Manager Communication: Great day today. Trees was a rockin'. BAR Staff Observations: Miguel did great getting ready for trivia and worked it, Maya opened lobby and then served trivia like a pro, Ashley batched and led a smooth trivia at Trees while Jenna held down the lobby. Miguel and Maya got out after resetting the bar and room. The team was wonderful.  FOH Staff Observations: Runners were great during trivia. Special Events? Attack the Block went smoothly in th3 and lobby.  Trivia was great! Full room, happy patrons, fun show.  86ed / counts on items: Stout and Sauv blanc. 

Manager Communication:  Pretty slow day. Snow finally fell.  Customer Comments: Helped clean up vomit on the third floor and inside entrance to th6. Cornmeal to the rescue.  BAR Staff Observations: Great team. Tevon opened Trees and Jenna did the long lobby.  Tevon was cut shortly after Gabrielle arrived to close Trees and everyone ate.  86ed / counts on items: Interboro Stout and Sauv Blanc Prep List: We'll need to make stripTEAse gin so we can make another batch. Manager Communication : Pretty good morning. Slow at start but ramped up. Nice afternoon trees crowds. Pittsburgh of bust in mezz went great. Chenelle had everything under control. EL Trees was busy all evening, especially once the 5:00pm Cocaine Bear let out.  Chelsea & Jesse's going away party crowd brought out a lot of people, with a fair amount of NH staff in the mix.  Everyone was on their best behavior and it was a lovely evening with plenty of drinks going out all night. JH BAR Staff Observations :   Great opens from Tevon at Trees and Andrea at Lobby. Matthew floated between bars and helped batch once Maya arrived. Great brunch team. Manager Communication : Busy busy night throughout the building. Plenty of well-sold theaters throughout the third and fourth round, with Th4/6 selling out at the same time. The crowd for Cocaine Bear filled up Trees several times throughout the night, transitioning into a steady drinking crowd once inside the theater.  BAR Staff Observations : We were down a bartender tonight, but everyone worked really hard tonight, navigating really busy service crushes and crowds at each bar. Definitely had to delegate some side work throughout the night whenever we had a lull, but nothing that ever disrupted service.  Maya and Andrea stayed on until all closers were in, and Matthew crushed a very busy first floor solo for the majority of the evening (thank you to Dwight for being such a help with ticketing and guest questions, as always). Manager Communication: Pretty busy evening. Cocaine bear has a great drinking crowd.  Trees had a great vibe all night.  BAR Staff Observations: Pretty good team. Everyone rallied and helped each other. Andrea was moved to Trees during the dinner round and went back down when it was manageable. Gabrielle was a real team player at lobby bar. Ashley and Matthew closed the night out strong.  Sick Leave/ Call outs : Ian rolled his ankle this morning, but was still able to come in for his Trees Open shift.  Unfortunately, as the afternoon went on, his ankle got progressively worse and I ended up cutting him once both closers arrived.  He plans to go to the doctor and will touch base with me in the morning about how his ankle is doing and whether or not he can make it in. Manager Communication : Quiet start to the day. Elevator was back up and running.  FELIZ CUMPLIAÑOS ELIEL!!! Pretty good evening. Slow in theaters but karaoke was great.  BAR Staff Observations : Miguel and Matthew opened up today and since it was pretty mellow, they were able to juice and prep for the next two days while knocking out sidework. EA Openers were out pretty early on. Ashley and Gabrielle took care of the rest of the night easily.  Special Events ? BAR Staff Observations : Eliel and Ian were well into service when.I arrived, and both were able to get out of here once the initial service push of the second round was over.  Jenna had no problem keeping up with tickets from the special screening, and was fine with keeping Lobby open until Th3's service was over.  Tevon handled Trees without issue, and I was able to pop behind the bar to help him navigate the Th3 crowd once their screening had concluded. JH Special Events? The crowd from the private screening was absolutely lovely.  They brought a great crowd to Trees both before and after the screening, which was much appreciated. Manager Communication : Steady flow of tickets and guests all day today, with the first round opening strong and each subsequent round picking up the pace. JH Both afternoon rounds were consistent with the late round seeing numbers taper off for the night.  EA Customer Comments:  Had a few guests happy that the pool table was up and running. They stuck around a bit after their film for a drink and a game. EA BAR Staff Observations : Eliel was great opening Lobby today, and was super helpful with distributing glassracks around the building and getting both bars set up with fresh juice.  Miguel also did a wonderful job opening, and was keenly focused on some minute opening details that tend to be missed by bartenders.  Both bars were great about communicating throughout service, and were restocked after Jenna came in for her mid shift. Manager Communication:   Pretty good day. Opened medium and grew throughout the day. Just what ya wanna hear.  Customer Comments: Helped two separate guests with wheelchair access.  