man he is an awesome guy. -GS Special Events? None, but a Newfest representative came because they lost an iPad. We looked in the storage closet and in the lost and found. Didn't find it. 86ed / counts on items: Same from yesterday, plus Ecto Chiller Prep List: - Simple Syrup - 2 Lemonade's - AB2 R&D comp checks: J7 R&D 3 Lairds, Milagro, Bocuse d'Or - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Sh...

Sunday 10.20 Jenn/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Chill Sunday all around. Great managerial presence all day. Good amount of people sticking around to catch a couple innings of the Mets game - otherwise not much to report. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Openers had already been cut when I got in. Held on to Miguel for a bit while Jeshua and Darius restocked their respective bars and got him out of here around 6p. Tevon stuck around to help Jeshua with the dinner round and then got outta here. Darius and Lauren held down the lobby and Jeshua flew Trees solo for the remainder of the evening and crushed. - IP Hiring/Training: Lauren started the day up at Trees lounge getting some time behind the bar and learning the service flow and where everything lives. She spent the second half of the evening down in the lobby focusing on Filmbot and helping direct guests to the theaters. She's taking on everything with a great attitude and asking all the right questions. I'm stoked to have her on board! - IP Staff Meetin...

Saturday 10/19 Jenn/Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: We were all set up for success by Jenn when Lauren and I came in. Obviously we are almost 86ing a lot of items, so batching was limited. Lauren and I made a Firewalk* and another batch of the Bocuse D'or. It was a pretty sleepy Saturday on the whole - gave Lauren and I a good chance to get granular on some of the stuff we do. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Lauren and I went through a ton of managerial stuff tonight, and the bar team absolutely held it down. Patrick, Gab and Darius crushed all service rushes with ease - got Gab out of here around 9:30. Jeshua and Bryan were excellent in lobby as per usual. Great work all around. - IP Hiring/Training: LAUREN RULES! Super quick to pick up all the myriad elements of the job - obviously knows what she's doing and I think will be an awesome asset to the team. - IP Special Events? The HBO event went smoothly - the tab for the party was closed under Trees Lounge Cinema - it was communicated to me that Gil knows how...

Friday 10/18/24 Jenn/Gus/Ariel & LAUREN!!!

Manager Communication: Well staffed today. I was a little behind the gun today, but plenty of help from the other managers. Great energy Chill day all around. Great staff and everyone BODIED their shift. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Bryan is really good at opening. You can tell he was a manager cause he really sees the floor and the night quite nicely FOH Staff Observations: Quetzie is just so gangsta. I want to put that on the record here. She just gets things DONE! - AB2 Hiring/Training: Lauren Day 1 Special Events? None today Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Nothing comes to mind 86ed / counts on items: St. Agrestes Spritz, Tempranillo, Grapes of Wrathwater. Ginger beer Prep List: We are dwindling down what we are prepping, so be on the lookout for 86's this week. Definitely scaling back. -GS 2 Firewalk 2 Lemonades - Arbol Tequila - Simple Syrup - Peach Tea Concentrate   Pay Outs: 2 $7-Gus, $48- Nicholas

Thursday 10.17 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: What a good night. Energy was popping throughout. Wyatt really took control of the Brooklyn Horror fest. Jared taught me how to make buttons. Daniella and I yacked it up about coming up with a cool cocktail for the winter. A+ game all around. Jenn left the bar set up for success. Everyone was buzzing. Customer Comments: There is a Manager comp check for $287.50. This is because the host of the Brooklyn Horror fest asked about the Well, wine options and what beer we offered for the tickets. We quickly came up with options, relayed that to the bar team and the party was great. Great energy. After about an hour the host I believe got wind of the different options available and had buyers remorse, and wanted to make sure that the tickets he brought were only good for Narragansett. So I just moved the booze and wine we poured them off to a different tab and rang in Narragansett to appease him. The rest of the party went off without a hitch. BAR Staff Observations: Pat...

Wednesday 10.16 Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Came in a little early and got us batched up on Newfest cocktails. Got the USFoods and Union Beer orders all squared away. Matthew and Patrick got the bars all open and looking pretty with no issue. - IP The Substance continues to do great in the larger theaters, and both NewFest screenings were close to sold out.  Held off on routing downstairs until after 11:00pm, as T4T kept Trees busy from start to finish, so only Th3 was routed. JH BAR Staff Observations:  By the time I arrived, all bartenders were in and Ian had gotten us batched and ready for T4T.  Matthew was able to get some batching done, mostly N/A Spritzer kegs, and then got out of here once the second round had settled on the first floor.  Jeshua sailed through service solo downstairs, and was great about me pushing back the routing time to accommodate Trees.  Patrick, Lydia, and Bryan were an unstoppable team at Trees tonight.  We had a pretty thorough pre-shift, and th...

