Manager Communication: Good night tonight for service. Bar team rocked it. 

Vlad wiped out on the stairs between lobby and Trees service bar, he hit his shin on some stairs. I gave him an ice pack and he took a little break, but he said he was fine to keep working. - ND

Hiring/Training: Maya had her first day of Training, and opened Trees with Ian.  I started  a progress sheet in the FOH training binder for her, so make sure trainers are filling that out at the end of every training shift and that we are following the checklist on the back.  

She has a hard copy of the training manual that I have asked her to bring to each day of training, and I emailed her the spec sheets for the Trees/Lo-Res and Classic cocktails. JH

I kept her through all of the large theater rushes and then went over all of the day one stuff on the manual as well as some policy information regarding service. She was almost exclusively focused on theater service tonight, so we should make sure next Friday on her Final trees training shift she focuses on bar customers and cocktails. She did a good job today, I think she is going to be great. - ND

86ed / counts on items: Our Tinedo Tempranillo order this week got lost so unfortunately we will be out of that and spice spice baby until I can get us that delivery. -ND

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
