Manager Communication:
Rebecca and I got the building all opened up. Numbers look comfy for a Sunday - staffing looks good and we should be off to the races.
Keeping a close eye on the frozen machines. Told the openers to not overfill them while they start getting slushy - hopefully that will alleviate some issues (more below in maintenance) - IP
It was noted to me lots of water cups in the grey racks. I also saw a shot glass in a grey racks resting on top of a rocks glass. This will most likely result in something breaking. Last night a piece of glass seemingly fell out of a clean stack of racks and I had to sort through to make sure there wasn't any broken glass in there. I know the servers have been confused what to do with the shot glass if we can reiterate until Friday that they can keep them separate and bring them back to either bar. -LB
I broke out one case of rocks glasses and I ordered 3 to make sure we are in good shape for FF.-LB
Drinks really were flying this weekend. The season has officially changed and all the expected items are popping off. And the IPAs hardcore. -LB
7:15ish we were trying to locate Jack to remove a seat for Theater 5. He didn't respond to Dion's walkie calls, he was running a 35 mm print. Dion went to find them and ended Theater 2 booth and there was no light so Dion, disoriented fell down the stairs because it was pitch black. I was in the office and gave Jack a call, he got right down to meat Dion at theater 5. We did an incident report in case Dion feels like there is pain from this, but also unsure if a light needs to be checked on.-LB
Very professional vibes this weekend. I feel like this weekend was a good omen for the busy rounds ahead. -LB

Customer Comments:
A couple wanted to check out for If I Had Legs I Would Kick You. I was in the lobby and helped them out. I asked them what they were seeing and they explained they have a one year old that has weight gain issue. They wanted to know how it ends so I told them. They were so nice so I had James email them passes and I restocked the lobby bar with passes.-LB

BAR Staff Observations:
Nat and Greg got the bars set with no issue. Nia and Patrick second in. No crazy showtimes, but Trees did catch a little pop when the downpour was happening in the afternoon. Greg and Nia were up to the challenge. Natasha held it down in the lobby - and was a dream about handling some really odd guests today.  -LB
Jeshua's Tree's close is so fundamental to the health of the bar.  Keen eye for detail and hyper cleaning. Love it. -LB

FOH Staff Observations: Big shout out to Siete for bussing stuff at Trees when they were waiting in the service pass for a tray!!!
Also running dishes. But Siete was not the only server being diligent with this. I really appreciate this as the chaos of dinner rush on weekends is always great to see hands. -LB
Without naming names, I want to note a server bringing family meal to eat at Trees when they were cut. Since it looks like outside food, I think a reminder in a weekly email?-LB
Big ups to Sal, Patrick was doing a big restock for Trees before he got cut and Sal jumped in to help restock the Miller high life. So sweet. Lots of really excellent teamwork all around the building this weekend. -LB

Hiring/Training:
Today I heard Nia make a radio call to let the runners know she had forgotten to put a flag number on the ticket. However, she seemed to be unaware of Radio etiquette (she basically just radioed into the aether that she had placed an order for something that should have number 27, so after she made the call, I popped up to Trees and gave her a run-down of making sure to a) know which department you are calling, b) wait for them to acknowledge that you called and c) make sure to give whomever you are calling the applicable ticket number. She seemed to take in the note readily and will hopefully follow proper protocol in the future! - IP
I went over some other filmbot related stuff with Nia, which takes a little longer, and things do change with permissions. She is getting the hang.-LB

86ed / counts on items:
EVT.  Three's is on the last keg, like I said IPAs flew. Three's is gonna try and hook us up with a keg before our Union delivery.-LB

Prep List:
Got the outstanding items on the whiteboard batched (Bamboo Lounge cheater & Bounty Law). Walk-in looks well-stocked and ready for the rest of the evening. - IP

TO BATCH AT SOME POINT:
- Margarita Keg
- Blackstrap Syrup (Molasses coming from NWB)
- Feedback Loop (?)
- Staple items (Lemonade, Iced Tea, Fro-Co)
I made a half Feedback loop. -LB

R&D comp checks: Did a little for winter refresh and will calculate COGS and enter costs tomorrow.-LB

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
On the last keg of Frizzante until we receive more. - IP
We are on the last keg of Three's which is very foamy. -LB
US foods coming tomorrow and Baldor (just Passionfruit put in freezer please and lemon juice)

Maintenance:
Both lobby and trees frozen machines froze up with little issue today. I made sure that the openers didn't fill up the hoppers before what was already in the machine had begun to freeze. The less product the faster it freezes (obviously, lol) and while the lobby machine took a little longer than the trees machines to slush up, within a half an hour of the first screening in theater 3 all three chambers were ready to serve. Until whatever decision is made re: fixing or replacing - let's just make sure that at open there is only enough product in the machines to cover the horizontal impellers (the spinning rotor on the bottom), to help it to freeze faster - or, conversely, if we're having freezing issues, bleed out some of the product into a container until it starts to freeze properly. - IP

I WD40'd the hinges on the guest entrance door to theater 7, as Rebecca noticed it was squeaky AF. All good now! - IP

Mobilebytes Issues:
The carafe printing on the tombacco is mostly cut off. If the words can be reorganized. -LB