Tuesday 10.15 Gus/Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: The Queer Media Mixer was BANANAS! The screening of the Filmmaker Grant Showcase went a little long, so the whole theater one crowd came in around 9:35-9:45 and we were off to the races. Had to go through almost all of the Vodka cocktail, and most of the Tequila cocktail. Was fully wrapped up and reset by 1:00ish. - IP BAR Staff Observations:  Jeshua and Patrick opened both bars without issue, and the mellow sales of the first round gave us plenty of time to prepare for tonight's two NF events. JH Patrick swung up for the beginning of the QMM push, but we quickly realized the three behind the bar could handle the crowd and the tickets. Got Patrick out of here around 9:30, and then Jeshua, Nat and Darius absolutely CRUSHED IT. It was wall-to-wall peeps from 9:30-11:30. Four deep at the bar and I don't think I ever saw them break a sweat. We FLEW threw a TON of product, and they always were ahead of it, having me run the to the back to get more / batch more...

Monday 10/14/24 Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication: Last round of TH1 was supposed to play "Speak No Evil." The movie was apparently not connected to the projector and could not be played. There was a total of 10 people in attendance and it was suggested to Daniella to play a different movie so she asked the guests what movie they would want to watch. Once I got light of it WE made a call to cancel the projection and call it a night for TH1 since the movie would have ended past 1:00am. Only 4 guests remained during "The Substance" and they were the only ones affected. Everyone was fully refunded for their tickets. I have never experienced this situation so please lemme know if there is a better way it could have been handled. Feel free to Zoom me in tomorrow for the meeting if anyone wants to speak on this further. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations:   Lydia and Darius worked really hard this morning. Both very responsible and keep me informed. - GS I wanted to speak on the menu change process. Patri...

Sunday 10/13/24 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication:  Sleepy Sunday. Nathaniel wasn't feeling well so he left before we opened- we opened just fine. Carly came in and rocked it. - Gus Stayed very chill throughout the night. After the sun went down Trees stayed super quiet. BeetlejuiceX2 is bringing in all the spooky season late-comers. Good for Winona! - IP BAR Staff Observations:  One of the agenda notes for the bar meeting has to be eating behind the bar. I'm going to mention it on the 23rd, but its just not cool. Diminishes the professionalism of this place. - Gus Tevon and Jeshua held down a relatively busy service rush at trees for the 5:45 The Substance. After that I went to the back to make some bloody mary mix and peach tea concentrate. Patrick and Darius rocked it in the lobby. Got Tevon outta here around 7:30, and held onto Patrick to get through the busy BJBJ rushes downstairs and he left closer to 8:30. - IP FOH Staff Observations:   Justine is very helpful and has a good attitude. - Gus A...

Saturday 10.12 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: We flew through Mr. Fusion and Lemonade so I went ahead and made a double Fusion and two lemonades. Ticket sales climbed steadily through the night and the first and third floors were poppin' the whole way through.  We had one unfriendly, six-legged visitor - Mr. Roach - in the lobby bar tonight. Dwight got rid of it without alerting any attention from guests - but just wanted to note it here to make sure that we're aware and on top of staying fresh and clean as the season changes, and we don't risk inviting more visitors. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Bryan and Natasha opened and stocked both bars this morning which, paired with sales, meant neither bar really needed to do a restock until we were in the third round.  Matthew got in just before the Th1 NewFest screening kicked off, and then he got some batching done while Gabrielle held down Trees with Natasha.  Natasha got out of here around three, and the others were able to hold it down before clo...

