Manager Communication:  There are two racks of glassware in the liquor room. If there is a shortage of racks we can pack the glassware into boxes.-LB

A gushing review for Ian: "Compliments to the bartender. I come here often and try to always order the complimentary food/drink offering and the Daughter of a Forest Witch is by far the best cocktail that I've had that encapsulated the theme into a drink. The storytelling of the cocktail is enchanting. Thank you for adding to my Hamnet experience."  I will leave this in the liquor room for admiring eyes. I love when people get the intention and I know Ian will (should) be very pleased.-LB

Closed out a wall of shame that was labeled Greg, but was actually George who actively sought me out to do so.-LB

Ryan and OB are on the wall of shame. I saw OB still in their theater, but did not know they were in the building, if servers ordered through their own terminal they would never not pay their tab, just saying. -LB

BAR Staff Observations: 

Lydia and Matthew set up each bar for success this morning, and Gabrielle got in just as ST&B began their festivities.  Definitely had a couple of busy screenings in the first two rounds, but was able to move folks around to cover for breaks and restocks throughout. JH

Charlie got his write-up.-LB 

Bar team really carried each other today down a person. They are extraordinary.-LB



Sick Leave/ Call outs: 

Tevon was out sick.  He communicated with myself and Ariel (as well as bar team) well in advance, so we were able to adjust.  Matthew opened Trees and I had Gabrielle come in at 12:00pm instead of 2:30pm, but all closing shifts were left as they were.  Shifts were marked + updated on 7Shifts. JH

Special Events? 

Mezz party went okay.  Wyatt really held it down in the theater and brought the whole group up to the Mezz once the movie ended.  Myself, Jeremy, + Rebecca set Mezz up and the party people were very happy. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 

Just echoing Rebecca's note from the FOH Blog, re: to go orders.  I agree that reducing to go offering tos just popcorn makes the most sense.  A sign in Lobby stating so would also be greatly appreciated by bartenders + managers. JH


Prep List: 

Made a couple of Fire Walks + Iced Tea + Lemonades. JH

Made  a double batch of forest witch since Trees supply went low. We are stocked on this for a while. Simple Syrup.-LB

I think we should stop making Bounty law and let it run down to menu change.-LB

I batched a Demerara syrup, an OF keg that can be poured into the keg that kicks. Ariel, can we do some detective work on that other keg Monday, figure out if we need to replace it.-LB

Maintenance: 

Trees ice machine still doing the Saturday shutdown shuffle, but was making ice without issue from 3:00pm onwards. JH

The service well at Trees is still draining at a snail's pace. I think that Juan needs to snake this drain.-LB



Filmbot Issues: A very grumpy old couple insisted on a refund for their second row theater 5 seats. There was not really another option for them as they were as bad as it gets with insisting on seats that weren't "in the screen." -LB
