Manager Communication : The Little Mermaid dinner round and The Apple in the last round really led the way with ticket sales tonight.  Trees had a pretty decent crowd that ebbed and flowed throughout the night, capped off by The Apple afterparty. JH BAR Staff Observations : Gabrielle was able to get out of here in time to see her son's show, and Lydia held down Lobby solo all evening without issue.  Ashley got a ton of batching done in preparation for tomorrow's reception at Trees as well as Spider-Man's arrival, heading out to Trees during heavier service pushes.  Matthew was a champ at Trees tonight, and was able to get out of here after the first wave of guests were able to order for The Apple afterparty.  The afterparty wound down naturally and Ashley had no problem closing down Trees. Manager Communication : Pretty mellow evening, with the dinner round Th1/2 screenings of The Little Mermaid being the biggest service pops of the night. JH BAR Staff Observations : Both bars were opened and well into service by the time I arrived.  Once closers were in and everyone had a chance to grab family meal, both bars got restocked and Maya was able to get out of here shortly after.  Lydia stuck around for the second round The Little Mermaid screenings, and they have definitely found their footing with regards to both leading service at the pass as well as taking direction when someone else is expo'ing.  Lydia was cut shortly after, and both Darius and Miguel closed each bar without issue. Manager Communication: Very busy morning and afternoon. EL To add to this, every single showing of Little Mermaid sold out on top of other rooms being sold out or near sold out for the majority of they day. A lot of faces at Trees as well.  Frozen machines were cleaned today instead of yesterday to make sure we started our sold out day strong and not have to worry about product taking a while to freeze. EA Customer Comments:  Had a pair of guests leave TH4 because they didn't like Beau is Afraid, but let me know that they were told that they had to wait to close their check. After closing it, I went upstairs to talk to Grey (one of our newer servers) and let him know that if a guest requests to close out early, they are more than welcome to do so. Manager Communication: The building was in full swing of things when I got in this afternoon. Plenty of traffic in the streets that led to a lot of walk ins. Little Mermaid was the star of the show today followed with a lot of sales from other showings. All areas of the building were busy for pretty much dinner and evening rounds. A lot of theaters jumped in sales via walk ins and Trees saw a decent amount of people before and after the dinner round. EA BAR Staff Observations:  Natasha was already cut for the day, but Miguel helped hold it down until the closers came in. Darius and Chester were solid mids today and were able to move from Trees to Lobby as needed and communicated closely with Tevon in order to keep things stocked and moving. Manager Communication: Great afternoon and dinner rush. Though the numbers in the late round were lower, we did have a lot of walk in tickets sold that helped bump up the sales a bit. EA BAR Staff Observations : Solid opens from both Natasha and Tevon, with Natasha holding down lobby solo all morning and Tevon navigating some very well-sold screenings in Th1/2.  Lydia helped Tevon start the second round at Trees, and floated back down to Lobby once Ashley arrived.  Tevon got some batching done, and he and Natasha got out of here once that was done and closers were in.  JH Also, leads have been very proactive about keeping eyes on juice levels behind both bars, which has made cocktail service behind both bars much smoother. Manager Communication : Busy, busy dinner round.  Trees was nonstop at the service bar from 5:30 until just about 8:00pm. JH. The evening got a little quieter after ten but still had a good vibe to last call. EL BAR Staff Observations : Ashley, Ian, and Tevon all worked with some of the Skurnik spirits we got in and began to develop some potential summer cocktails. Everyone has seemed really jazzed and motivated about workshopping some stuff after our Lead meeting last Wednesday. JH Great swift closes from Natasha, Matthew and Ashley. Manager Communication: Pretty good evening. Nice crowds and good trees presence.  Customer Comments: Had two guests get their CC's switched and one was charged, but we were able to find both guest, rectify the situation, and I covered both checks, one was tots and a soda and the other was two beers. Everyone was happy with the outcome.  BAR Staff Observations: Ashley opened Trees and batched then got out. Tevon opened Lobby then swung up to Trees after family meal and stayed till about 10pm. Matthew closed lobby and Ian closed Trees. Besides the CC snafu, nothing but great work.  Special Events? Manager Communication: Pretty easy smooth day. Only one big pop for Past Lives. I was able to put together the bar kart. It said to put directional wheels in the back. Let me know how that works for everyone. I'm happy to switch them if needed. BAR Staff Observations: Chester opened Lobby and everything looked good. Ashley opened Trees. When closers arrived and after family meal Chester stayed at Trees while Ashley batched, Chester got out when Ashley was done and Ashley stayed until start of Karaoke and the load out of Past Lives. Matthew closed Trees and Darius Lobby. Great jobs all around. Chester seems be acclimating well to NPP.  Special Events? Past lives had a few people hang at the bar but not many. Karaoke had very low attendance and ended earlier than usual. Some of the main regulars (most from Trivia) didn't make it out today. Susan's pull was lower today as well, although some people who came ended up hanging out with Susan for a bit. It wasn't a total wash....