Friday 10/12/24 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Man we were stacked tonight. Dream team. Very smooth. Desmond was around making it happen for the festival. Pretty slow night. People are allergic to watching Joker 2. Customer Comments: The Mez party were so nice. Very low key BAR Staff Observations: Matthew and Natasha are such a solid team. Bryan is such a team player. FOH Staff Observations: They were great today. Good teamwork. Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: None Special Events? Group on the Mezz and New Fest Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items:  Very low on Grapes of Wrath syrup Prep List: 4 Firewalks 2 Lemonade 1 Old Fashion 1 Arbol Tequila     R&D comp checks: Over/Short on Banks: No Pay Outs: Yes Lost & Found?: Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor coming tomorrow Maintenance: Mobilebytes Issues: Filmbot Issues:

Thursday 10.10 Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  The Substance continues to dominate sales in the bigger theaters, and the special event in Th3 brought a great crowd to Trees after the Q&A was concluded. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Slow numbers today so I offered cuts- team was really communicative about what they wanted and needed and we reached a solution easily. -Gus Easygoing crew for an easygoing night. JH FOH Staff Observations:  Lots of meetings today, but Rebecca was very pleasant and communicative as always. -Gus Hiring/Training:  Had a tasting and long chat with a potential bar manager, Lauren Billings. -Gus Prep List: Matthew got us batched up on Bloody Mary Concentrate and the NewFest36 special that goes live tomorrow. JH     Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Recieved a lot of stuff today, shouldn't be 86 on anything.  Al's is back, as is Ruby, Balviene 14, Siete Misterios, JW Black, got more Fernet from NWB. -Gus Maintenance:  There is a table in tr...

Wednesday 10.09 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:   A very relaxed evening from start to finish with a little foot traffic at Trees before and after Demon Knight. I got all the wines organized and stashed away in the liquor room, and did a little shelf stocking to make some space on the platform where the water cases are stored. Also got the walk-in restocked with Prosecco and a two cases chillin'. - IP BAR Staff Observations:  It might make sense to cut one of our bartenders tomorrow, unless ticket sales grow a lot overnight.  Check out sales numbers when you get in. JH Matthew and Jeshua both got outta here pretty early (and both went to go see Demon Knight!). Matthew got us ahead on a third N/A Spritz Keg and some more Mr. Fusion - everything else is shiny shiny for tomorrow. Patrick was great in the lobby and Gab and I made quick work of a pretty good drink rush for Demon Knight. All around excellent work! - IP FOH Staff Observations: Gus had mentioned ticket stacking last week and that did see...

Tuesday 10.08 Gus/Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: Theaters were super chill today, but Trivia was groovy. Not super packed like usual, but still a good crowd. Set up went great, until I had to run to theater 1 to help Bryn after she fell and hurt her ankle. Tevon, Darius and Maya have Trivia on a track at this point, so they knew the drill and it was super easy. - IP Customer Comments: Trivia crowd was a good mix of the old guard and some new faces. The guest host brought some new blood in, and we also had some familiar Hawks in attendance. - IP BAR Staff Observations: As mentioned above, the Trivia team is a dream. I had nothing to worry about the whole time - and Brian held it down in the lobby. - IP FOH Staff Observations: Conner was super quick, calm and collected when he came down to Trees and asked if I could come up to theater 1 to help Bryn after she fell. I quietly snuck into the theater and got her some ice and some water. Nathaniel and I helped her out of the theater and got her down to the lobby. Fro...

Monday 10.07.24 Gus & Ariel

Manager Communication:  Chill night with not much going on. Theaters were slow. Guests were happy, Gangsta Boogie. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Darius, Tevon, Lydia, and Patrick rocked out the shift today. Everyone was great and had a nice smooth shift. - AB2 86ed / counts on items: 86'd - Ruby N/A - Miller High Life - Balvenie 14yr - Siete Misterios - Maker's Mark - Willet Pot Count - Johnnie Walker Black (3) - AB2 Prep List: Tevon batched us up with - Negroni - Lemonade - Strawberry Mint Syrup - Mr. Fusion - BM mix (not concentrate) - AB2

Sunday 10.06.24 Gus & Ian

Manager Communication: Even with the not-fully-sold-out sales for Joker 2, today was BUSY. First floor was rockin' all day, and Trees stayed bustling - lots of folks seeming to be into the baseball games. Gus got ahead of a bunch of batching so the walk-in is stocked, rocked and ready to roll into this upcoming week. IP Customer Comments:   Not a lot to speak of. -Gus We had several very raucous guests in theater 5 during the last round of the night, who repeatedly came to Trees trying to get food and beverage service. I explained the service style, and they seemed to have a difficult time comprehending what I was saying. The guests appeared intoxicated (I conferred with Tiffany who was serving them, and subsequently Daniella and heard more about the disturbances in the theater, and their behavior), so when two of the party decided to leave the theater to order shots and more drinks at Trees lounge, I made the decision to cut them and their party off from more alcohol. They were un...

