Manager Communication:
The Queer Media Mixer was BANANAS! The screening of the Filmmaker Grant Showcase went a little long, so the whole theater one crowd came in around 9:35-9:45 and we were off to the races. Had to go through almost all of the Vodka cocktail, and most of the Tequila cocktail. Was fully wrapped up and reset by 1:00ish. - IP

BAR Staff Observations: 
Jeshua and Patrick opened both bars without issue, and the mellow sales of the first round gave us plenty of time to prepare for tonight's two NF events. JH

Patrick swung up for the beginning of the QMM push, but we quickly realized the three behind the bar could handle the crowd and the tickets. Got Patrick out of here around 9:30, and then Jeshua, Nat and Darius absolutely CRUSHED IT. It was wall-to-wall peeps from 9:30-11:30. Four deep at the bar and I don't think I ever saw them break a sweat. We FLEW threw a TON of product, and they always were ahead of it, having me run the to the back to get more / batch more when necessary. Glassware was not even an issue as Jenn and co. absolutely killed it on getting glassware up to Trees after Film Feast. Two thumbs WAY WAY up. -IP 

FOH Staff Observations:
*chanting* QUETZIE! QUETZIE! QUETZIE! Absolutely a god-send tonight helping with service on the mezz and clearing the floor of dead glasssware. All with an incredible attitude and a smile. Truly magnificent. - IP 

Special Events? 
Film Feast service was great, and all drink courses went out without issue.  We put the twelve unopened bottles in a box, and I let Desmond know so that NF can take it with them tonight. JH

Queer Media Mixer was MASSIVE tonight. We made *just* enough of (some of) the cocktail product to get through the insane service, with plenty of wine and beer remaining. Huge turnout with lots of food and drink and merriment (DJ was good too). Total banger. - IP

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
