Wednesday 12/31/25 NYE Gus/Ian

Manager Communication:  Smooth opening -GS Busy screenings today and decent bar crowd. Jeshua and Darius killed it behind the bar at Trees - Charlie was a total pro in the lobby. Excellent work all around. - IP Customer Comments:   Had a disruptive guest who ended up in the Trees women's bathroom, causing a bit of a disturbance there (shout out to Thursdae who alerted me to the situation) - I let Rebecca know, and she and Dwight escorted her out of the theater safely and soundly. - IP BAR Staff Observations:  I pushed back Jeshua, called Charlie in early and pushed Darius back slightly. My goal is to have everyone work around 6.5 hours today. Keep things tight.  -GS Charlie took the open shift tomorrow and I changed some peoples in-times. We should be set and ready to rock for Marty/Stranger Things. Mission accomplished on shift times. Got everyone out at 6.5 hours or less. Jeshua made sure Darius was set to be able to skate outta here right when it was quittin'...

Tuesday 12.30.25 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication: Solid crew to open. Easy. Busy Th. 1, but we handled it. Good vibes -GS Stayed busy all night. Marty continues to be supreme. People definitely getting their end of year hangs and drinking done. Gus got us up to speed with stock levels for the day and we should be good for tomorrow too! - IP Customer Comments: Trees was buzzin'.-GS BAR Staff Observations: Tevon and Greg are pros -GS Whole team crushed. Tevon and Greg stayed through the last sold out theater 1 (and very busy Trees lounge) and got out of here by 9:30. After they left I hopped back there and Patrick and I handled the end of the night push. We noticed a dearth of Collins glasses - if short tomorrow morning, we should break open a new box. Lydia cruised through a busy lobby shift - really great work. - IP FOH Staff Observations: Really great vibes today. -GS Agreed. Sam is a delight to work with. - IP 86ed / counts on items: Dream Big - 38 -- will need to batch more tomorrow most likely. I Am the ...

Monday 12/29/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  I ordered a pastry bag clip set and a pair of sharp scissors to cut the pastry bag for filling the squeeze bottles for the Menta cream. If anyone wants a tutorial on this stuff I am happy to show you. Makes it a bit easier and less messy. -LB I broke out the last two new Bunn airpots for coffee. I tossed the one that was leaking constantly as it was fully dead. -LB The soda guns all seem slow and foamy. I will revisit Coke to come back in the New Year. -LB I am going to do the schedule from home whenever it comes out, taking my work laptop. -LB Natasha and Nia were requesting smaller finger cots, unsure if this is a request we can make with our first aid replenishment company or if we would have to order them ourselves.-LB Soda guns continue to pour slowly, but never put too much of a hitch in service. Coffee upkeep has been great - bar team is really doing a wonderful job of keeping the fresh hot coffee flowing. Good communication on the whole today betwee...

Sunday 12.28.25 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:  Jenn is an absolute BOSS. Handled a crazy busy morning and got me up to speed (AND managed to keep our drinks stocked up). The handoff was seamless thanks to her - much appreciated, as it continued to be a busy one! - IP BAR Staff Observations: Natasha was an absolute champ down in lobby today, working solo until everyone had a chance to grab family meal.  Greg and Nia held down Trees, but there were definitely some bumps in the road, particularly when both the bar and service pass were busy.  In general, some opening bartenders are still not getting ahead of unloading glassware during their open/first round, even when prompted by a manager once doors are open.  I will include a note in this week's email about the importance of not leaving mega stacks lingering until the second round begins. Greg absolutely bodied sold out service pass rushes solo, and Nia is definitely getting better but she can still be more than a little disorganized when f...

