Sunday 11/30/2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Zootopia and Wicked alternating body blows, but this team just keeps on truckin'. Wyatt and I opened everything up - staffed well, and ready for the onslaught.  There was a snafu with Patrick's in-time today - we connected via text and got everything situated. Had him report at 2p so that he could jump right into the rush for the sold out 1:45 Wicked in theater 1 (I updated everything accordingly in 7Shifts). - IP Around the time we 86'd brunch, Wyatt informed me that Chef Stewart discovered the hot water for the building was kaput. We are continuing to run glassware through the Trees dishpit, and I have been pouring sani buckets full of hot water from the Tea spigot into the cold solution of chemicals. Best band-aid I could muster given the business level. More below in maintenance. - IP Unpacked and rehoused some residents of Booze Island.-LB Customer Comments: A group from Theater 2 6:30pm Wicked came out and asked me to adjust their check since t...

Saturday 11.29.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Steady day, but service never got too overwhelming during the first two rounds.  Screenings continue to be spaced out in a way that really helps us keep up with glassware turnover, which I don't believe has been an issue at all these past few days.  It's definitely getting colder out there, so we are definitely seeing an uptick in post-screening discussion groups hanging around Trees, which has been nice. JH Everyone that works here has hustled in tandem so wonderfully this busy weekend. Clockwork.-LB Customer Comments:  (Apologies for the long explanation)  There was a guest who I spoke with around 4:30pm in the Lobby who had a very disappointing experience at Trees Lounge this afternoon.  Basically, she found the service at Trees to be disappointingly brusque and rude (at the time Greg, Matthew, & Natasha were up there, and I believe she interacted with all of them at some point).  As a regular guest, she noted that she ha...

Friday: 11/28/25 Jenn, Gus & Lauren

Manager Communication: Gil and I opened the building. Stewart was in the kitchen. Opening team was loaded with talent. Smooth. Chill Friday vibes. Gab crushed lobby. Brought the extra space heater down there from the MOD office. -LB We may have more of the too wide paper for the printers. While doing their checkout it stopped printing, this is after I got them fresh rolls to print an auth form earlier. Something to keep an eye on.-LB Customer Comments: A couple was changing their child in the 3/5 hallway today on some sort of stroller bassinet thing, when I was arriving. I had not yet put my stuff away and didn't want to interject in the moment. Can I assume we have a bathroom stuff in bathrooms only policy even for infants?  This seems to be a recurring grossness.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Tevon and Matthew are just pros. Natasha got in a little early which was welcome for the dinner rushes and the children everywhere.-LB Matthew helped relieve everyone to eat, Charlie being th...

Thursday 11.27 Jenn/Gus Thanksgiving :D

Manager Communication: Solid team tonight. Everyone was in really great spirits. BAR Staff Observations: Got some compliments about Patrick from James and Dion. He really crushed it this morning. -GS FOH Staff Observations: Lanie is really a pleasure to work with. She keeps things light and is shows great teamwork. -GS Prep List:  Was able to knock out a bunch of prep before doors: Iced Tea, Margarita keg, Negroni keg, Old Fashioned keg, Obsessulated, & Simple Syrup. JH Made a Mr. & Mrs. Tom Collins Keg, Jenn did a bunch more stuff  -GS

Wednesday 11/26/2025 Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Busy morning! Got the US Foods order all packed away, then maintained all the frozen machines and bubblers. Jared got all the other odds and ends set up and after everything was cleaned and tucked away, I got the COGS and build sheets for the Hamnet special all figured out and uploaded to the appropriate folders in the drive.  Thanksgiving Eve gonna be a busy one. Wicked is packing the big theaters and Zootopia is taking over the ground floor. I think Hamnet is going to do good business too. - IP Certainly was busy, with Wicked continuing to fill up both big theaters throughout the night.  Zootopia and Hamnet also filled up the smaller theaters easily, and it seems llike tomorrow's sales look similar. JH Customer Comments:  A guest stopped by Lobby to ask if she would be able to have one of our Wicked posters once we no longer need them.  I believe this is the same woman from last year, and will make sure to touch base with Projection to se...

