Manager Communication : Pretty mellow brunch this morning, with steady service once we hit noon.  Nope continues to bring in a decent crowd to Trees before showtime, and Trees filled up as the day progressed. JH Customer Comments:    BAR Staff Observations : Eliel opened Trees and, once Lee arrived, was able to get some batching done, and got out of here once Darius arrived to close Lobby.  Lee was really great behind Lobby, with relatively few calls for MOD assistance. Natasha opened Trees, and really set the bar up for success with her initial stock.  Miguel arrived a little late due to train issues, but communicated with me well ahead of time and I was able to swing Lee up to Trees to help Natasha until Miguel arrived.  Natasha was able to get out of here once Ashley had arrived.  JH Miguel continues to get faster behind the trees bar. Manager Communication : Easygoing brunch service, with Paprika selling really well, and all other movies in later rounds steadily climbing in ticket sales throughout the day.  Lobby definitely fielded a lot of walk in ticketing throughout service today.  JH Another busy day for nope. We were a little backed up for the 6pm round due to a broken glass in the well, but we were able to reset and recover pretty quickly.  The lobby bar is down to one menu and some of the theaters are missing menus as well. I am not sure what is happening to them, but can we print like ten more menus when we reprint this week. BAR Staff Observations : Natasha opened Lobby bar without issue, and was very helpful when Miguel arrived for his first live bartending shift.  Andrea worked solo up in Trees, which was pretty mellow until a little after one, when people began arriving for The Brunch Club just as Th1 hit a big service push.  I swung Natasha upstairs to help Andrea by taking over ...

Manager Communication: Busy night overall. Nope continued to be really strong and the ranch waters kept flowing through every screening. Bar top saw a lot of action in between screenings.  BAR Staff Observations: Solid team tonight. Everyone hustled and cranked out the drink tickets as fast as possible while keeping the bar top attended as well.  Hiring/Training: Miguel trained to close at Trees tonight. It his final training day, but he should still open Trees at some point. He went through the bartender guide in order to finalize his training and will work with Ashley and Edgar on Sunday to go over and work on classic cocktails.  86ed / counts on items:   86'd Dona Spice Prep List: We kicked a keg of Strawberry Mansion at EOD, and the Espresso Martini keg is low. Manager Communication: Busy Day. Nope still doing well and Shouting at the screen had a great crowd before and during the show.  Customer Comments: Helped guests with Williamsburg tickets but couldn't access it on the filmbot at lobby and MOD office. Ryan helped and got guests a credit but I also gave them passes since I couldn't solve their issue right in front of them. They didn't watch a movie, but had a meal at Trees and let me know they got the credit email before they left.  Helped a few guests with tickets but that's very usual.  BAR Staff Observations:  Tevon and Ian opened. they did a great job setting up. Andrea closed lobby and did a great job. Lee closed Trees and had a very strong shift. His close was very good, but still needed a few reminders, nothing major. Manager Communication : Nope is holding steady, getting close to selling out  in the 7:00 and 9:00pm screenings.  Lilya 4-Ever sold out, and brought a lovely crowd to Trees both before and after the screening. BAR Staff Observations : Gabrielle held down Lobby solo all night, without issue.  Darius and Ian were great up at Trees, with a pretty busy service bar and plenty of guests at the bar before and after the second round.  Darius stuck around through the last Nope had seating, and both Ian and Gabrielle were able to get a break in before Darius clocked out. FOH Staff Observations : Servers in Th1/2 were really on top of drink running during the busier service pushes this evening, with Kim in particular doing a great job with the majority of tray running during the 7:00pm seating. Hiring/Training : Edgar did a Manager Open training shift with Jason, and did great.  He ran Trees service bar during the busier service pushes, got some batching done while service...