Saturday 12.27.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: This business would not function without the excellence and diligence of every hourly employee. The servers and bar team handled a lot of pivots today. Every floor manager was in a million directions. Dwight in the lobby.  Projectionists hustling to try and find solutions wherever they could. Impressive heart by all.-LB The bar team has expressed happiness with my accidental purchase of the 56 oz OJ, since it fits in the service well inserts without issue. I will stock this size unless any of you have a reasonable objection.-LB Customer Comments: Unfortunately one set of customers were moved to the front row of theater 4 for No Other Choice despite purchasing a far back seat in theater 2. I could not swap them with anyone so I refunded the amount. I gave them two passes and offered them a round at Trees.  I suspect films with subtitles the distance from screen is more relevant to some guests. -LB BAR Staff Observations: Greg and Natasha made sure to do a...

Friday / 12.26.25 / Lauren & Ariel / NPP Bar

Manager Communication : The Bounty Law is getting low, so Ariel will rinse that chamber tonight after we unload whatever we can.-LB I cleaned it out and took the 2qts left to the walk in. - AB2 I took 1 BTL of Byrrh and 3 BTLS of Amaro Dell'Etna for NWB. - AB2 Customer Comments: We had a decent amount of people that did not like Marty Sup, and asked for the bill early. Not a huge note but something to be mindful of. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations : Greg and Tevon cranked it out the early rounds. Natasha helped carry us through the afternoon, very sleepy. Cut Greg at 4 and will push T out the door as soon as openers are in sight.-LB I was able to get Natasha out of here after the dinner round settled. I was very pleased with Charlie today. Homie is developing good habits and has a nice attitude. He needs minor coaching from time to time but really appreciate the bartender he is turning into. - AB2  Sick Leave/ Call outs: Tomorrow's numbers are lackluster, keep an eye on sales/sno...

12.25.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Marty Supreme is selling great, and some of our older releases are really filling up the smaller theaters.  Pretty mellow at Trees for the most part, but theater service kept both bars bopping throughout service.  Right before the start of the third round, Trees definitely filled up, which was well timed with out closers. JH Vibes were good, didn't quite have the holiday feels, but were busy throughout the evening. Very steady schedule for the rushes.-LB Customer Comments: A man complained about the Trees Men's room being mostly out of service.  I do think all the bathrooms could use a little TLC in the hardware department.-LB BAR Staff Observations:  Greg and Natasha made opening a breeze and Matthew arrived just before we opened doors.  Service pushes, especially with the larger theaters, were really well spaced out, especially considering how many screenings swapped theaters.  Gave each bar plenty of time to reset and restoc...

X-Mas Eve Gus/Gus

Manager Communication: Solid teamwork to open. James and I handled the floor and bar respectively. Dion came in and was a solid mid and then Carly closed thing out. Dreams. Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Matthew and Lydia opened. Jeshua was in early for the busy Zootopia screening. We pushed back Charlie. FOH Staff Observations: Everyone was really in good spirits today Prep List: I did a considerable amount of batching. We have the following in the walk in: 5 FWWM (meant to only have 4, whoops) 5 Lemonade 1.66 Batches of Fro Coke 1 Holy Mountain I made a cosmo and OF keg Mobilebytes Issues: Not sure if I would classify this as Molbilebytes or hardware, but the lobby GC reader wouldn't read. We reset it and it was fine, but something to note. Filmbot Issues:

Tuesday 10/23 Gus & Ian

Manager Communication:   Gil and I opened. Pretty sleepy. Lots of cuts all round.-GS Gus took care of batching us up and Jared, Dion and I held down a very chill Christmas Eve Eve. - IP BAR Staff Observations:   Charlie came in and made sure we were good to go on garnish.-GS  Ran light today with Lyd, Chuck and Ser Collins. Was a very relaxed day and the team crushed. Christmas movies were on at Trees and good cheer was in the air! Charlie pulled the long lobby and I was able to get him out of here right at 10p, then I finished closing up. - IP FOH Staff Observations:   Sara is always hustling. Jay is super reliable. Monica rules. - IP Staff Meeting Agenda notes: HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! - the Bar Team 86ed / counts on items:  Dream Big: 65 I Am the Fire: 118 - IP Prep List:   Prepped Margarita keg, Irish Coffee Cream.-GS Made more simple - only thing that may need to be made tomorrow is more FroCo - otherwise we are stocked and rocked. - IP Ordering/Receiving/Sh...

