Manager Communication: Steady flow of tickets and guests all day today, with the first round opening strong and each subsequent round picking up the pace. JH

Both afternoon rounds were consistent with the late round seeing numbers taper off for the night.  EA

Customer Comments: Had a few guests happy that the pool table was up and running. They stuck around a bit after their film for a drink and a game. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Eliel was great opening Lobby today, and was super helpful with distributing glassracks around the building and getting both bars set up with fresh juice.  Miguel also did a wonderful job opening, and was keenly focused on some minute opening details that tend to be missed by bartenders.  Both bars were great about communicating throughout service, and were restocked after Jenna came in for her mid shift. JH

Jenna floated between both bars, but since Tevon was pretty much settled in downstairs, she helped us throughout the rushes in Trees before a heavy restock and was on her way. Gabrielle took care of Trees and held it down until close. EA


FOH Staff Observations: Definitely felt a bit of a crunch at the top of the second round since all theaters on the second and third floor had sold really well, so we were a bit tight on available hands to run trays.  But overall, nothing that necessitated any remakes for beverages, and servers, runners, and managers were as proactive about running trays as they could be. JH

86ed / counts on items: 86'd Sauvignon Blanc.  There is a count on Athletic Non-Alcoholic IPA. JH

We are out of the Sugar and Spice for the mystery cocktail. We do have half a quart of In America mix that we can use as our Mystery until Friday when we can use the Four Grasshoppers. EA

Prep List: We will need to batch more stripTEAse and Holy Mountain once St. Germain and Pierre Ferrand Cognac arrives. Grasshopper has been added to the Do Not Batch list. JH

Adding to this, we'll need the usual suspects: Firewalk and Lemonade. EA

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor and Stumptown tomorrow. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
