Manager Communication: Trees dishpit overflowed when the sprayer lost the end part. Definitely a chaotic moment as it isn't particularly clear where all the water is coming from in the moment when that piece falls off. I called Chef Matty to come up and help me figure it out, and I recalled this other time I was overwhelmed with water all over the floor.  And before I fully declared a pipe broken in the wall I remembered the other time, we put the piece back on and everything was fine. Vlad was super helpful as well and we got it all back on track and tidy.-LB Very short on silverware, no  roll ups at Trees.-LB Handhand at Trees was red at the end of the night. Manager Communication:  YCSE everything continues to sell out every theater it’s in, and the drink special seemed fairly popular during the first two rounds.   Most folks at Trees during the first half of the day were just waiting for their YCSE screening to start, so bar wasn’t too packed. JH BAR Staff Observations:  We had a team full of aces in today, but man oh man can Tevon shift gears without any hesitation. Once we realized Duan was not coming in, Tevon slid right into Trees service and communicated with me (as expo) throughout a very busy service push. Gold stars for everyone, but two for Tevon. JH   FOH Staff Observations:  During the busiest parts of the service push at Trees I had to actively instruct servers to either tray up completed tickets or run a partial tray. I’m sure having us write on the tickets crowds the pass a bit more than before, but servers should not be milling about chatting by the ice machine when drink tickets are nonstop. Sever...

Manager Communication: Opened up with Rebecca. Conrad came by to snap photos of the new specials. Printed out new build sheets - they're taped up on the whiteboard for Friday when the specials go live. - IP Got the T4T cocktails all set up in store and pours for the event - chilling in the walk-in in a buss tub ready to be deployed for service, along with the wines and beer. - IP Busy night all around, but I did definitely notice that servers in Th1/2 are getting much better about pacing their drinks, or at least sending them from the theater during their initial greet.  Even during very busy moments, the service pass never really had to pause to wait for drinks to be run. Manager Communication:  I put in a service ticket with Coke and put my contact, explained what we need done for the ice well in the lobby.-LB Machines cleaned, GF Soda keg made and charged, deliveries put away, kegs and walk-in organized, batches for T4T made. I also cleaned and organized the prep area as it was looking a little scuzzy. Busy and productive day. - IP HVAC guy came because of an alarm that was going off on first floor mezz, it is above Trees behind the bar so he has disengaged that section, it is totally fine, and he will come in when we are not open. Matthew knows.-LB Busy busy Trees this evening, and plenty of sold out rushes (especially on the first floor) throughout the night.  Everyone was able to keep ahead of the rush, and we never had to pause or adjust service throughout the night. Manager Communication:  I have placed a 12 quart cambro with a lid on top of the ice machine all the way to the right. It has to-go containers in it. It is labeled to remind folks that they are for guests only and that the lid must stay on. -LB I counted the batches of special drinks and went to edit the spreadsheets but it wouldn't let me edit them. I have the numbers and will make sure I can access and update them tomorrow - but for reference, the remaining liters of each drink are -  By Hook/Crook = 6.75L remaining Beautiful Thing = 5L remaining Emerging Artist = 2L remaining Screaming Queens = 1L remaining And we sold a count of 19 Quince and Juniper Sodas. - IP Customer Comments: Okay so lots of issues today with QR code tabs. Manager Communication: Gus stopped by to go over Newfest protocol with Ian and I. Ordering needs for the week, feeling totally ready. Vibes are good over here.-LB Newfest is bringing the heat! Screenings and general gathering in Trees lounge kept the place hopping all night. Nathan Fielder doc fully sold out all day on top of it - we are cooking with gas. Tomorrow night is gonna go great - wonderful prep by Lauren and Tevon today. Lydia, Greg and Patrick had a full Trees lounge practically all night. Manager Communication: Easy Open. Wyatt and I took care of things. It is cold at Trees now that the wind is picking up. Might need to switch over to heat possibly, but I know the weather is wonky with the sun and people etc. I put away all the mugs, now I will put them back. I found one box, I think I put away two, but will try to locate tomorrow if anyone remembers June because I do not.-LB The grate under the ice machine at trees collapsed into the drain. I noticed it when finishing up. I pulled it out to put it back but the drain is gross.