Monday 12/22 Gus & Ian

Manager Communication:  Pretty sleepy Monday. Opened without a hitch. There was a small gathering at Trees. We rocked that out. Made cuts to the bar, doing 3 bartenders tonight and 3 tomorrow. -GS Cuts were effective and we were able to rock the slow service with little difficulty. Got things ready to go for tomorrow and will make sure everything is super prepped for Xmas eve and Xmas. - IP Customer Comments:   Chenelle's PS107 group were so nice. -GS The aforementioned Party tab was paid in cash according to the Trees checkout, and the expected drop was $1600, but we didn't have nearly that much. I'm assuming it was taken care of by Chenelle, just wanted to note it here. - IP BAR Staff Observations:   Greg and Tevon are champs.-GS Got Tevon out a little before 10p and held down the lobby til I could bring the gate down. Jeshua is a machine at Trees and didn't need any assistance with the crowd for the Anime screening, so I finished closing up the lobby. - IP FOH Staff ...

Sunday 12.21.2025 Ian & Lauren

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up. Greg and Tevon got Trees and Lobby opened. Sales after the Xmas screening are sleepy, so I pushed Patrick's in-time back an hour to 3:15 - better to be able to hang onto him a little later than have him twiddle his thumbs for a slow afternoon. - IP If it is known ahead of time that we don't have a closing security guard, it would be helpful if that was communicated to the closing managers.-LB I observed a number of big restocks this weekend and I do believe there will be extensive traffic caused by the restocks in the new dumbwaiter area. The prep table is mostly out of use and the bar team has to schlep full Cambros of liquid back and forth. I think getting a table for transferring beverages into store and pours either in the walk-in or right outside is a prudent choice. -LB BAR Staff Observations: Very chill day. Everyone helping each other out. -LB FOH Staff Observations: Sara working hard. Dan and Rob getting the hang of it her...

Saturday 12.20.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: Natasha wanted to get cut tomorrow and convinced Tevon to come in an hour earlier than his mid shift at 10:30. He will be set up in time since Jeshua will be sure to stock lobby tonight. Ian, keep an eye on the midday numbers for Patrick, and just help Greg through the It's A Wonderful Life binge drinking crowd. -LB Employee of the Season Jeshua fixed the lobby bar gate. -LB BAR Staff Observations:  Did a little schedule do-si-do'ing this morning, details of which are below.  Gabrielle and Natasha were great at getting set up for doors, and Charlie arrived just as service began.  It's a Wonderful Life was definitely the main focus of the first round, alongside a nearly-sold out Arthur Christmas in Th4 following close behind.   Service ran smoothly, and during the lulls Charlie was able to get a break, both bars were restocked + reset, and Natasha was able to get some batching done.  Once Greg got in, I got Gabrielle out of here and...

Friday 12.19.25 Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication: Today was slow city. As soon as the closers came in today, I got openers out of here and even with that, we still were a bit over staffed. I was also able to get Matthew out of here after last round settled and Natasha closed solo. CUTS FOR TOMORROW - Looking at numbers for tomorrow, it is not very busy and does not require 5 different bartenders in Trees and I think we can cut 2 people total. I think we can rock out the following... TREES - Natasha do her open (9am) - TH2 & TH4 are the only busy theaters and I think she can rock that solo, with help from a bar MOD - Cut Charlie's Shift (AM) - Keep Greg's shift (2:15pm-10:15pm) - Cut one of the Tree's closer's (Matthew or Lydia) and have the one that stays come in at 4:45PM and close solo. LOBBY - I think nothing needs to be touched. - AB2 All menu's labeled "Old Menu's" in the liquor room were pulled out and I threw all the paper away and have em as bare menu's in the c...

