Manager Communication: 
Solid start to the day that ebbed and flowed into a nicely attended Pre-Code screening and subsequent soiree. James and Dion are fantastic. Team was firing on all cylinders.
Gus and I discussed the gameplan for tomorrow for the problematic Frozen machine in the lobby. I'll be in at 10 to get started. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Charlie is really finding his groove behind the bar. He seems to be making his own connections to economize his effort and take charge of his space. Happy to see it. Nia is also making strides. Continues to whittle away at the Nitehawk knowledge that will eventually become second nature - and more importantly, she is WONDERFUL about cleaning the lowboys. The lobby fridges look beautiful. Her close was excellent. Greg was late today, and I could tell he was really embarrassed and bummed out about making the mistake. He took the write-up in stride, and I think I can speak for everyone when I say I am not at all worried about this being a recurring issue for Greg. He and Charlie worked really well behind the bar for a decently busy pop before and after the Pre-Code screening. We have a really good team. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Always forget that Eryn is still super new. Has Nitehawk veteran energy (in the best possible way). Love to see it. - IP

Hiring/Training:
Had a brief impromptu convo in the office regarding our approach to finding a replacement bartender for Val. More to come. - IP

Special Events?
Night Nurse screening - Good crowd who chilled before and after. They definitely enjoyed the Blonde in Hell cocktail special - I think we batched it just about right. We have a little leftover, but pretty spot on. - IP

I backed up the Negroni and Tom Collins kegs and made some more iced tea and simple syrup. Didn't have a chance to charge the Collins, so I'll get it on the line right when I get in tomorrow morning. 
Will get to a Black Manhattan Keg and whatever else needs batching tomorrow after machine maintenance/rearrangement - the list on the whiteboard is updated. - IP

Maintenance:
As we have an Elmco specialist coming to work on the lobby frozen machine later this week, I am going to get it cleaned and then Gus and I have a plan to move it to the bar prep area, so that when the techs come in, they can get right to work and don't have to worry about any schlepping. We will in turn bring the two-chamber frozen machine down from Trees to Lobby for the interim. - IP

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
