Manager Communication:
Some creative problem solving among the managers to try and mitigate the mildew tray smell as bringing our exquisite creations by way of a unpleasant stench of feet is unsavory.  Slight system pivot could alleviate the trays not drying completely.

When I came in, Natasha was already batching. It was very busy from the moment I got on the floor. Family meal came up around 6p right when a crush of service tickets was pouring in at the Trees pass and there was already a pretty busy bar. Everyone was a real trooper when it came to bearing down and pushing through a tough crush while circulating to get family meal and a restock. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
I, Lauren, would like to improve the retention of customers and bring in new customers to Trees Lounge.  A few different ideas to develop this are worth discussing.

Despite a difficult situation during the busiest rush, with family meal rotation, restocking and lack of glassware - the team really pulled it together and made it work. Patrick crushed at the pass, while Gab held down guest facing and Darius was on top of washing and distributing glassware as fast as possible.  Jeshua and Matthew were awesome in the lobby, working together to make a very busy first floor look like a cake walk. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Great responsive team all around.

Caleb was fantastic tonight when things were a bit harried at Trees. He was extremely helpful with running glassware through the dish machine and helping to break out pints from the stack of freshly washed glassware as needed. Very impressive - thankful he was there. - IP

Hiring/Training:
I, Lauren, have been hired and trained.  Everyone is quite knowledgeable and willing to instruct me in their areas of expertise.  It has been quite the whirlwind orientation.

Sick Leave/ Call outs:

I, Lauren, am unaware of this.

Special Events?
Kevin Geeks out.  Lots of Trees Lounge action post-screening.

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Tweaking of garnishes possible on some new cocktail.

Patrick suggested orange wheels as a differentiator from slices and peels. Maybe something to think about. - IP

I noticed some flooding during ice-burning, thinking it was the sink - but it was that the water was turned on so high it was splashing out of the store'n'pour caddies and over the back of the well. I think we should note to everyone to make sure when burning ice that there is no spillage.

I got my share of tests graded, filed away and updated the spreadsheet accordingly. Now the only remaining bar team member who has yet to take the test is Maya. I also put some of the new cocktail build/batch guides into the bar binder in bar prep - just the ones that were already printed out and sitting inside the binder. Didn't have a chance to print out all of them - can complete tomorrow. - IP

86ed / counts on items:
Hennessy is light in stock.  Flatbread and Monte Cristo were 86ed by kitchen pre-shift.
86 Hennessy
86 Chamomile Infused Dorothy Parker*
*We only have two bottles of Dorothy Parker in house

Prep List:
I swung Darius to the back to do some light batching while Gab was still here and things had calmed down. He batched two Cherry Limeades, a double Anora Special, and one We Live In Time special.

I batched more Pear Sage Maple Syrup and subsequently made a double batch of Princes of Maine, as we were flying through it! Should be good to go for tomorrow morning. - IP

Pay Outs:
$10 - 5200 FOOD (Produce)
$40 - 7150 Misc Ops
- IP

Lost & Found?:
This woman is stalking her coat and air tag. She sidled me, Lauren, in the Lobby bar service area.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Manhattan & Baldor

Maintenance:
Sharpened some knives for the bar, but also placed an order for approval for some new bar knives.  Soda gun in the pit at Trees seems to be leaking some syrup from the gun, which drips on glasses.