Thursday 12.18 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Mellow first round to start the day, but that left ample time to prep for this evening's events and put away a bunch of deliveries. JH Boxes of glassware arrived, Jenn did a lot of heavy lifting today so they are still boxed on bar prep area. We are both unsure how to roll them out. The food donations will be dropped off tomorrow by Lydia with the help of Ariel. -LB BAR Staff Observations: Natasha and Matthew made quick work of the party together and the pre-Batman rush. Greg held down a busy lobby-LB FOH Staff Observations: Runners rolled with the punches navigating through the party. Erech is an absolute gem helping me break down the party. Not a surprise there at all. -LB Special Events? Batman Returns and 14th Street holiday party.  The holiday party close out was wonky because I didn't know he would pay with a check and he had a check written for an amount that didn't cover the food. He wanted the soft drinks separately. So I processed the amou...

Wednesday 12/17/25 Lauren JEnn

Manager Communication:  Anyone know why there was a quarter full bag in box of Coke in the Trees Soda closet? -LB Pretty sedate saleswise, but Trees was bumping all the way up until 11:30pm, which kept bar team well occupied during any lulls at the service pass. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Mellow day throughout the building, so Matthew got out of here shortly after Gabrielle got in.  Tevon stuck around to get both bars restocked and lend Gabrielle a hand before Th7 opened up for the special screening this evening.  Once third round kicked off, it was a pretty simple stroll to close and both Gabrielle and Patrick closed each bar without issue. JH Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Keep an eye under the glasswasher at Trees, as it is a prime location to become a rollie graveyard.  Now that the extra racks are hanging from their hooks, there is more space down there and it is very easy for the rollies to pile up and be missed by servers setting up their theaters. JH...

Tuesday 12/16/25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:   Every rep stopped by today. KCBC, Milagro, Three's, someone else. Tis the season.-LB Last Trivia of the year! Otherwise very chill throughout the building. I wrote up and uploaded the build/batch sheet for "I Am the Fire" (the Avatar drink), and Gus got the COGS nailed down. Then I got a jump on some syrup making as the trivia team was firing on all cylinders. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Trivia team is Aces. Charlie swung upstairs and helped out behind the bar for the initial Trivia rush, then back down to close lobby and get Lydia out of here. - IP Special Events?   Last Trivia of 2025 and it went out with a bang! Good crowd, team handled it like the pros they are. - IP Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Staff meeting was nice today. Chatted about staffing levels and upcoming movies. - IP 86ed / counts on items: Heart's Desire is almost out - made one final batch of Forest Witch, which will ride off into the sunset arm in arm with Obsessulated, to...

Monday 12.15.25 / Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Coke never called me about the soda guns. If anyone else heard anything. I suspect they will drag their feet on this equipment replacement.-LB Ariel did some clearing out of bottles at both bars we don't have on the menu, I am going to bring a Lillet or saler's so they can make Vesper martinis.-LB Please don't store juice in the liquor room lowboy.-LB As the ongoing transition of the new dumbwaiter space, I think we should communicate to the porter team we might have the garbage and recycling cans in the liquor rooms at times. I will bring down tonight's stuff but I think Markenson missed it (not his fault). -LB The food drive has finished we collected 10 liquor boxes full of dry goods. Will get them out of the building by Friday, if not sooner. -LB Customer Comments: Getting great customer feedback on the Holy Mountain and Desperado, really groovy winter drinks.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Had Nia's 90 day check-in. Email about that sent. Tev...

Sunday 12.14.2025 Ian/Gus

Manager Communication: Sold out Elf and private screening in th 7 to open the day. Wyatt and I got the building set up and Raekwon handled setting up theater 7.  Solid night crew. Ian left a very concise list of what was needed for the bar. Jared and Dion rocked out the floor. Very chill vibes all around Customer Comments: Trees was bumping for most of the night. Jeshua was connecting with a few guests. Some servers were hanging out. It was really great to see. The bar was alive for most of the night.  BAR Staff Observations: Nat and Greg opened. Patrick came in at 10:30. Sales are mellow this evening, so we decided to cut Charlie and have Nia work the lobby close.  Nia worked the lobby solo tonight. She was asking about cocktails and getting ahead of her close. Making strides. I appreciate how  FOH Staff Observations: Katherine was really on it tonight.  Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: We cut Charlie cause it was slow. Pushed Nia back an hour and had h...