Manager Communication:  Good busy day today. Nope continued to draw crowds, and Dirty Dancing was a complete hit! I Carried A Watermelon sold like hotcakes. Great Trees crowds before and after Dirty Dancing.  Customer Comments: Helped some guests with ticket issues.  BAR Staff Observations: Ashley had a great open at Trees and really got us ready for the busy day. Lee juiced some citrus for Trees and helped during the Dirty Dancing rush. Tevon and Gabrielle had great closes. Everyone worked hard on a busy day. Special Events? Dirty Dancing was a smash! Manager Communication: Pretty busy Monday with Nope doing great all around and other movies pulling their own. Trees was busy before each Nope. Good day.  BAR Staff Observations: Darius had a great Lobby day. Strong open, great throughout, and great at asking for help when needed. Lee's open at Trees wasn't great but I think he just needs more experience opening Trees and in the building in general.  Ashley was great a closing and communicating with Lee about opening and service in general.  Otherwise Lee was great with guests and on service bar and stayed until after the last Nope rush went in.  86ed / counts on items: Dona, Hibiscus, Two robbers Prep List:  I made Lemonade, firewalk, mr fusion, a whole lot of simple syrup, neon demon, strawberry lemon slushie. Manager Communication : Another very busy evening, with all floors fielding a lot of sold out, or near sold out, screenings well into the third round.  JH Customer Comments : With regards to the guest argument in the last round screening of Nope in Th3, I walked outside with the guests to make sure nothing happened on property and strongly urged both of them to go their separate ways, which they ultimately did.  JH BAR Staff Observations : I was able to get both openers, Jenna and Tevon, out of here shortly after closers were in and everyone had eaten.  Darius and Lee were great down at Lobby today.  Lee has definitely settled into service and Filmbot, and Darius is great about getting out from behind the bar, at both Trees and Lobby, and making sure that tables are getting bussed and wiped down, and that guests are settled. Manager Communication : Pretty mellow morning, and then nonstop once the second round began seating. Nope was pretty much sold out after the first screening this morning, and has been bringing a great crowd to Trees in the lead up to theaters opening. JH Very Busy all night. With a large late night crowd coming over from bric.  BAR Staff Observations : Andrea really held down some very busy seatings solo up at Trees this morning, with Tevon also great solo down at Lobby.  I had Jenna clock in at Trees, to help Andrea restock and start service for a sold out Th4 Nope before Darius arrived. Once Darius arrived, all three handled a packed bar and a sold out Th1 service really well, and I was able to swing Jenna downstairs after that.  Similarly, once Gabrielle and Ian arrived, Trees navigated what was a very busy service push at both the bar and service pass. Manager Communication: Busy busy day with Nope, and the event in th4 & Trees Lounge. Theater 1 AC problems were present but all in all it all went pretty smooth.  Supernova had a pretty good bar crowd as well.  Customer Comments: Helped some folks with ticketing concerns and AC related issues.  BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea and Ashley definitely rocked out opened and set everyone up for success.  Tevon and Darius did great with balancing the party, other guests and service. It all went pretty smoothly. Gabrielle did great holding down lobby after Chelsea left. Lobby bartenders were great greeting guests and advising them about the air conditioner. Ashley did a bunch of batching then helped during the first wave of the last round of Nope in th2 before she left.  FOH Staff Observations: James in 4/6 was a standout. often when he came to get drinks for 4/6, if they weren't quite ready, he'd grab a tray and run it to 2/1 before returning to get his tray for 4/...

