Manager Communication:
The little waters for the event tomorrow morning are in the bar walk-in. They are right in front where the Phony Negroni's have been living. Can't miss em'. - AB2

Ariel and the crew had everything set and ready by the time I got in. Wicked continues its reign; Bar team and Server team continue to crush; all around it seems like people are really locking in - it's really great to see. - IP

Customer Comments:
Had an impromptu birthday party on the mezz with an outside cake - they were super cool about the fee and the no candles policy. They had a great time, and all was well. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Greg and Lydia opened like champs per usual. - AB2

Nia handled some pretty deep Nitehawk ticketing questions and seems to be getting the hang of Filmbot and is doing a good job of directing traffic. Greg and Patrick did a great job handling the Wicked rushes, with an assist from Lydia right after family meal. Team did a great job. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Lanie did a great job with handling theaters 5 and 7 at the end of the night. - IP

Hiring/Training:
Just noting that one of the new Runners, Elias took the time to introduce himself to me and pitch himself as a hard worker who is really eager to get involved with the bar team/bar program - offering to shadow, help out wherever. I know he's not necessarily seasoned enough at Nitehawk to be in contention for an internal hire for the bar team (as we have several other more qualified, more senior members of other departments who have already expressed interest), but I wanted to note it here that I like the attitude and want to encourage that kind of hustle. - IP

Sick Leave/ Call outs:

Special Events?
Hellboy 2 was underwhelming. The bar stayed busy with an impromptu birthday party on the mezz - complete with cake cutting fee! They were nice and had a good time. - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Not a big deal, as the team has been doing an absolutely wonderful job through this Wicked rush, but I think we can remind the bar team that in order for the servers to buss the way we want them to, there need to be empty racks - therefore they need to be unloading them at a faster clip (or a higher volume) - moreover, keep track of when the stacks of clean glassware start mounting up. -IP

86ed / counts on items:
We 86'd Frizzante today. We decided to 86 it and use the remaining sparkling bottles for the Obsessulated Wicked special. POS has been updated. - AB2

Got down to the last emergency bottle of Prosecco, but never had to 86! With kegs coming in tomorrow, we will be rip roarin' and ready to go for the Holiday Festivities.

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