Saturday 12/13/25 Gus & Ian

Manager Communication:  Solid open. Busy first round in theater 2 & 3. Was fine though. Handled. Chilly, snowy Saturday night. Ticket sales were relatively tame, but Trees stayed busy with the inclement weather. Team did a great job all night. - IP BAR Staff Observations:   Matthew and Greg opened the building. Very seamless day.  Charlie is excellent. Staffing was wonky today with Lydia being out, so we had the openers out ASAP, and Gab shortly thereafter, so Charlie and Nia handled the bulk of the Saturday night crowd on their own. Charlie really took charge and was thinking two steps ahead the whole time - it was really awesome to see - he's turning into quite a good bartender. Jeshua had a nice and easy night in the lobby. - IP FOH Staff Observations: Siete is great. Always helps out at the dish pit and is such a positive presence. - IP Sick Leave/ Call outs:   Lydia called out sick.  Pushed back Gabreille a bit and Nia one hour. 86ed / counts on items: ...

Menu Change Day 12.12.25 Ian/Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication: Ian and I banged out menu change. I banged out inventory -GS I printed the Holy Mountain, Desperado, & NH Irish Coffee in the Barbinder. Every other page was already updated. - AB2 Customer Comments: Nice little pop from 4:30-7. -GS BAR Staff Observations: Matthew and Tevon are pros. Love those dudes -GS Gabrielle and Natasha were fantastic tonight. Absolutely crushed it. Matthew was awesome today. Making sure everyone was stocked and good to go before he left. - AB2 FOH Staff Observations: Sick Leave/ Call outs: Greg called out cause he is sick, I filled the shift with Charlie and then cut him cause it wasn't busy. Sigh. -GS Special Events: PSP Babyfest! They were chill per usual Staff Meeting Agenda notes: I think we need to have more of a priority making cuts for bartenders on slower days. I added to meeting agenda and down to speak on it in the next meeting. - AB2 86ed / counts on items: Heart's Desire is very low. Not sure if y'all want ...

Thursday 12/11/2025 Ian/Gus

Manager Communication: Relaxed day today. Jess, Gil and I opened up the building - Tevon and Gab were our intrepid openers. Took advantage of the afternoon to get us ahead on some stuff for menu change tomorrow, and worked out what I think is going to be a pretty awesome special for Avatar. - IP Really relaxed night, the Trees half was managed very well and the host left happy. Lovely night. Customer Comments:  BAR Staff Observations: Worked on a "Lava Flow" inspired cocktail for Avatar. Gonna call it "I Am the Fire". Gonna help to clear out some of the rum stock we have sitting in the liquor room. - IP Prep List: We should be all prepped for menu change tomorrow - we have Holy Mountain and desperado batched (and I made more mulled wine syrup a Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Union beer tomorrow, MS Walker. Maintenance: Mobilebytes Issues: Filmbot Issues:

Wednesday 12/10/25 Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:   I put in a service request ( 35067998  ) with coke to replace the two main soda guns at Trees lounge.  They are both pretty ragged, so hopefully they are amenable to this.-LB Please keep an eye on the food donations in the lobby while I am on PTO. There are more boxes under the table with the already packed boxes.-LB  The event at Trees definitely dominated my attention this evening, but service overall was pretty mellow.  The Trees service pass always had hands, and the bar team was able to roll with the changes made before and during the event (thank you Chenelle + Raekwon for being so on top of everything and making this event a breeze!). JH BAR Staff Observations:  Matthew stayed busy with side work ahead of the big party. -LB  Absolute dream team, as expected.  Jeshua and Tevon dealt with a busy lobby crowd once Trees was closed for the event, and once Tevon got out of here Jeshua held it down solo for the rest of the...