One of the removals was during trailers. Is there a way to prompt guests to send an email if they need it removed? -EL BAR Staff Observations:   Great opens from Natasha at trees and Maya at Lobby. Once Matthew got here I moved Maya up to Trees and once Ashley got here, she did a big batch. (Bigger batch than usual because of the holiday). Manager Communication:  Breezy afternoon, chilly night. Pretty busy day with Ant-Man leading the charge. The Marvel machine never ceases to amaze. The busy afternoon bled into a busy evening with all theaters doing quite a bit of sells. Neither of the bars ever fell behind though.  I reprogrammed the coffee machine in the lobby so one side can do the standard 2L brew and changed the other side to match the 3L that was there before I swapped the front panels. EA BAR Staff Observations : Natasha and Tevon were both great about communicating garnish needs and doing hefty stocks at both bars before open, so the first round went really smoothly.  I was primarily up at Trees to assist Tevon with back-to-back seatings, and Natasha held down the first floor without issue.  Once Andrea and Chelsea were in as mids, both bars got restocked, and then Chelsea was able to get us a headstart on batching for the day. Manager Communication : Trees had a fairly steady flow of guests who were not here to see a movie during the first round, which was a nice pop of business before the dinner round took off. JH Very busy non-stop Antman Friday.  Trees Holy mountain frozen machine got very frozen and we couldn't use the machine for the last round of Antmans.  We got it from downstairs without a problem. EL Customer Comments: At lobby bar I found guests that left theater 4 at seat 507 because they felt uncomfortable with someone there and they wanted to settle their tab. I apologized for their experience, comped their check and gave them a credit for their tickets since the film was only about 30 minutes in. They were grateful. MOD's and Dwight delt with the theater. Manager Communication: Pretty busy premiere but we weren't ever overwhelmed. Good Trees Crowds.  I found that the left side of the coffee macchine had a cracked bit of the red nozzle like thing that is magnetically connected. It might explain the leaks there. I exchanged it with one from lobby.  BAR Staff Observations:  Tevon and Ashley had great opens.Ashley Ian and Matthew worked Trees while Chelsea batched and Tevon worked lobby. Ashley was able to help Chelsea finish batching after the 7pm rush. Once batching was done Tevon was cut. Ashley left right after the 9pm load in. Matthew got out around midnight after a hearty pre-close and Ian finished closing. Great work all around. Special Events? TH3 event went great. Manager Communication: Slow, but oh so gorgeous day today.  I was able to swap the front panels on the fetco machines. The one with the broken screen is now at trees and will be for hot water only. I was also able to reset the error codes on the lobby machine after changing the panel and it *seems* to have stopped it's randomly leaking. Let's observe it over the next couple of days.  Paul and I went through the deep clean checklist with Vlad today and helped clarify any questions he might have had. EA Pretty mellow evening. Manager Communication: Quiet start to the day leading into a pretty busy dinner and late round. Weather was feeling like Spring today! EA BAR Staff Observations:  Eliel and Tevon were in full swing today by the time I got there. With Eliel knocking out some prep in the lobby and Tevon setting up Trees. Once Miguel, Maya, and Ian got in. We were able to rotate out for family meal before dinner kicked into high gear. Ian and Maya split the service bar duties and knocked those tickets out quickly and efficiently. Maya is starting to look more comfortable back there and has no problem asking questions or for help when needed. Eliel stayed through the seating of Fire of Love to help Miguel get through the rush and then was out. After Cruel Intentions was seating and going, Tevon was able to get out of here. Manager Communication: Very mellow day throughout the building. Was able to make early cuts for the bar team. EA BAR Staff Observations: Very easy day for the bar staff. We ran very lean due to numbers and Eliel was able to get out shortly after batching followed by Jenna after the closers were settled in and had family meal. She gave them both a break and was cut thereafter. Sean and Miguel held the bars down until close. EA Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Just need to reiterate with staff about not leaving glass in the three sink. Will eventually lead to breakage and injuries. Manager Communication : Very similar to yesterday, Howl's Moving Castle nearly sold out Th2, and then the rest of the afternoon was pretty laidback with regards to sales. JH The afternoon into evening was really mellow and we were able to run very lean at both bars. Had a few guests stay and watch the Superbowl at Trees. All the Superbowl special beer has been consolidated in the walk in EA BAR Staff Observations : Both Andrea and Natasha opened without issue, and Natasha handled the service push for Howl's Moving Castle no problem.  Once Matthew got in, I had him cover Trees so that Natasha could get some batching done.  Andrea was able to get out of here once Maya got in and I was able to get Matthew downstairs.  Natasha stuck around for the seating of the 3:00pm Magic Mike to assist Maya with any of the VIP guests special requests, and then got out of here before four. Manager Communication : Opened really strong with Howl's Moving Castle nearly selling out Th2 and Being John Malkovich clearing fifty tickets.  