Tuesday 11/25/25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Game plans for busy days all around. Feeling prepared for the fun holiday weekend.-LB The rain bumped the numbers up and brought in some odd guests. Lots of calls in theaters tonight, but Dion and Jared were, as always, up to the task. Smooth night. - IP Locked down the Hamnet special!! Sent the breakdown to Gus and we're gonna roll it out ASAP - COGS are done, in Lauren's Fall COGS document in the drive. It is delicious - and shout out to Gab for the crowning suggestion of the Santoni Rhubarb Amaro. - IP BAR Staff Observations:   Jeshua and Gab handled a very busy bar at Trees, lots of campers dodging the rain. Game ball goes to Gab who pulled a long one and handled the service rushes while Jeshua was stirring and shaking. Greg and Lydia had a very relaxed evening as far as drink service, but as I mentioned before - something was in the air tonight, and there were some odd ducks traipsing through the lobby. - IP FOH Staff Observations: Erika rocks. Never...

Monday / 11.24.25 / Ariel & Ian / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: The little waters for the event tomorrow morning are in the bar walk-in. They are right in front where the Phony Negroni's have been living. Can't miss em'. - AB2 Ariel and the crew had everything set and ready by the time I got in. Wicked continues its reign; Bar team and Server team continue to crush; all around it seems like people are really locking in - it's really great to see. - IP Customer Comments: Had an impromptu birthday party on the mezz with an outside cake - they were super cool about the fee and the no candles policy. They had a great time, and all was well. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Greg and Lydia opened like champs per usual. - AB2 Nia handled some pretty deep Nitehawk ticketing questions and seems to be getting the hang of Filmbot and is doing a good job of directing traffic. Greg and Patrick did a great job handling the Wicked rushes, with an assist from Lydia right after family meal. Team did a great job. - IP FOH Staff Obs...

Sunday (Wicked Day 4) 11/23/2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Opened with Wyatt. Low on Lemons to start the day - kitchen offered to help if things get dire, can run out to grab some if need be. Expecting Baldor order at some point w/ Lemons. Good (for now) on specials for Wicked, but Pink is going fast - and we don't have enough orange flower water for the batch until the Baldor order comes in. Going to make a pared down batch with however much we have at this moment. Green is still super stocked.  When Lauren got in I had a moment to batch and also got in there and scrubbed down the bar prep lowboy. Lauren made a great point that we should be making sure to keep up with that. It wasn't in the worst shape I've ever seen, but the more often we clean it, the less elbow grease we'll have to use! - IP I put in an order for cough drops and emergen-C so we have supplies to mitigate the cold we will all share from the busy, busy days. -LB Natasha has been off hosting friends in town, I have her doing a batch shif...

Saturday 11.22.25 Wicked Day 3 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Th1/2/3 were pretty much sold out for the day, with Wicked doing really well and Bugonia / Frankenstein taking up the smaller theaters.  Definitely a lot more kids coming through for Wicked this time, just as a heads up.  Sentimental Value is also selling out the smaller theaters, too.  Trees also had a group of runners (probably between 10-12 folks) hang out for drinks and brunch post-run.  A couple of more groups came through throughout the day and kept Trees happily busy during the early rounds. JH If we can change the temp on Trees lounge to 70 for this busy stretch, it gets really hot back there when they don't stop moving. -LB Wowie. everyone busting their butts today and I blame L. Frank Baum.  If we didn't switch to the plastic soda cups, we would have drowned today. Made it optimal. I think we need more empty grey racks, they were thin in circulation for the last round. I don't know which ones to get. If someone can weig...

Friday 11.21.25 Wicked Day 2 Jenn/Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication: Stacked team to open. Jenn was on inventory, I was on open. We made sure levels were good for the weekend BAR Staff Observations: Patrick and Tevon did a great job opening Patrick killed it today. I was able to get T out pretty early and everyone held it down. Gabrielle crushed in Lobby, Charlie and Matthew crushed the close in Tree's. - AB2 FOH Staff Observations: The Tree's crew gave high praise to Rebecca today. She was doing her thing! She was incredibly helpful with glassware. - AB2 Prep List: We have a Negroni Keg ready to rock when this one kicks (perhaps later tonight) I made 200 of the Pink Wicked drink, Bounty Law. Jenn made 2 FWWM and a lemonade. I batched a Heart's Desire and updated the count. - AB2 I also took the Negroni that was just mentioned and put it in a keg after it kicked. - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: We recieved US Foods & Sarene

