Manager Communication: Another beautiful day outside. Unfortunately that meant another quiet start to the day here.

The new slushy machine finally arrived today. I set it up on the back bar. I cleaned the old machine and moved it into bar storage. I'll move it farther back on the next trivia for deeper storage once the tables and chairs are out. EA

Pretty good evening. Karaoke brought a nice crowd to Trees Lounge. EL

BAR Staff Observations: Ashley and Gabrielle opened the building. There was a lot of time for side work, and it helped as a great introductory shift for Lydia. Gabrielle took the time to dial in the thickness of the frozen machine in the lobby. When in Slush, the machines should be set to 3 . That provides the consistency we need that matches our other frozen machine. 

Bartenders are not to set at higher numbers for it to "freeze faster." The consistency becomes too thick and then it just trickles out slowly. 

Closers Darius and Matthew had good closes tonight. Lydia was cut first and Ashley stayed for the beginning of Karaoke and the Juice and Guardians pushes. EL

Hiring/Training: Lydia on training day 1. She did a Trees opening shift with Ashley today who said she did a great job and is picking up the cocktails quickly. She made a round of the Trees cocktails to get used to how they look and how to make them. The binder was filled with day one notes. EA

Special Events? Karaoke has it's crowd and it's growing. It was nice to have Susan back.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Received the new frozen machine today. EA

Maintenance: The LCD backlight on the new slushy machine went out on the right side. I'm reaching out to Fetco as per the webstaurant warranty sheet on the site. I'm hoping to get an answer soon. The machine is still useable by all means it just makes it harder to see. EA

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
