Manager Communication:
We should add ginger beer to the soda options on the menu reprint. I also think that adding the brand Barq's to the root beer is advantageous for sales, as a root beer snob. -LB As this was mentioned in the email chain, I think it is really only important for mixer-knowledge.
Lauren and I got to business this morning reorganizing the liquor room and walk-in. Lauren had a great idea to move the refrigerated batching booze to the middle compartment of the brunch lowboy where we used to keep the tangerine juice and orange juice for the Ecto Chiller, as the crate in the walk-in seems to be forgotten frequently (judging by the multiple open bottles in it). - IP
Acadia came by to do the spend Rosaluna mezcal. I charged her for 7 Tornado Wranglers(that didn't go out) and she tipped. Fun fact, I already knew Acadia. She is great. -LB
I think the bars could use a few more bar spoons. We could also benefit from the enzymatic drain sticks, especially by bar prep. I noticed a few flies when I was cleaning. Since we leave batches partially open to cool it might be good to lock down that situation. But maybe at some point it won't be Summer and they will die. -LB
So Lyre's classico was probably priced out to accommodate the smaller serving...the can are 8.5 so we should raise the price of that on the menu as I recall this product is pricey as is. -LB
Ian stayed late to ensure smooth service for busy event. Lauren is still here and will make sure Trees is set with Patrick to help before I take off, although I am publishing this now. -LB

BABIES ON BABIES. Lotsa dirty diapers. Matthew crushed for most of the event and Gab swung in helped get it across the finish line. They were drankin' and eating, so twas a good event all around.
The Scream screening/Drag Show fully sold out, and before it started we had some scheduling issues we want to address. In the future we should make sure that there is a closing bar manager scheduled when we have a big sold out event at 9p. Perhaps we could also consider scheduling an additional bartender for Trees to prevent stretching the opener's hours towards 9+. I totally get wanting to keep the pool as small as possible, but when the opener is already almost at 8 hours when the event starts, that's a lot. We swung Patrick up to Trees after Lobby Bar was put to bed to help Gab with the rush after the show got out, which was a great help - but we are definitely stretching it pretty thin with no bar manager and only two closers.
In regards to late night action in Trees Lounge, I think expecting that as the bar is putting stuff away, limiting the options for post-screening guests is ideal. For example: frozen machines and batched cocktails would be unavailable while wine, beer, mixed drinks would be fine. Otherwise, they will be here a lot later than expected. -LB

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
With the Princes of Maine now being in the collins, we discovered tonight that the Princes of Maine and the Dead Man's Chest look very similar and need a garnish to differentiate. Easiest move would be to throw a lime wedge on the Dead Man's Chest, but we should discuss. - IP

We killed the two half empty kegs on the Kim's line at Trees, left a note for line to be run once Kim is tapped tomorrow. Matthew stocked the last of the large Saratoga sparkling water, we have small ones in the liquor room that US foods subbed last week. - LB