Tuesday 12/9 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:   It was noted to Darius at Lobby bar that a person named Sheri Silverstein will be having a Christmas Party at Trees Monday 7:30pm for about 40-50 people. She provided her phone and email in case but she just wanted to give us a heads up. 917-951-7305 Sheri.b.silverstein@gmail.com-LB I opened the bag that was thought to be wreaths, it is some garland and a small Christmas tree thing. I put the tree in the window downstairs. Put up more decals around Trees and lobby. The garland is in the black garbage bag above, but I think it is too late since I put up the lights, but good to know for next year. -LB I got inspired and Ian helped me put up the other strand of lights on Connie, delicately for her growth.  We also put up snowflakes and some film garland.  Looks quite festive in the building. -LB MURPHY CHRIMBUS EVERYONE! Trees and the lobby look awesome - getting very excited for the holiday push! - IP BAR Staff Observations:   Chill night. Real...

Monday / 12.8.25 / Ariel, Lauren, & Ian / NPP Bar

Manager Communication:  Everything was fresh-AB2 Going into this menu change ready for it all.-LB Seeing the synergy between the bar managers today, chatting about menu change and task allocation was great. Nice to be a part of a team that can communicate and produce effectively. Awesome stuff. On the floor, Dion and LaShae were fantastic tonight. - IP Customer Comments: A guest vomited on the mezzanine around 10p - I escorted her and her boyfriend out without incident and Markenson (an angel on this earth) took care of the mess upstairs. The smell was particularly pungent, so LaShae did some cursory air-freshener spritzes to help neutralize the abhorrent odor - but if it's a li'l funky in Trees tomorrow morning, that is the reason - and some extra odor neutralizers or air fresheners will hopefully do the trick. - IP Almost out of the woods and then a guest in theater 5 fell and hit her head, bleeding all over the theater. We called the paramedics who came quickly and got the s...

Saturday 12/7/2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Carly and I opened up. No notes. Got check-in station set up in the lobby for the event in theater 4. - IP Got to make sure the openers cut enough fruit, has been shy of needs the last two days-LB Pretty good Sunday dinner round into a mellower evening.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Matt and Nat opened up. Super set for the day. Matt has to leave by 4, but we'll have both mids in by then and will be cruisin'. Nia showed up ready to rock today! Jumped right into service and seems to be very focused. Great to see! - IP FOH Staff Observations: Brea and Monica are a great team. They're excellent about divvying up their responsibilities during rushes. Awesome example for the new servers. - IP Every single I time I have been in the kitchen tonight, runners have been engaged in active side work. -LB  Prep List: Obsessulated will need to be batched - we have roughly 30 at the moment. - IP  Made two lemonades, and more unsweetened tea - might need some more FWWM,...

Saturday 12.06.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  There are two racks of glassware in the liquor room. If there is a shortage of racks we can pack the glassware into boxes.-LB A gushing review for Ian: "Compliments to the bartender. I come here often and try to always order the complimentary food/drink offering and the Daughter of a Forest Witch is by far the best cocktail that I've had that encapsulated the theme into a drink. The storytelling of the cocktail is enchanting. Thank you for adding to my Hamnet experience."  I will leave this in the liquor room for admiring eyes. I love when people get the intention and I know Ian will (should) be very pleased.-LB Closed out a wall of shame that was labeled Greg, but was actually George who actively sought me out to do so.-LB Ryan and OB are on the wall of shame. I saw OB still in their theater, but did not know they were in the building, if servers ordered through their own terminal they would never not pay their tab, just saying. -LB BAR Staff Obse...

