Manager Communication:
Jenn let me know first thing this morning that she was unable to come in to work today. She did a great job alerting all the openers and MOD's for the morning, and as it was superstars Tevon and Matthew opening, everything was hunky dory. Staffing was great, as Greg was in at 10:30, so it was smooth sailing until everyone else got in (and continued to be!).
Very busy evening - most theaters ended up selling very well, and the building was positively humming.
Game 7 of the World Series brought and kept a large crowd at Trees.  - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Gil made the call to cut Matthew a little after Charlie got in - and that worked great. Got Tevon out of here right when the closers got in. Greg stuck around through family meal to help rotate, and then restocked the bars before he got outta here. Charlie, Gab and Lydia crushed a consistently busy Trees lounge and endless service rushes. Jeshua is, as always, totally set-it-and-forget-it in the lobby. Every time I pop down to check on him he's good to go. Rarely needs anything, and has become really great about anticipating his needs and calling before it's an emergency. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Servers were FANTASTIC about glassware circulation this evening. There was only one point where we thought we might have been running low on pints, but then voila! There was a stack ready to be washed. I saw Eryn and Rada in particular being really on top of the glassware when they came through the Trees pass area. - IP

Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Jenn - feel better! - IP

Special Events?
World Series Game 7 turned into an event! Had the game on and the whole downstairs of Trees was full til the end of the (very exciting and ultimately unsatisfactory) game. 

86ed / counts on items:
There is no count on the Bugonia special at the moment, so when we make more we should calculate how much we have and get an accurate count. - IP

Prep List:
Made some iced tea and lemonade for tomorrow morning. 
Gonna have to make backup OF and Mr/Mrs Collins Kegs. Probably more Bugonia special, but everything looks good for opening tomorrow. - IP

Maintenance:
The middle stall in the men's room began flushing and wouldn't stop. It caused some minor dripping in Theater 7. Jared and James took care of handling the guest issues in 7 while Vlad got the water turned off to that toilet and stopped the leak. The center stall is out of order for the time being - more info in MOD blog. - IP

Filmbot Issues:
Filmbot card reader was disconnecting from the iPad randomly today. Exiting out of the app and restarting it seemed to work - but we did have to do that several times. Not a catastrophic issue, just an annoyance. - IP

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
