Monday 5.8.23 Edgar and Eliel
Manager Communication: Pretty quiet start for the day. Beautiful weather outside. EA
Pretty cool evening. Nice little dinner pops and the last round wasn't too bad. EL
BAR Staff Observations: Jenna and Ian opened up the building. Both openers did a bit of prep for their bars. They had to share a paring knife, but both were able to get some garnish done. I emailed Russel and Stewart to see if that had raised the knife pars. Otherwise very smooth open. EA
Closers were great. Easy shift. EL
FOH Staff Observations: Tashi mentioned that it's hard trying to get tasks done towards the end of the night when other staff sit at the bar and demand their attention. EL
Hiring/Training: Lydia had a trail and spent time in both bars. Edgar emailed more info. EL
Prep List: There's a double Junglebird that needs Pineapple Juice in the walk in. Ian didn't realize we didn't have enough for a double until he had already batched everything else. It's labeled on the cambro and I will add 120oz Pineapple juice when it comes in tomorrow. EA

Maintenance: I had some time today to swap out the motors on the cracked frozen machine into a new shell, unfortunately, the motor keeps seizing when trying to freeze. It has already been giving us troubles and I think it is also on its way out. The product keeps freezing, but the auger wont spin. I believe we'll have to bite the bullet until the new machine arrives. Webstaurant says it's still in transit and in Georgia, so hopefully it'll start making moves again soon. EA