Manager Communication: Pretty good evening. A couple of good pops from the theaters and a few good Trees pops, especially after Wild WIld West.  Theater 7 had a late walk up boost. I delayed routing until we could get 7 set up for the rest of the show.  BAR Staff Observations:  Darius opened Trees and Chelsea opened Lobby. When closers Ian (Edgar training) and Gabrielle who closed Trees and Lobby.  They all did a wonderful job. Darius got out around 7 after some restocking and setting Trees up for the rest of the night. Chelsea did some batching and left afterwards.  Hiring/Training: Edgar trained at Trees close with Ian and seemed to be comfortable in his surroundings.  Special Events? Manager Communication : Pretty mellow day in theaters, with Minions dominating the first two rounds, and the dinner round Thor getting to 100.  Trivia was packed tonight, but service ran very smoothly throughout. BAR Staff Observations : Ian and Tevon (along with Edgar) did a great job opening, with Ian setting the bar up for Trivia before I had arrived.  Once Jenna got in, I swung Tevon upstairs to run floor service, and Ian and Lee took care of the bar.  Edgar got out a little before nine, and Jenna had a very quiet evening before closing Lobby.  Very busy trivia night, with Ian getting out of here once we had reset the floor, and Tevon leaving shortly after, having helped Lee restock glassware, leaving Lee in great shape to close. Manager Communication : Very busy evening, with both NoBudge and The Descent selling well and bringing in great crowds to Trees, both before and after their screenings. Volo players also returned, and helped keep Trees very busy all the way until just before last call.  BAR Staff Observations : Great opens from Ashley (training Edgar on a bar shift) and Jenna, really setting both bars up for success for the evening.  I was able to swing Jenna up to Trees after NoBudge had gotten through its initial service push to help Natasha with service, while Ashley and Edgar batched and restocked. Jenna got out of here around 9:30, and Lee did a great job closing Lobby solo tonight.  As mentioned above, from 6:00 onwards, Trees was absolutely packed. Manager Communication : Steady service, with some of the smaller theaters selling out, or coming very close to it throughout the evening.  Thor has definitely mellowed out with regards to crowds, but still brings in a great pre-movie group to Trees during the afternoon and earlier evening screenings.  JH Customer Comments : Had a few customer interactions of note at both bars today. Ashley helped a couple who bought seven tickets for the 7:00pm Thor screening from Ashley around 4:30pm.  Throughout the interaction, Ashley reiterated our age policy several times with regards to children.  After the tickets had printed, they let Ashley know that they were planning to bring their two-year-old and that the child would sit on their mother's lap.  Ashley reminded them of the age policy she had just explained, and that the baby would not be allowed in the theater, and they asked to speak to a manager. Manager Communication:   Fairly laidback brunch, with Minions selling out a couple theaters throughout the day, and Thor still being marked by a fair amount of walk-in ticketing ramp ups. Patio was pretty quiet in the morning due to the rain, but pepped up around five o’ clock. JH BAR Staff Observations:   Andrea and Jenna handled the opening round well, stocking up both bars before doors opened. Once Chelsea got in, I was able to have her break Jenna (Andrea declined a break), and then had Chelsea do some juicing, citrus garnish prep, and roll ups before dinner rounds. Tevon and Andrea were great at rolling with service, and were on top of restocks.  I was able to get Andrea out of here shortly before five, and then Jenna was good to go once Gabrielle arrived and everyone had gotten family meal. Manager Communication : Pretty steady day of service, with Thor continuing to rise in ticket sales throughout service.  BAR Staff Observations : Ashley (and Lee) and Tevon had already done a great job opening by the time I arrived. Manager Communication :  Busy morning and even busier afternoon. Pretty good day. EL Another busy day at both bars, with Thor continuing to keep Trees busy all night, and a fair amount of other theaters selling out through the third and fourth rounds.  Trees cleared out around ten, and Patio was bopping up until just about ten. JH    Customer Comments :  I helped escort a sleeping drunk guest from Top Gun in theater 4. I escorted them to the lobby, tried to get a ticket number to give them a refund. They refused, Gil got the ticket information based on their seat and we gave them cash, which was then thrown at me. The guest had some rude words but didn’t return after throwing the money.  