Manager Communication: Pretty mellow day at both bars and the building in general. Beau is Afraid sold out and the final round of Guardians had a good number of people as well, but that was pretty much it. EA BAR Staff Observations: We cut pretty aggressively today at both bars due to a lower number of ticket sales and lack of foot traffic on the streets.  Miguel also was able to pick up a shorter swing shift for Memorial Day to help us out and prevent all the staff from having a super long day. Manager Communication : Pretty slow Sunday with very few pops. EL Afternoon and evening were just about the same, the late round saw a small increase in ticket sales, but no significant jump. EA BAR Staff Observations:  This were in full swing here today and Natasha was already out by the time I got in with Andrea leaving as soon as the closers were in. Shorter day for both Matthew and Miguel as well since the building was pretty quiet. The late round saw a small jump in sales, but it was nothing that Maya and I couldn't handle with ease. Manager Communication : Opened up with a well-sold Th2 The Last Unicorn, and all of the theaters steadily filled up throughout the day.  Plenty of sold out screenings with walk ins. JH  Dinner round and late round were also pretty sold. Both floor's service bars saw a lot of action, but Trees itself was pretty mellow in regards to actual guests outside of the private party in the Mezz. EA BAR Staff Observations : Eliel and Natasha had great opens, with plenty of stocking since bar team was a little lean until dinner.  Tevon came in a little before one, so Eliel was able to set up to DJ at Trees.  Natasha navigated a couple of very busy service pushes before Ian came in, and then both bars were able to restock and reset.  Natasha got some batching done and was cut once all closers were in and everyone had a chance to grab family meal. Manager Communication: Smooth night tonight. We were down a bartender, but it was a good night for it. Fast X was pretty quiet for an opening night.  The Corona special was very popular.  Can we all please make sure the door to the lobby bar is opened when we lock front doors during our closing shifts? The lemonade in the bubbler downstairs was a little off tonight. It was only 2 days old, so I am assuming it got too warm back there. if we cant keep the bubbler product fresh down there, we will have to pull the bubbler and serve everything from store n pours.  Sick Leave/ Call outs : Andrea called out sick.  Numbers were pretty mellow for a Friday, so we were able to cut her shift and run with four bartenders.  Added to Sick Calendar . Manager Communication: Quiet day in the building all around again. Not much else to report from either bar for the opening and dinner rounds. EA Good evening. Trees picked up with both events and theater crowds.  BAR Staff Observations : Tashi and Matthew opened the bar today and were ready to roll at doors open when I got to the building after the lead meeting. Tashi noticed that the Lemonade in the bubbler was tasting off and after confirming I had them get rid of the product. The jungle bird was still fine. It was only about 2qts that was tossed. BAR Staff Observations : Really great work behind both bars today.  Eliel got some batching done and then floated up to Trees to take over the floor for Trivia around 6:30.  Ian, Lydia, and Tevon crushed service behind the bar at Trees, with plenty of guests in for Trivia and a nearly sold out The Matrix screening in Th1.  Both crowds ordered plenty of drinks throughout the evening, and bar was able to keep up with all orders handily.   As Trivia ended a little later than usual, and Th1 was just about to let out, Tashi was rerouted a little later than usual, so that we could focus on resetting the floor at Trees before Th1 rolled credits.  Tashi did a really great job holding down Lobby solo for the majority of the evening.  Eliel and Ian each clocked out just after eleven, and everyone else closed without issue. Manager Communication: Quiet day in the building. Trees got a pop for Volo's last game of the season and we had a small crowd leading up to the seating of Cool World. Other than that, it was a straight forward day for the bars. EA BAR Staff Observations: Slow day for both bars. Eliel was cut after some batching was done and Ashley stayed through the initial push for Cool World + Volo. Jenna had an easy time in the lobby and closed out on time. Tashi ran the bar and was able to close relatively quickly as well as there was little to no traffic in trees after the screening of Cool World. Manager Communication: Glorious Sunday afternoon. Happy Mother's day all. Super Mario and Hello God, It's Me Margaret continuing to sell very well coupled with a couple pops for Guardians throughout the day. It was quieter toward the end of the night.  BAR Staff Observations:  Andrea and Natasha opened today and we coasting through service when I came in. They let me know that they emptied out all the back ups in the walk in which was perfect timing as Tevon was coming in for his shift, so he headed straight to the prep station. Tevon and Ashley were our mids today and they spent the day supporting their bars until it was evident that the day was not going to pick up anymore and both bars were stocked. They were out shortly after. Manager Communication: Pretty busy morning and afternoon with Return of the King, th6 private and the Trees Birthday party for Emily. The th6 group came down for a round after the screening. EL  BAR Staff Observations: Great openers with Natasha training Lydia at Lobby and Andrea holding down a very busy Trees shift and making it look easy. Natasha got some batching done while Lydia trained with Andrea at Trees. Tashi was a good Mid and after a broken glass and ice burning incident, they got their bar legs and the rest of the shift with me was smooth. EL I was able to get the openers + Lydia out once the bars were restocked and the closers were settled in. Tashi served as our floater between both bars to help navigate the the rushes. Manager Communication : A little quiet at the bar tonight for a Friday. We were able to get prepped up for the weekend and get everyone out realativly early. Manager Communication:  Another beautiful day outside. Unfortunately that meant another quiet start to the day here. The new slushy machine finally arrived today. I set it up on the back bar. I cleaned the old machine and moved it into bar storage. I'll move it farther back on the next trivia for deeper storage once the tables and chairs are out. EA Pretty good evening. Karaoke brought a nice crowd to Trees Lounge. EL BAR Staff Observations: Ashley and Gabrielle opened the building. There was a lot of time for side work, and it helped as a great introductory shift for Lydia. Gabrielle took the time to dial in the thickness of the frozen machine in the lobby. When in Slush, the machines should be set to 3 . That provides the consistency we need that matches our other frozen machine.  Bartenders are not to set at higher numbers for it to "freeze faster." The consistency becomes too thick and then it just trickles out slowly.  Closers Darius and Matthew had good closes tonig...

