Manager Communication: Busy brunch, kicking off with CatVideoFest, and continuing with Minions and a very busy third round on the first floor. Really great work from everyone, with service bar being pretty relentless from open all the way through dinner. J

Non-stop night to round out an extremely busy day. The midday rounds of Minions and Top Gun crushed, with strong drink rushes during every single round, but especially once we got into the dinner and late rounds with more adult movies. The schedule had lots of shorter movies on it, so we got rush after rush at both bars, but especially felt it at Trees. Drinks flew out tonight, and we had great front facing business as well! Deftly handled by really strong teams on both floors. JM

BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea and Natasha did a great job opening up stocked and ready for the crowds. Both were great solo until mids came in, and Chelsea was able to take a break at 2:15 (Natasha declined a break).

Both Jenna and Tevon slid into service as mids, and did the first of many restocks at both bars. I was able to get a lot of batching done with Ashley shortly before six, setting up the bars with product for the rest of the evening. JH

Openers stayed on to get all PM team members fed and taken care of and then Natasha was out at 5 pm, Chelsea a little closer to 6 pm. Mids on both floors covered multiple stocks after the bulk of the late round business was done and then clocked out, neither needing breaks outside of a few short spurts of coverage. Darius needed a little assistance on figuring out his close and how best to stock, but once he gets notes he takes them fully.

Ian batched a bit at the end of the night to round out product for the rest of the weekend. JM

FOH Staff Observations: Servers are getting better about pacing themselves, perhaps there was more support tonight as well but we barely had to pause or slow drink service tonight. JM

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Not to sound like a broken record, but could we get more grey rollies? There is still a need for them in the building, and Trees lost two during the first round flips. We were eventually able to get another, but there was a backup of dirty glass racks because there was nowhere to place them.

Additionally, since we also have more glasses in circulation during service, the stacks of glassware at the elevator bay are dangerously high in the mornings, making them difficult to unload and maneuver.

I got stuck on the Trees elevator this morning, before open, with my left arm pinned between the door and the racks.  While exiting the elevator, the weight of the racks caused the wheels to get stuck in the doorway divot for too long and the elevator door automatically began closing, pinning me until I could wrench the wheels out of the groove.  More rollies would definitely spread the load and make glassware running a little less hazardous.  JH

86ed / counts on items: Casamara Alta 86'd

Prep List: Ashley made a Fire Walk With Me and a Strawberry Mansion keg. I made Arbol Tequila, Lemonade, Simple Syrup, and Strawberry Lemon Slushie. JH

Pay Outs: DJ payouts at Trees

Maintenance: There is still a lot of condensation on the bottom of the low boys, both inside and outside. Dio will be here Tuesday to check it out. JM