Friday 12.05.25 Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication: Tree's Bar POS Printer on the far side (Closest to bathrooms) was not printing anything. I first checked for printer paper, I turned off then on the printer, I exited the app, I switched the printer to print to a different one and then added it back to the main printer and still nothing. I routed that printer and everything from that POS will print to the main POS printer that is in the middle of the bar. I sent that information to Matthew Soler to send to the Bartenders chat so everyone will be in the know. I do believe we will need a new one but also down to look into it on Monday in case we can save the printer and in case there is something I am missing. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Tevon got out on the earlier side of things. I got Patrick out after the final round slowed a bit. Matthew and Charlie did their thing. The event made things busy for the bar team on top of a steady crowd at Tree's and the busy theater rounds. Twas a good night. - AB2 Sic...

Thursday 12.04.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication:  Another very mellow opening round, with the smaller theaters filling up for the dinner round. JH Customer Comments: The barista team from Winner in the Park came in. I recognized them had Tevon and Gabrielle take extra good care of them. They had a blast and apparently invited Tevon and Gabrielle to come by for end of day pastries.  Happy to see the team making connections with other service professionals in the area. Especially ones that see a high volume of neighborhood people every day. BAR Staff Observations:  Dream team opening both bars (Gabrielle + Matthew), and they both sailed through the first round. JH FOH Staff Observations: Justin is great. Hard worker, great attitude. Special Events Spoons 86ed / counts on items: Bedrock Spritz- we are changing the drinks for 2026, so this is great! Prep List: Jenn batched a ton, I made an Obsessulated batch. Tevon is going to come in for a short batch shift because his plans changed and he is avail...

Wednesday 12/3/2025 Ian/Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Definitely a change of pace from the weekend, but Zootopia screenings have continued to sell really well.  Busy pops around the building throughout the night, but we never felt squeezed for hands. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Easygoing day, with both Matthew and Tevon able to get out of here once the second round had settled down.  Nia held down Lobby all evening with almost no calls for assistance, and made quick work of closing everything down once she was routed.  Gabrielle, our Wednesday Night Closing Champion, navigated a pretty busy bar crowd from 10-11, with the evening winding down shortly after that. JH Special Events?  FOFIF screening in Th2 went well, very close to sold out.  The Q&A ran a little long, so I hopped behind the bar with Gabrielle to help with the sudden influx of guests once they got out of the theater.  JH Prep List:  I have a small list to get through tomorrow morning, but nothing too cra...

Tuesday 12/2/25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:    I decorated a bit more. If anyone wants to add to the eclectic holiday spirit, there is more stuff in bar storage.  I ordered more batteries for the garlands in the lobby.  There are wreaths that could be hung in the lobby window, however I am off the next three days. -LB Tevon asked if he could have the batch shift off this Friday and I said that would be fine. I erased the shift off of 7shifts. Just keep an eye on product levels ahead of the weekend.-LB We used the printed drink tickets tonight for Trivia since they need a whopping 17 tokens and it seemed like we didn't want to part with that many.  Happy to go with whatever decision on this we land on. -LB Barely felt the shorthanded-ness this evening because the bar team is Aces. Dion was awesome tonight and did a great job guiding Rebecca (who is going to be an awesome manager). Events kept us busy tonight - otherwise it was a relatively easy evening. - IP BAR Staff Observations: ...

Monday 12.1.25 / Ariel, Lauren, & Ian / NPP Bar

Manager Communication:  I moved the FF glassware to various liquor boxes that are under the runners table. I also brought the rack of coupes out from the liquor room and packed up the rack of pilsner glasses that was in the back. This has availed 6 new dish racks.  The blue ones are slightly heavier but will due until we slow down.-LB  I put up some Christmas lights at Trees. There are two boxes of lights in the closet that might have been downstairs last year, happy to put them up wherever tomorrow. -LB Did some fun R&D for new Spoons cocktails, brainstorming with each other always brings out the best ideas. Excited to revamp stuff. -LB Seconded for the Spoons R&D. I made a Captain Crunch Simple Syrup. I love my job. - IP Ariel and Lauren got us caught up on a bunch of stuff - and the Holiday decor is starting to look lovely. Sleepy day aside from No Budge. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Greg and Patrick are great as usual. Lydia and Nia held down lobby bar and did...
