Manager Communication: Busy, busy dinner round.  Trees was nonstop at the service bar from 5:30 until just about 8:00pm. JH. The evening got a little quieter after ten but still had a good vibe to last call. EL

BAR Staff Observations: Ashley, Ian, and Tevon all worked with some of the Skurnik spirits we got in and began to develop some potential summer cocktails. Everyone has seemed really jazzed and motivated about workshopping some stuff after our Lead meeting last Wednesday. JH
Great swift closes from Natasha, Matthew and Ashley. EL

FOH Staff Observations: A reminder to newer server hires to not ask bartenders for a drink while service pass is in the middle of a rush.  They are always welcome to go to the other bar and see if it is any less busy, or wait until there is a lull in service. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: FedEx missed the pick up for the second time this week.  I will reach out to them on Tuesday to see what the issue is. JH

Pay Outs: $ 58.20 (Blue Curaçao) JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: I canceled the blue curaçao order that had yet to ship on Amazon (8 out of 10 bottles).  There is a restaurant supply store in LIC that stocks it and I will just purchase it from there until after the holiday, at which point we can choose to either keep buying it in person, or ordering it directly from Monin. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