Saturday 10.05 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:  ST&B was absolutely popping this morning.  Lots of kids, lots of costumes, and lots of tickets sold.  Wild Robot continues to do really well in all theaters, and Joker sales definitely pick up once we get to the later rounds. JH Very steady all evening. The dinner round on the first and third floors was packed, and the Joker screenings in 1/2 were also heavily populated. We kept baseball on the TV's all night and it kept a steady crowd at trees all night until around 10:30. IP   BAR Staff Observations:  Easy first round, with Maya and Natasha starting the day strong, with Matthew arriving just as ST&B was kicking off.  Once Gabrielle got in, both bars were able to restock, and then Natasha was able to get some batching out of the way before closers got in. JH Both bars stayed quite busy all evening. Matthew and Jeshua crushed it in the lobby. I got Matt outta here shortly after the busy dinner round push. Gab, Darius a...

Friday 10.04.24 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Plenty of managers around tonight. Customer Comments: Everyone was really nice BAR Staff Observations:  Bryan and Tevon sailed through the first round, and closers all came in right before the second round dinner rush was beginning. JH Natasha and Matthew really thrive working together. They did a nice job. FOH Staff Observations: Erika was disturbed by how the fruit was being peeled and felt it appropriate to confront me about it during service.  -Gus Special Events? Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Opening and Closing proceedures and expectations. 86ed / counts on items: Miller High Life (24-I've emailed them multiple times. Hopefully it comes tomorrow Prep List:  Firewalk Lemonade Spritz Old Fashioned That's Life -Gus R&D comp checks: Over/Short on Banks: Bar was short $163, there was a reciept from Home Depot for $153.15, but it was never inputted into the system. We are hoping there is a logical explanation for it. We are looking into it and w...

Thursday 10.03 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication:  Yay for weekday holidays!  Pretty busy from the start today, and that just kept up throughout the afternoon and evening.  Trees was pretty packed by 6:00pm, and Tevon smartly suggested we put on the Mets game at 7. JH Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations:  Dream team out there tonight.  Both Matthew and Patrick set both bars up for success, and sailed through the first round.  Tevon and Natasha were both in by the time Trees had filled up and the second round was beginning in Th1, which kept service running smoothly. JH Tevon was really pumped up that the Mets won. Natasha and Tevon crushed it at Trees FOH Staff Observations:  First round definitely had some issues with servers either not fully prepping their stations, or not taking ownership of their assigned theaters.   Th1 had about a dozen guests in the theater ten minutes before doors, with several servers milling about the server station, and then that same...

Wednesday 10.02 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: Pretty steady night at Trees capped off by a very busy Spoons. I got the liquor order all stored away in the liquor room. Matthew did some essential batching before getting out of here around 7p. I picked the two pounds of mint and went ahead and made the strawberry mint syrup so another keg of the N/A spritz can get made tomorrow easy peasy.  Matthew and Tevon are swapping shifts tomorrow, so now Matthew is opening and Tevon is closing. Nathaniel helped me approve the swap on 7Shifts. I do not yet have permissions established to approve shift trades. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua captained the lobby and did a great job, as per usual. I got Matt outta here on the earlier side so he could get home to his pupper who is home alone.  Brian volunteered to swing upstairs and was truly the hero of the night. He and Gab held down a steady bar crowd before and during STB, and he got outta here around 10:15. Gab was aces for the remainder of the Spoons showi...

Tuesday 10.01.24 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication: Super sleepy today all around. Got Darius out of here a little before 7p - swung Lydia up to Trees for the one busy round of The Substance in theater 2 and got her out of here around 9p. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Everybody was great tonight. Only one busy push for theaters 2 and 4 at the same time - and it was handled with ease. Patrick took care of a little push at the bar after The Substance let out around 10:30 like a champ. Shoutout to Brian for making sure to check in on Patrick and grab him a stock at the end of the night when he was all finished and ready to go - love to see the support from lobby to Trees during close. - IP FOH Staff Observations: Brendan and Quetzie did an awesome job traying up and running drinks tonight. Kudos! - IP Sick Leave/ Call outs:   Jenn sick (feel better) - Gus Special Events? Screening of "Henry" presented no issues with only a handful of guests. - IP Prep List: Cotton Candy Syrup 2 Firewalk - Gus I went ahead ...