The day definitely mellowed out after that initial service push, and the afternoon was pretty laidback. JH Dinner was pretty mellow as mentioned above. Everything Everywhere did about 100 for dinner and Avatar sold out in TH6, but nothing else really took off for the dinner round. There was a decent crowd at Trees for most of the evening. EA BAR Staff Observations : Ashley crushed a very busy service bar right when doors opened, and Natasha was a great support on garnishes down at Lobby.  Chelsea was unable to make it in (see Sick Leave/ Call outs ), and Tevon was able to come in a little earlier for his midshift.  Tevon covered Trees while Ashley got us set for the evening with regards to batching. Manager Communication:  Pretty good mellow night as Fridays go. Magic Mike did not deliver bodies.  Customer Comments: I answered a lobby call for a guest who had a very hard time at the lobby women's room and complained about the tiny stalls.  The guest said they had a hard time maneuvering and because of that soiled some articles of clothing. I got them a bag for the soiled clothing, apologized profusely, asked them if I could get them anything or help them in any way, and gave them two passes. They thanked me for my help. The guest was angry and embarrassed as they were with their grandchild.  BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle and Jenna opened Lobby and Trees. Gabrielle was cut soon after family meal. Jenna was cut after the dinner round rush. Chelsea did a great job closing lobby and Ashley trained Maya focusing on front of house and Matthew did a great job taking the majority of service tickets. Manager Communication: Easy start to the day. Not a lot of foot traffic. I did reach out to NuCO regarding the work in the nitrogen generator, but they were unable to give me a definite day that they could come out and said that it may up to a week before they can have a technician come. They will be sending a couple more back up tanks until then. EA Fun crowd for Karaoke at Trees, definitely getting a lot of return guests coming, as well as a fair amount of staff. Manager Communication: Pretty quiet day all around until Trivia. Every table was filled by 7pm and even had some guests standing in to join us. I don't think i've seen it quite this packed, but it was manageable.  Ran low on beer gas today, but NuCO came in and dropped off two back up tanks in case the machine doesn't get looked at tomorrow. I will call them first thing when i'm in to see if they will be stopping by. EA  Customer Comments: Had a few guests that were not here for trivia unable to find seating since all the tables were brought down (and the rest were stuffed in the back of bar storage). Should we cycle those tables towards the front of the room and take from there for trivia going forward? That way we can keep seating upstairs for overflow and to maximize the room we have now that the pool table is up and running. Manager Communication : Overall a mellow night with a couple of people eager to head up to the Mezz and play pool, punctuated only by a disruptive guest in the second round showing in Th1. Customer Comments : Had a very disruptive guest in the second round screening of Knock at the Cabin in Th1.  His main complaint was that he felt that Kaya (the server in Th1) and the other servers and runners walking through the aisles were singling him out and walking in front of him excessively.   When he brought this to Kaya's attention, the movie had been playing for quite some time, so she suggested he move to the front two rows, where no one would walk in front of him.  He did not like this response and went to Lobby Bar were he spoke to Carly while I went to Th1 to talk with Kaya.  Initially he demanded a refund but then began to head back to the theater with Carly, asking to sit 'as far from kitchen as possible,' where she agin suggested he take a seat in one of the fi...

Manager Communication : Good medium afternoon today. EL  Dinner was pretty mellow so we were able run lean for the rest of the day with no service issues at either bar. EA BAR Staff Observations: Great opens from Andrea at Lobby training Maya, and Natasha at Trees. Tevon and Ashley were great mids. Andrea was Cut soon after Tevon arrived and Natasha was cut at 4:30 once Trees was manageable. EL Mids were able to get out relatively early after giving the closers time to take a break. Jenna as always flew through the frozen machines in the lobby and Miguel ran the rest of service at Trees without any issue. Manager Communication : Busy start to a very cold morning, with the special events in Th1 &2 getting us off to a great start.  Ticket sales climbed throughout the day, and Trees had a pretty decently-sized afternoon crowd. I'm not sure of how to dispose of the old one, so it's sitting in the office in its box. Manager Communication: Good night tonight for service. Bar team rocked it.  Vlad wiped out on the stairs between lobby and Trees service bar, he hit his shin on some stairs. I gave him an ice pack and he took a little break, but he said he was fine to keep working. - ND Hiring/Training : Maya had her first day of Training, and opened Trees with Ian.  I started  a progress sheet in the FOH training binder for her, so make sure trainers are filling that out at the end of every training shift and that we are following the checklist on the back.   She has a hard copy of the training manual that I have asked her to bring to each day of training, and I emailed her the spec sheets for the Trees/Lo-Res and Classic cocktails. JH I kept her through all of the large theater rushes and then went over all of the day one stuff on the manual as well as some policy information regarding service. Manager Communication: Very slow start to the day. The temperature has dropped pretty low again. Getting through that last breath of winter air.