EL BAR Staff Observations:  Tevon opened Trees and Jenna opened Lobby, Ian and Natasha were great crucial mids. Manager Communication : Pretty busy night, with plenty of theaters selling out, or coming very close to it. Service was nonstop for the majority of the evening, with Trees only having to pause once during a Thor seating. Patio and Trees’ crowds were a bit more mellow than usual for a weekend night, with most guests doing one-and-dones. JH Customer Comments : Had a guest in the last round Th3 screening of Top Gun send back a Root Beer Float because he said the vanilla ice cream tasted off. Daniel realized he had rang in a Peach Float by mistake, and rang in a Root Beer Float instead.  When I went to the server station to comp the initial float, I saw the returned float and it definitely had root beer in it. I tasted the ice cream, and it was peach sorbet. As the guest had such a jarring dining experience, I comped both floats off the check and told Daniel to pass on our apologies. Manager Communication:   Busy day right from the start. Thor hit us right away, with busy Th1 & Th2 all day. The shows being an hour apart gave us strong 2 hour long drink rushes between the pre-movie bar traffic and the service bar. JM This kept going the same until the last Thor round. Very busy but smooth running Thorsday.  Customer Comments: Helped someone with Apple Pay.   A customer alerted us that someone threw up in the Women's Lobby bathroom. We got someone in there right away.  EL BAR Staff Observations:  Ian and Chelsea opened, with Ian cutting garnishes and doing some sidework to set Trees up for its busy night. Chelsea got right into busy service back to back and did a great job, calling for help where needed but mostly holding it down for the first two Thors solo. Manager Communication : Pretty easygoing evening, with ST&B and Jesse's Party at Trees bringing the most traffic to Trees.  Really great work all around the building tonight. BAR Staff Observations : Chelsea and Gabrielle did a great job opening, setting up both bars for a steady day of service.  After Chelsea got some batching done, she helped Jenna get through a busy Th3 seating of Elvis, and then was able to clock out.  Jenna held down Lobby solo the rest of the evening without issue. Between ST&B and the party at Trees, Gabrielle had a very long day today.  Both she and Ian were great at Trees, easily switching between bar and theater service, even with the extra drinks on the menu this evening.  Once ST&B did last call, she and Ian split the restock, and she was able to get out of here. Manager Communication: Slow early round but a busy mid and event late round for some of the theaters. Alongside a bumping trivia, service was busy throughout the day. No issues with drink speed. Trivia's main rush happened before Matrix and gave us a steady but not overwhelming push to Trees.  BAR Staff Observations: Great opens by Eliel and Ashley, who transitioned easily into a packed trivia and were rock stars. Gabrielle did a great job balancing training with Lee and good numbers in the lobby as well, and Natasha swiftly. Ashley did a final stock for Trees, Gabrielle saved hers to do with Lee and both bars closed stocked to the gills.  FOH Staff Observations: Hit a small speed bump when Matrix hit hard with drink running, but a handful of MOD run trays helped the servers get drinks out. Honestly, everyone was hustling so once the trays hit the station the drinks were gone, they just needed that small assist.  Hiring/Training: Lee trained behind lobby today on his seco...

Manager Communication: Pretty good steady holiday. Nothing really busy.  BAR Staff Observations: Ashley and Gabrielle opened. After Darius and Jenna arrived Ashley and Lee stocked and batched, and the openers were able to get out after everyone ate.   FOH Staff Observations: Jules did a great job communicating when they needed help in 4/6.  Hiring/Training: Lee trained with Ashley at lobby. Sick Leave/ Call outs: Kim left after feeling sick and said she had a fever.  86ed / counts on items: Lobby bar ran out of coke. Prep List: Ashley and Lee batched firewalk, lemonade and neon demon and made simple syrup. I batched an Old Fashioned Keg.  Pay Outs: $19 Coke Lost & Found?: received a card from the3 which was later retrieved, and a card from th5 I gave to Gerard. Also a very big set of keys was found in th5 and left at Lobby bar for retrieval. 

Manager Communication :  Other than Cat Video Fest it was a quiet afternoon. EL Sales definitely climbed for the third and fourth round screenings, but it was a relatively mellow evening for service overall. Manager Communication : Busy brunch, kicking off with CatVideoFest, and continuing with Minions and a very busy third round on the first floor. Really great work from everyone, with service bar being pretty relentless from open all the way through dinner. J Non-stop night to round out an extremely busy day. The midday rounds of Minions and Top Gun crushed, with strong drink rushes during every single round, but especially once we got into the dinner and late rounds with more adult movies. The schedule had lots of shorter movies on it, so we got rush after rush at both bars, but especially felt it at Trees. Drinks flew out tonight, and we had great front facing business as well!
