Saturday 11.22.25 Wicked Day 3 Jenn/Lauren
Manager Communication:
Th1/2/3 were pretty much sold out for the day, with Wicked doing really well and Bugonia/Frankenstein taking up the smaller theaters. Definitely a lot more kids coming through for Wicked this time, just as a heads up. Sentimental Value is also selling out the smaller theaters, too. Trees also had a group of runners (probably between 10-12 folks) hang out for drinks and brunch post-run. A couple of more groups came through throughout the day and kept Trees happily busy during the early rounds. JH
If we can change the temp on Trees lounge to 70 for this busy stretch, it gets really hot back there when they don't stop moving. -LB
Wowie. everyone busting their butts today and I blame L. Frank Baum. If we didn't switch to the plastic soda cups, we would have drowned today. Made it optimal. I think we need more empty grey racks, they were thin in circulation for the last round. I don't know which ones to get. If someone can weigh in.-LB
A lot of interdepartmental appreciation tonight. Kat mentioned how locked in the bar was. George noted how hard everyone killed it. Very good solidarity vibes going around. -LB
Customer Comments: A woman was confused about the "open to the public" sign outside and that it didn't mean she could bring in food from another restaurant. They tried to negotiate to buy drinks and I noted they would be welcome to, but they could not eat their outside food.-LB

Can we add cake cutting fees to events on the POS. I charged the large party that hung out on the mezz $25 for their cake, after they pretended to not have one. They were ultimately wonderful and padded out the bartenders tip pool with a very large autograt-LB
BAR Staff Observations:
BAR Staff Observations:
Matthew and Tevon opened both bars and hit service running, with Greg getting up to Trees just before doors opened. Smooth sailing throughout the day, with Greg and Tevon making lightwork of multiple busy screenings and Matthew holding Lobby down like a champ. Charlie's in-time was perfect, and set us up for success as the second round got underway. Once closers were in, we were able to cut Matthew and Tevon, and sent Charlie down to Lobby (we figured a busy Saturday night with Jeshua at Lobby would be a good learning experience). JH
FOH Staff Observations:
Porters should be checking/refreshing the bathrooms at Trees at least once a round. With all of the younger guests for Wicked, coupled with sold out screenings, things can look a bit messy quite quickly. Did my best to keep in touch with Markenson & Vlad today, but figured I would pass the note on. JH
Vlad was on it later on. He was super helpful today bringing bus tubs to the kitchen from Trees when we were weeded.-LB
Eryn running dishes super helpful. Lots of others helping out. No idle hands today. Having the FOH porter take off as early as Vlad was scheduled is hard when the last rounds are as sold out as they were.-LB

Special Events?
Very lowkey group, ordered everything at the bar, and Chennelle was here to handle the checkout. JH
Chenelle is an event hero.-LB
Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Just a note for back-to-back sold out Wicked screenings in Th1/2. Since they are an hour apart there is actually quite a bit of downtime between service rushes & flips, which leaves Trees with ample time for restocks in regular intervals. To support, during flips I stayed by the glasswasher and focused on getting glasses cleaned, and was able to pop over to the service pass if they needed hands. Service was really smooth sailing at Trees for the first three rounds. JH
Jenn was helpful AF sticking around helping with the glassware flip which rocked, since we have retired the bar manager Saturday shift-LB

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: I am placing Baldor for tomorrow since I failed to submit the order I had scheduled for today. All good, we will have what we need. Glad to know we didn't kill 4 gallons of lemon juice and a box of lemons in 6 hours. Ian, I emailed you what I ordered so you don't miss anything.-LB

Small US Foods order Monday.-LB
Maintenance: During these majorly busy days, take a look in the dish machine and make sure no lemon seeds are obstructing water flow. I ran the refresh cleaner through and cleaned the filter. -LB
