Manager Communication:
We flew through Mr. Fusion and Lemonade so I went ahead and made a double Fusion and two lemonades. Ticket sales climbed steadily through the night and the first and third floors were poppin' the whole way through. 

We had one unfriendly, six-legged visitor - Mr. Roach - in the lobby bar tonight. Dwight got rid of it without alerting any attention from guests - but just wanted to note it here to make sure that we're aware and on top of staying fresh and clean as the season changes, and we don't risk inviting more visitors. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Bryan and Natasha opened and stocked both bars this morning which, paired with sales, meant neither bar really needed to do a restock until we were in the third round.  Matthew got in just before the Th1 NewFest screening kicked off, and then he got some batching done while Gabrielle held down Trees with Natasha.  Natasha got out of here around three, and the others were able to hold it down before closers got in. JH

Bar team absolutely smashed it tonight. Service rushes got very busy at Trees and Darius and Lydia were all over it. I had Matthew swing down to help with a sold out lobby bar push before he got outta here around 7p. From then on Jeshua was an absolute unit. Dude just crushes drink service by himself and is always super attentive to anyone wandering the lobby looking lost. Really impressive. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Tiffany was excellent with drink support tonight. Every time I turned around she was there to tray up and run drinks. Good stuff. - IP

Special Events? 
Both NewFest screenings went well, definitely brought a crowd to Trees afterwards, but not too many people looking to drink.  Touched base with their staff and Desmond beforehand, and made sure to remind opening bartenders about the screenings. JH

Maintenance:
The drain all the way to the right in bar prep is getting stopped up. It does eventually drain, but slowly - so if there is an excess of water in the big sinks, it will overflow and spill out onto the bar prep floor and under the lowboys. Vlad said there is something that needs to be unscrewed in the drain in order to unclog it. Def wanna take a look at it. - IP

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
