Manager Communication: Nope is holding steady, getting close to selling out  in the 7:00 and 9:00pm screenings.  Lilya 4-Ever sold out, and brought a lovely crowd to Trees both before and after the screening.

BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle held down Lobby solo all night, without issue.  Darius and Ian were great up at Trees, with a pretty busy service bar and plenty of guests at the bar before and after the second round.  Darius stuck around through the last Nope had seating, and both Ian and Gabrielle were able to get a break in before Darius clocked out.

FOH Staff Observations: Servers in Th1/2 were really on top of drink running during the busier service pushes this evening, with Kim in particular doing a great job with the majority of tray running during the 7:00pm seating.

Hiring/Training: Edgar did a Manager Open training shift with Jason, and did great.  He ran Trees service bar during the busier service pushes, got some batching done while service wound down, and helped me reorganize the recent deliveries in the walk in.  He is next in on Friday to do a closing bar manager shift with Nick.

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: We need to buy two new cutting boards, one for each bar.  Since we are getting our prep knives sharpened more regularly, the cutting boards are going through a bit more wear and tear.  Gabrielle noticed some black specks of plastic on some citrus garnish, and realized that it had come from the cutting board.

Additionally, I have been finding the red apple fly traps turned upside down or hidden under items at both bar prep and in the office.  Just a quick reminder that those traps only work if out in open air, and need to be thrown out if they no longer have liquid in them.

86ed / counts on items: 86'd Dona Spice Soda and Two Robbers.

Prep List: Edgar made Dirty Shirley, Lemonade, Mr. Fusion, Neon Demon, Simple Syrup, and a Strawberry Mansion keg (needs to be charged tomorrow).

Grenadine, Haywood Ranch Water,  and Pineapple Ginger Syrup should be made.

Maintenance: Dio came in and cleaned and reset both ice machines.  The ice machine at Trees took a little bit longer to get going at open, but Edgar was able to reset it again and it worked throughout the rest of the evening without issue.

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