Thursday 11.20.25 Wicked Day 1

Manager Communication:  Stacked crew. Gil and I opened the building, a tad sleepy in the first round, dinner round is very sold however. Second round was busy on all three floors, and Trees had a nice crowd throughout the evening (colder nights are definitely encouraging guests to do their post-movie debriefs indoors).  Wicked is doing well, and some of the other movies are still crushing the small theaters, so it was a nice, bustling Thursday. JH Customer Comments:  Had a heavily drinking couple right at opening who had given Charlie a hard time in the past few months. Tevon slowed them down, everything worked out BAR Staff Observations:  Really great work from everybody tonight.  Jeshua did a massive restock when he got in, so lobby was smooth sailing all night.  Gabrielle was able to get out of here once the second round on the first floor had settled down, and Tevon stuck around Trees until the last Th2 Wicked had gotten past its initial service push....

Wednesday 11/19/25 Lauren/Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Tevon came in early to put away the furniture from last night. I had him clocked in as bar prep.-LB Yesterday there was a vomitesque smell in the Trees dishpit. I ran bleach down the drain, cleaned the machine filter and ran a lot of water down. It improved. It was back today. I will pour some enzymatic drain stuff down as well and tell Vlad to keep an eye. Juan put the hooks for the rack tops and it makes the floor so much cleaner.-LB Customer Comments:  2 customers asked for a refund for the smell in Theater 5. -LB BAR Staff Observations:  Film Feast definitely dominated the second round on the first floor, so Nia got her introduction to how those work.  Matthew and Tevon got some batching done, and then Tevon got out of here while Matthew cleaned up and I took the Barry Lyndon service push with Gabrielle.  Matthew was able to get out of here a little before ten, once the post-FF crowd had settled in to Trees.  Nia did a great job ...

Tuesday 11/18/25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Lead meeting went off without a hitch. Fired up for Film Feast tomorrow.   During trivia there was a burning smell. Smelled electrical. I looked around asked other MODs to help since I don't have a great sense of smell. Lillian was playing and I asked her if it might be the bulb for projector. I would say it is likely time to clean out the projector at trees for dust.-LB I hit Dwight with a staff perk for helping with crowd control at Trees since we were a man short-LB BAR Staff Observations: The A-team made it possible to let Ian duck out. Natasha is just amazing on the floor. Tevon, Darius and Lydia move like one mind. We are so lucky to have such exceptional folks. Greg is holding down the lobby like a boss.-LB FOH Staff Observations: Runner shout outs from Bar team (not just me) Henry!!! Rae!!! Caroline!!! Eric!!! Really tough level of people in Trees to find people with food. Very patient and working it out. -LB I caught Thursdae studying a binder in th...

Monday 11/17/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: I spoke with Juan about mounting the hooks in the dishpit and liquor room. I also asked him to mount the Trees Th 1/2 printer on the wall. He will try to do that if there is enough cable.-LB Ian is the man and moved the frozen machines by himself. All back to normal.-LB Frozens back up and working well! Monday turned into a busy night with the triple whammy of special programming. Bar team crushed and management was on their game. - IP  BAR Staff Observations: Greg and Patrick made the post-screening party look easy. I hopped in to make service drinks for the screening of The Crow that was starting right as the party got underway. Nia and Lydia held down the lobby well. Got Lydia outta here after the Darkroom screenings and then Nia did a great job in the lobby tonight. - IP Special Events? Darkroom, private screening and The Crow. All went very well - Chenelle was awesome with the party in Trees. Helped run up some of the food and then helped break down, bu...

Sunday 11/16/2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building. I got the triple-bay frozen machine reassembled and slushing up some product as per the instructions from the service technician. As of 11:15 (roughly an hour after refilling the chambers) the FWWM and FroCo were slushing up perfectly - but the Bounty continues to take more time. I'd be interested to see if it is the freezing capability of the machine (we can swap the Bounty and Firewalk chambers, as the Firewalk is working well) or the Brix of the batch that might need adjusting. It has historically taken longer to freeze than the others - perhaps we could tweak the batch to slush better. -IP Around 7:45pm Alex M made a call that a man was on the ground unresponsive by theater 3 garbage can.  Michael, James, Dion and I all quickly responded. I took over since I had the time. It seemed he had low blood sugar. We got him water, OJ and a small thing of fries.  He opted to take his food to go and get a cab home. I ran his...

