Sunday (Wicked Day 4) 11/23/2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: 

Opened with Wyatt. Low on Lemons to start the day - kitchen offered to help if things get dire, can run out to grab some if need be. Expecting Baldor order at some point w/ Lemons. Good (for now) on specials for Wicked, but Pink is going fast - and we don't have enough orange flower water for the batch until the Baldor order comes in. Going to make a pared down batch with however much we have at this moment. Green is still super stocked. 

When Lauren got in I had a moment to batch and also got in there and scrubbed down the bar prep lowboy. Lauren made a great point that we should be making sure to keep up with that. It wasn't in the worst shape I've ever seen, but the more often we clean it, the less elbow grease we'll have to use! - IP

I put in an order for cough drops and emergen-C so we have supplies to mitigate the cold we will all share from the busy, busy days. -LB

Natasha has been off hosting friends in town, I have her doing a batch shift tomorrow. She is bringing her friends. I issued one placeholder pass for her that is in the lobby, if we can void it post-viewing, if not she will pay employee price. Thank you.-LB

Really busy Sunday, long shifts and early call times leaves it a little thing come post-dinner. Everyone gave their all to make it work. I helped Charlie during his rushes and was back to Trees to a well reset situation.-LB

Exceptional teamwork all weekend.-LB

BAR Staff Observations:

Wicked was wicked sold out (obviously) and I couldn't have asked for a better team than Matt, Patrick and Greg. The bars were set up for success and when Patrick came in we were off to the races. Greg and Patrick are total pros - great communication and teamwork - got through two massive rushes with no problems at all. Matt, to no one's surprise, handled the special event and traffic controlling easily. Everyone was firing on all cylinders. - IP

Nia is pretty much killing it. She is getting her bar legs solidly.  Charlie mastering the lobby like a boss. Jeshua is so great, he stopped to point out tips to Nia.  They were on fire today.-LB

FOH Staff Observations: The servers are invisible ninjas. They would fetch trays and slither off to their theaters. A hustle like no other. The teamwork in this building cannot be highlight enough this week.-LB



Sick Leave/ Call outs: I don't feel great today, feel the rumblings of bronchitis. If it seems worse tomorrow I am going to call out and head to doctor so I can beat this before next weekend.-LB

Special Events?

Home Alone private screening in 7 was handled easily by Wyatt - they meandered for a little while in the lobby, but service and screening went smoothly once they all got in the theater. 


Prep List:

*Gus mentioned to use up the Espolon Blanco for the next margarita keg*

I made more simple, some lemonade, a Spice World, another batch of Obsessulated when Lauren got in and I could pop into the back. Lauren is going to compile a list for Nat tomorrow. - IP

We have enough orange blossom water for a 2x batch of Obsessulated, if we need to make more, we need to run to Syko or Mr. Kiwi to buy more. I have a lot arriving from Amazon later this week.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:

Baldor received. The order was short one case of Sparkling Saratoga and the Jumbo Olives - the delivery driver gave us a credit on the items that were missing. - IP
Baldor and US foods coming tomorrow. I also ordered more Harney & Sons since it is officially tea season.-LB

Maintenance:

The floor mats at Trees are outrageously sticky. I will mention to the porter team to give a little extra attention to them tonight. - IP *This was mentioned yesterday and was not done well enough.  A quart of juniper syrup was spilled. Hopefully tomorrow it will be normal.-LB

The Trees service ice well needs to be properly snaked. It is clogging with melting ice water during service. -LB
