Manager Communication: Busy morning and even busier afternoon. Pretty good day. EL
Jenna and Tevon were able to get out of here right after closers arrived. Ian went up to Trees a couple of times to assist with service during some busier Thor pushes, but spent the majority of the evening with Darius at Lobby Bar. Ian was able to get some batching done before he left, and stayed a little later to walk Darius through cleaning the froze machines, as Darius had yet to clean them solo. Other than that, Darius had a relatively simple close downstairs.
Another busy day at both bars, with Thor continuing to keep Trees busy all night, and a fair amount of other theaters selling out through the third and fourth rounds. Trees cleared out around ten, and Patio was bopping up until just about ten. JH
Customer Comments: I helped escort a sleeping drunk guest from Top Gun in theater 4. I escorted them to the lobby, tried to get a ticket number to give them a refund. They refused, Gil got the ticket information based on their seat and we gave them cash, which was then thrown at me. The guest had some rude words but didn’t return after throwing the money. EL
BAR Staff Observations: Tevon opened Trees and Jenna opened Lobby, Ian and Natasha were great crucial mids. It was busy but all under control. EL

Ashley and Natasha were great upstairs, again with consistent communication with regards to service, restocks, and glassware. Natasha left Ashley in a really great place to close before getting out of here. The rest of the night was pretty quiet, and Ashley had an easy close after a busy evening. JH
FOH Staff Observations: Really great work from servers during service today, efficiently communicating with bar when needed. However I did field several complaints from servers who were feeling incredibly burnt out after the long weekend, especially with a couple working four rounds today, sometimes solo. JH
Special Events? The party at Trees during and after the screening was great. Chenelle handled it all greatly. EL

Strawberry-Infused Gin needs to be strained tomorrow. Bloody Mary Concentrate, Pineapple Ginger Syrup, and Simple Syrup should be made tomorrow.
The Viking Space Magic batch that Eliel made needs Limoncello added. Additionally, that batch used the last of the mead, so we will need to order more. JH

Additionally, this wasn’t caught until after eleven, but it looks as though the Trees ice machine stopped making ice during the day. I reset it and it began working again. I advised Ashley to keep an eye on it while she closed. If it stalls again overnight, Trees can pull ice from Lobby Bar in the meantime.
I believe the machine is getting serviced Tuesday morning, so hopefully that will sort it out if it is a larger problem. JH