Saturday 11.15.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Kiki  dominated the first round, and then some of the smaller theaters filled up for the second.  Had a nice pop at Trees around two, clearing out once the second round got underway. JH Jeshua requested that I find a way to keep the coupes from falling off the shelves in lobby bar. I will work on that. -LB The Three's IPA line's button on top of the fob chamber does push down now but it still does not pull beer through. I have to coordinate with the bar to pull the fob or wait for them to get impatient. -LB I moved the shirts and ties that were in the Cambro cup cabinet. I put them with the full bar glassware since I suspect they are for Goodfellas and they are with our stuff for FF as well. -LB I ordered a case of coffee cups  (we were shy after brunch) and coupes ahead of the Wicked onslaught.-LB I moved up Nia's in-time to 11:30am for tomorrow.-LB Gus, I got tasters and COGS ready for both Wicked drinks, see you later today.-LB BAR Staff Ob...

Friday 11.14.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Really great PM team. I'm sure the AM team was great as well, but Wyatt, Jeremy & James are just a pleasure to be around. Customer Comments: Trees was popping for PSP.  BAR Staff Observations: I really just love this team. The way everyone works together and just makes it happen. Righteous. FOH Staff Observations: There was a slight lull between rounds for Trees and Matthew made the right call to scour for glassware cause we were going through it. Charlie was on it. Jeremy was on it. Wyatt was on it, but the MVP, the GOAT, the person who really took this communal responsibility like it was a personal task and brought a haul was Siete. I gave them a token. Siete pops up on this blog more often than not. They are really awesome to work with and care.  Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events: Nada Staff Meeting Agenda notes: None 86ed / counts on items: We are running low on PBR, probably will kick tomorrow. Will let it ride till then. ...

Thursday 11.13.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Solid team tonight, I was behind the bar quite a bit so James re-routed lobby when it was time. Great teamwork Customer Comments: We had a lot of people in Trees tonight. Good vibes. BAR Staff Observations: Matthew Soler is a Warrior. I would hop behind any bar with him. He didn't care that we were a bit understaffed tonight, he just went for it. We poured a lot of beers. FOH Staff Observations: Alex Mazius gets the game ball. We ran low on Pint glasses for probably 90 minutes. Got down to our last glass at one point, but Alex was just pushing glassware through for us. We never were truly scrambling. He helped a lot.   Sick Leave/ Call outs: Natasha called out sick. Hope she feels better tomorrow! Special Events: John Woods found a gaggle of arcade game programmers, great event! Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: Prep List:  Got us ahead on syrups and Arbol Tequila so we should be set for tomorrow's prep shift. JH I cancelled Tevon's...

Wednesday 11/12 Ian/Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Slow morning. Ian did machines and helped with open. Busy night at both bars throughout the second round.  The private event in Th3 went really well and kept Lobby popping, and then the runners group came through Trees again and kept us pretty packed until a little after nine.  Pretty smooth night after that, with most folks leaving Trees by eleven or so. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Tevon and Matthew crushed open Tevon was able to get out of here once the initial service push of the special event in Th3 was over, and Jeshua held down a very busy Lobby solo for the rest of the night.  Gabrielle and Matthew made quick work of a very busy bar once the runners arrived, and I took on the service pass for a moment while they focused on bar guests and getting out on the floor.  Matthew stuck around until most of the runners had left, and helped Gabrielle with a restock and some pre-closing. JH FOH Staff Observations:  Shout out to Jova...

Tuesday 11/11/25 Gus & Ian

Manager Communication:   Solid start to the day that ebbed and flowed into a nicely attended Pre-Code screening and subsequent soiree. James and Dion are fantastic. Team was firing on all cylinders. Gus and I discussed the gameplan for tomorrow for the problematic Frozen machine in the lobby. I'll be in at 10 to get started. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Charlie is really finding his groove behind the bar. He seems to be making his own connections to economize his effort and take charge of his space. Happy to see it. Nia is also making strides. Continues to whittle away at the Nitehawk knowledge that will eventually become second nature - and more importantly, she is WONDERFUL about cleaning the lowboys. The lobby fridges look beautiful. Her close was excellent. Greg was late today, and I could tell he was really embarrassed and bummed out about making the mistake. He took the write-up in stride, and I think I can speak for everyone when I say I am not at all worried about this bein...

