Saturday 7/24 Nick


Manager Communication: Pretty mellow morning, and then nonstop once the second round began seating. Nope was pretty much sold out after the first screening this morning, and has been bringing a great crowd to Trees in the lead up to theaters opening. JH

Very Busy all night. With a large late night crowd coming over from bric. 

BAR Staff Observations: Andrea really held down some very busy seatings solo up at Trees this morning, with Tevon also great solo down at Lobby. 

I had Jenna clock in at Trees, to help Andrea restock and start service for a sold out Th4 Nope before Darius arrived. Once Darius arrived, all three handled a packed bar and a sold out Th1 service really well, and I was able to swing Jenna downstairs after that. 

Similarly, once Gabrielle and Ian arrived, Trees navigated what was a very busy service push at both the bar and service pass. While glassware and stock ran low, Gabrielle and Ian were really great at communicating needs before they became a problem, and service never had to pause. Really great work all around, and Andrea was a massive help sticking around through the 6:00pm Th1 service push before heading out. JH

FOH Staff Observations: Amanda and Kaya were really on top of supporting theaters and running drinks at Trees. James also offered help to Th1, drink running during lulls in service in Th2. JH

86ed / counts on items: 86’d Ruby Hibiscus & Two Robbers. 

Prep List: We will need simple syrup made first thing. We are out of Sugar, but we can borrow some from kitchen tomorrow. 

An Espresso Martini and Strawberry Mansion keg need to be made. JH

Pay Outs: $150.00 (DJ & Eliel) JH

Maintenance: The ice machine at Trees has been shutting itself off overnight, and during service, the past three days. The machine has been empty at open the last two days, which meant the opening bartender at Trees needing to get all of their ice from Lobby. It’s service has been sporadic during service. JH

JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
