Sunday 5/7 Eliel y Edgar



Manager Communication: Pretty busy but smooth morning and afternoon.  The space between load-ins with the long movies up early really helped restock and restock smoothly. EL

Ditto on the above. Very Straight forward day with all staff communicating needs clearly. Trees was pretty quiet considering. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Natasha and Andrea first up with Tevon and Ashley trailing right behind. All did an excellent job. Natasha did a great job batching. El 

It wasn't as busy as anticipated to so I was able to get Natasha out of here after the 6pm Guardians was settled. Maya came in today not feeling too well and said she had a migraine. Rather than have her start at Trees where we were going into several busy rushes, I had Tashi go up to support Ashley and kept Maya down in the lobby until it slowed down at night. 

Tashi and Ashley killed it at Trees while Tevon and Maya ran the lobby. I was also able to run Tashi through the breakdown and cleaning of the lobby frozen machine. They picked it up and cleaned it very quickly and was out by their scheduled out time. All in all Tashi was super flexible today and was happy to help where they could. 

Maya closed out trees and took care of the frozen machines there. EA

Bar Quizzes were given to Andrea, Natasha, and Maya today. 

FOH Staff Observations: Megan from WB did a great job and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her again!!!
Isabel did a great job training and explaining bar and drink order policy. At one point I saw her trainee come to her with a flag that asked for a martini and She perfectly explained what not to do, the why of it, and how to communicate it to the guest, including alternatives. Wonderful Job! EL

Julianna and Darielle kept the wheel turning at Trees. Great job from them getting trays to the theater! EA

Special Events? 2001 had a great crowd and a few were confused during the intermission. EL

Prep List: Looks like we'll need some Arbol Tequila and Jungle Bird tomorrow, possibly Molasses Syrup as well. 

Maintenance: The holding basket for the remotes is in bar prep. Will add to maintenance log for Juan to put up whenever he can. EA

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