Monday 11.10.25 / Ariel, Lauren, & Ian / NPP Bar

Manager Communication:  Good little Monday! Bugonia sold well and Trees had a good crowd most of the evening because of the off-day tomorrow. Darkman had a decent enough showing, and the evening went very smoothly aside from the one small incident (noted right under here!) - IP Customer Comments: Around 8:15 a guest alerted me that someone had "collapsed" outside of Theater 1. I found the guest laying on the floor, alert and awake. She said she had "eaten a bunch of candy and sugar" and started to feel sweaty and faint - upon exiting the theater, she fell down the short stairs out of the theater and hit her head on the opposite wall. She had a welt and a small cut on her lip. I brought her ice and water and asked if there was anything else I could bring her until we found the rest of her party in the theater. James wrangled them, and once we had them all outside, we asked if they wanted us to call an ambulance, which they declined. I offered to call a car, and they ...

Sunday 11/9/2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Rebecca and I got the building all opened up. Numbers look comfy for a Sunday - staffing looks good and we should be off to the races.  Keeping a close eye on the frozen machines. Told the openers to not overfill them while they start getting slushy - hopefully that will alleviate some issues (more below in maintenance) - IP It was noted to me lots of water cups in the grey racks. I also saw a shot glass in a grey racks resting on top of a rocks glass. This will most likely result in something breaking. Last night a piece of glass seemingly fell out of a clean stack of racks and I had to sort through to make sure there wasn't any broken glass in there. I know the servers have been confused what to do with the shot glass if we can reiterate until Friday that they can keep them separate and bring them back to either bar. -LB I broke out one case of rocks glasses and I ordered 3 to make sure we are in good shape for FF.-LB Drinks really were flying this weekend....

Saturday 11.08.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: First round was mellow, with Th1 leading the way in sales with Jaws but all of the other theaters doing okay, too.  Easygoing service to start the day, and second round followed suit.  Had a couple of folks stop by to just chill at Trees, which was nice for a Saturday brunch. JH Broke out two cases of 16 oz tumblers. I am ordering some 12 oz cups ahead of the holidays.  Once film feast is over we should check mug and coupe inventory. I am also order two boxes of drink service trays to have on stand by in those cabinets. -LB Busy, busy everywhere.  Days like this show off how well-prepared we are but they also remind us how there is never too much preparation.-LB The straw container at the Trees service pass is sort of enormous. Going to scale down to a smaller one, since most servers grab straws from their theaters anyway, it will tighten our mise en place.-LB Raekwon killing training and being a darling as always.-LB Vlad (and Gus) did a great...

Friday 11.7.25 Jenn/Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication: Stacked team. Jenn conquered inventory. Gus had a couple of things under his name. I closed out his server bank and added it to Bartenders tips on the tip sheet. Just letting y'all know in case it seems sketch seeing his server bank printed late when he was not here. - AB2 Customer Comments: Matthew had to kick people out tonight. It was a couple where one of them had ID and the other did not. The one with ID ordered a drink and the one with no ID order an N/A drink. When they sat at the table, Matthew noticed she was sharing her drink with him and he told them to stop. After they continued, he asked them to leave. Dwight made sure they left peacefully. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Charlie did a good job of making drinks and attending to a guest who needed some attention in the first round. I appreciate how intentional Charlie is now. For a moment it was just us two behind the bar and he made it a point to distinguish the roles he wanted us to have. He sai...

Thursday 11.06.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Stacked team tonight. Couple of events. Good coverage Customer Comments: Some Southern folks came by today, was cool to get some support from reps who just want to be here. BAR Staff Observations: Solid crew tonight. Matthew and Natasha crushed it. Spoons was a breeze FOH Staff Observations: Great teamwork from the floor tonight Hiring/Training: Reached out to a recent former employee today. Hoping to hear back from them tomorrow. Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events: Spoons. Screening in Th.3, brought some peeps to the bar. Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: Prep List: On the board for Tevon. Jenn made a bunch o stuff. R&D comp checks: Over/Short on Banks: Pay Outs:  $150.00 (Halloween Costume Prize) JH Lost & Found?: Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Amazon (bar cleaning supplies + coffee lids) + Baldor + Empire + Harney + Manhattan + M.S. Walker + Sarene + Terrestrial + To Rise + Union arrived. JH Maintenance: It was slow to...

