Manager Communication:
Wyatt and I opened up. Greg and Tevon got Trees and Lobby opened. Sales after the Xmas screening are sleepy, so I pushed Patrick's in-time back an hour to 3:15 - better to be able to hang onto him a little later than have him twiddle his thumbs for a slow afternoon. - IP
If it is known ahead of time that we don't have a closing security guard, it would be helpful if that was communicated to the closing managers.-LB
I observed a number of big restocks this weekend and I do believe there will be extensive traffic caused by the restocks in the new dumbwaiter area. The prep table is mostly out of use and the bar team has to schlep full Cambros of liquid back and forth. I think getting a table for transferring beverages into store and pours either in the walk-in or right outside is a prudent choice. -LB



BAR Staff Observations: Very chill day. Everyone helping each other out. -LB

FOH Staff Observations: Sara working hard. Dan and Rob getting the hang of it here at NPP.  Jason and Justin, Erech and all the runners working hard. -LB


 
Sick Leave/ Call outs: Natasha got cut due to sales last night. -LB


86ed / counts on items: I cleaned out the walk-in of some old stuff and I think we should prepare to replace Naturelle and Dancin' at the Disco. I will work on some and Charlie has one in the works.-LB

Prep List:
Reset the walk-in when I got in - going to get more Arbol tequila and horchata steeping, and also make some Marty Supreme special. - IP
I clarified Obsessulated and  Heart's desire.  Made 2 quarts each honey lemon syrup for each bar.
 4 Lemonades. Went to make Bloody mix but short a can, will arrive tomorrow. I am shortening Tevon batch shift since I got some of it done. Will be well stocked for the holiday business. -LB
I made a big mix of Kahlua and Jameson for Trees.-LB

R&D comp checks: rang in 8.88 in R&D for spoons toons yesterday forgot to blog. 
75.64 Spice world spillage. 


Lost & Found?:
Glenda Ernst (646-234-4928) - her daughter lost her purple hat and pink gloves at the 12:15 Spongebob in theater 1. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US foods tomorrow. US foods soda replenishment in for Friday.
 Baldor tomorrow  and I have an order building for Friday that I can put in on Thursday.-LB

Maintenance: I washed the bar prep bar mats.  I also deep-cleaned the outside of one of the Negroni kegs. Please use the yellow brush and clean the outside of these kegs too. Getting spores knocked out prevent more sports from forming. Thanks. -LB
Charlie noted Lobby bar smelling musty again today so I grabbed a bottle of bleach and he hit all the drains before he burned his ice wells, hopefully that knocks it out. -LB

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
