Saturday 5/13 Eliel y Edgar

Manager Communication: Pretty busy morning and afternoon with Return of the King, th6 private and the Trees Birthday party for Emily. The th6 group came down for a round after the screening. EL 

BAR Staff Observations: Great openers with Natasha training Lydia at Lobby and Andrea holding down a very busy Trees shift and making it look easy. Natasha got some batching done while Lydia trained with Andrea at Trees. Tashi was a good Mid and after a broken glass and ice burning incident, they got their bar legs and the rest of the shift with me was smooth. EL

I was able to get the openers + Lydia out once the bars were restocked and the closers were settled in. Tashi served as our floater between both bars to help navigate the the rushes. After another extensive restock and breaks all around, Tashi was able to get out of here at their normal out time. Miguel settled up the lobby, while Tevon and Matthew ran trees until the end. Great work from the team all around. EA

Hiring/Training: Lydia day two Lobby open with Natasha, Natasha reports that Lydia was very helpful, eager to learn and jump in and got some film bot experience but needs more. Great attitude as well.  Lydia was great under pressure during rushes and helped out like any other bartender. Great shift with Lydia. EA

Special Events? The Birthday at Trees brought a good crowd. Ariel played a little longer as they were enjoying themselves. Cake got cut and they were charged $3 cake fee per person. EL

They had a couple more people join later on so I we got a couple more slices cut before the host closed down the main tab. From what I gathered, they were pretty low key once they got the initial slices of cake done and were very thankful that we could accommodate them. EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: We should discuss when it's appropriate for someone to get a porter and when it's appropriate for folks to clean up their messes. At bar prep when people fill their sani buckets there is often a bit of water spilled on the floor and often I find that people only put down a wet floor sign, don't tell anyone else about it and don't take any other steps to clean.  There have been other occasions when someone leaves a mess for the next person when they aren't very busy. Sometimes even while closing. EL

86ed / counts on items: Del's on a count. Jarritos on a count. 

Prep List: We'll need a keg of negroni at some point tomorrow. Firewalk and Lemonade will need a reup as well. I was gonna gonna have a keg of coffee and cigarettes batched, but couldn't find a bottle of tobacco bitters. I did see a bottle of barrel aged bitters, but wanted to confirm before we attempted to make one. EA