Wednesday 11/5/25 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Productive day here at NPP. Spoke with Scott from Hometown Coffee about some coffee science. He is gonna send some info over. Coffee will be top notch ASAP.-LB I went over some cleaning tasks with Vlad. I showed him the porter daily checklist I found, he thinks it is old. Happy to help go over the weekly tasks with another manager.-LB Pretty easygoing night.  Trees definitely had a few pops of groups throughout the night, which kept the space bustling.  Once third round got underway, the bar crowd definitely thinned out. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Matthew and Tevon are just the best. Good to see Gabrielle.   Jeshua is such a solid preparer for his shift. -LB Was able to get openers out before the third round began, and both Gabrielle and Jeshua closed each bar without issue. Wednesday has a really good bartender line up, which is great on those busier nights. JH Prep List:  Black Manhattan, pumpkin syrup, ginger syrup. -IP I'm ...

Tuesday 11/4/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: I bleached a sink stopper from the dollies for us to use in bar prep when we need to fill a sink with water for deep cleaning etc. I wrote on it, try to keep it there and clean.-LB Confirmed with trivia hosts Jan 6th, Jan 20th, Feb 3rd, Feb 17th for 2026. Did not see an event calendar for next year on the drive. -LB There is a count on ST&B powdered toast man for Thursday. FYI-LB Election Day Trivia was fine. Pretty slow all around, but Trivia still demands a lot of attention - the team worked it well, despite Val not being super knowledgeable - but, not a concern anymore! Happy Trails, Val! - IP Customer Comments:  Touched base with Edgar, Ariel and Gus and will continue troubleshooting our coffee not being delicious. Did a taste test with coffee with fairly even preference distribution. Ariel, Edgar and I will make sure that we get the grinder cleaned out and we will taste test some other beans with Hometown. Excited to improve this beverage.-LB BAR Sta...

Monday 11.3.25 / Ariel/Lauren/ NPP Bar

Manager Communication: I put out a box of pint glasses. Might do another tomorrow. That bar glassware cabinet is so rad.-LB I made a basic bar prep closing checklist, so we can be a good example to the bartenders and keep fruit flies in check.  It isn't much and if we each try to keep things tidy it is easier all around.-LB Really mellow but chill night. Go Vote-LB FOH Staff Observations: Also shout out to Michael for giving great customer service in the lobby but also checking on theater temperatures after servers note it to the MOD. -LB I checked out 3705 of the 8:45pm Frankenstein at Lobby bar since they wanted to leave early. They did not tip and I asked if there was a problem with the service, they said no. I understand this is not uncommon and that is tragic.  -LB 86ed / counts on items: Pilser, due to Sarene's double mistake.-LB Prep List: I batched a Margarita keg started the juniper syrup then handed it off to LB - AB2 I must say having a full size whiteboard at ...

Sunday 11/2/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  My friend dropped off two smaller Vitamix containers (he replaced his with steel), I will check to see that we can use them with our power units tomorrow. If they do I might see if Esther can live with one base unit and a few full size tops.-LB I reorganized the liquor island and shifted it over to the right to provide clearance for the ladder to access the ceiling hatch. I tested it out and there is ample room for the ladder. I also reconfigured the island to make more sense, and am happy to report that WE HAVE SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES (and all the liquor is organized by type and neatly stacked). - IP Customer Comments: We had a large group of friends from Freddy's bar come in and hang and see a movie - there was some confusion regarding several of their drinks that were not marked to be a buyback, so I manager comped those remaining items and left a note on the check (ticket #K8 - labeled "Buyback for Freddy's Folx") - IP BAR Staff Observ...

Saturday 11/1/2025 Ian

Manager Communication: Jenn let me know first thing this morning that she was unable to come in to work today. She did a great job alerting all the openers and MOD's for the morning, and as it was superstars Tevon and Matthew opening, everything was hunky dory. Staffing was great, as Greg was in at 10:30, so it was smooth sailing until everyone else got in (and continued to be!). Very busy evening - most theaters ended up selling very well, and the building was positively humming. Game 7 of the World Series brought and kept a large crowd at Trees.  - IP BAR Staff Observations: Gil made the call to cut Matthew a little after Charlie got in - and that worked great. Got Tevon out of here right when the closers got in. Greg stuck around through family meal to help rotate, and then restocked the bars before he got outta here. Charlie, Gab and Lydia crushed a consistently busy Trees lounge and endless service rushes. Jeshua is, as always, totally set-it-and-forget-it in the lobby. Every ...