Manager Communication : Pretty mellow in the theaters, bar service was definitely focused on the event in Th1 and the after-party. JH BAR Staff Observations : No one was able to pick up Maya's shift, so Eliel held down Lobby Bar solo today.  They were a huge help keeping Trees stocked with service-ready Neon Demon during the open bar at Trees, and I was able to send Gabrielle to help them close, once the event at Trees had concluded.  Ashley, Gabrielle, and Tevon absolutely crushed the event.  Morale was up all night, and the event went very smoothly due to a lot of communication and pre-stocking.  Edgar and Nick stayed a little later to help with the initial service push at the bar, and were able to get out of here afterwards.  The crowd dissipated by the time the open bar concluded, so resetting the bar was done well before midnight.  Ashley was able to clean and refill the Strawberry Lemon Slushie hopper that we had commandeered as a Neon Demon backup fo...

Manager Communication: Pretty quiet start for the day. Beautiful weather outside. EA Pretty cool evening. Nice little dinner pops and the last round wasn't too bad. Manager Communication : Pretty busy but smooth morning and afternoon.  The space between load-ins with the long movies up early really helped restock and restock smoothly. EL Ditto on the above. Very Straight forward day with all staff communicating needs clearly. Trees was pretty quiet considering. EA BAR Staff Observations : Natasha and Andrea first up with Tevon and Ashley trailing right behind. All did an excellent job. Natasha did a great job batching. El  It wasn't as busy as anticipated to so I was able to get Natasha out of here after the 6pm Guardians was settled. Maya came in today not feeling too well and said she had a migraine. Rather than have her start at Trees where we were going into several busy rushes, I had Tashi go up to support Ashley and kept Maya down in the lobby until it slowed down at night.  Tashi and Ashley killed it at Trees while Tevon and Maya ran the lobby. Manager Communication : 2001: A Space Odyssey did really well in Th1, and Guardians, while not selling out every showing, kept Th1 & 2 busy for the rest of the day.  Mario continues to get a lot of day of ticket sales, which kept Th3 busy this morning. JH All bars were consistently busy all day with tickets pouring all the way towards the end, but the last round eased up quite a bit and there was very light business at Trees during the dinner and last rounds.  Miguel, Tevon, Ian, and Matthew took their bar quizzes today. I'll grade them tomorrow. Manager Communication: Solid service tonight.  There was a keg of old fashioned that looks like it was made incorrectly. It was very dark and tasted too sweet. We noticed the color right away, so none went out to customers. We set it aside and labeled it do not use. I am going to see if Darius, who made the keg can figure out what he did wrong so we can fix it. Otherwise we will have to dump it.  BAR Staff Observations: Great crew.  FOH Staff Observations: Tray running was really solid tonight, and there seemed to be a lot of designated support.  Prep List : Ian and Tashi batched a ton of stuff tonight to get us ready for the weekend.  Maintenance: The left lowboy in the lobby that has been giving us trouble had standing water in it tonight from condensation. Dio is coming out in the morning to look at the fan and the water drain.

Manager Communication: Mellow day in the building outside of Trivia. Late round tapered off early with even Trivia guests filing out pretty quickly.  BAR Staff Observations: Eliel and Tashi were already in the middle of sidework when I got in. After family meal everyone got ready for Trivia and Eliel took point on the floor while Tashi and Tevon ran the bar. Smooth Trivia night with everyone being very attentive towards guests.  FOH Staff Observations: Shout out to the entire runner team for navigating a full Trivia room. Manager Communication : Pretty mellow day with ticket sales, which gave us time to reset and reorganize after the very busy weekend. JH We couldn't find any paring knifes in the kitchen at all despite dropping a pair off yesterday. Speaking with Mike and John, they told me they would relay the message over to Stewart and Russel regarding upping the par for the knifes so we aren't left without. EA BAR Staff Observations: Easy start for both Ashley and Eliel today. They were finishing up with juicing and garnishing by the time I got in and after some brief batching, I was able to get Ashley out early followed by Eliel not too long after. Jenna and Tashi held down their bars easily especially with a quiet house.  I gave Ashley, Jenna, and Tashi their bar quizzes today. Everyone did well and although there were some errors, I was able to take the time to correct the quizzes and go over it with staff.
