Manager Communication: Trees dishpit overflowed when the sprayer lost the end part. Definitely a chaotic moment as it isn't particularly clear where all the water is coming from in the moment when that piece falls off. I called Chef Matty to come up and help me figure it out, and I recalled this other time I was overwhelmed with water all over the floor.  And before I fully declared a pipe broken in the wall I remembered the other time, we put the piece back on and everything was fine. Vlad was super helpful as well and we got it all back on track and tidy.-LB

Very short on silverware, no  roll ups at Trees.-LB
Handhand at Trees was red at the end of the night. I brought it back to charge. Unsure if it got charged yesterday. Just trying to gauge how long they will go before actually dying.-LB

I painted the ground floor paddles after last call and repainted theater 2 (4 paddles)-LB

BAR Staff Observations: These folks absolutely crank it out, round after round. Support each other. They can all rotate through every position. It is a fantastic team and we are immensely lucky.-LB
Jeshua held down a busy lobby tonight with complete control. Love having him down there. -LB

FOH Staff Observations: Again, firing on all cylinders. These rounds are crushing. Like full throttle. I am really proud to see the pacing of the service from these rounds. The way the servers are handling themselves now. Much calmer and more present, less chaotic energy abound.  I think they are doing very well for these long rushes and long films.-LB

Danny picked up Duan's Tuesday trivia shift.  Still in communication with other bartenders to see if anyone can cover his mid shift tomorrow. JH *Danny will check on covering 11/3 trivia for Knibbs depending on what the doctor says, but he may be able to bow out of practice early.-LB
We got it figured out. Made some deals. Tevon is working tomorrow. Got Jeshua on Tuesday November 3rd to cover for Trivia since Natasha doesn't think she will be able to stand after the marathon.-LB

Special Events?
NewFest brunch event went well, they filled up the space and enjoyed all the sips and snacks.  Matthew + Natasha killed it like the dream team they are, and having Sarah as the assigned runner for these types of events is fantastic.  All three are really great about being self directed and knowing when to reach out to management for assistance. JH

After the event, I helped the event coordinator load out all of the unused, unopened bottles of wine and spirits.  They are planning to return Monday to pick up the remaining beers in the walk in.  I told her to reach out to Desmond to coordinate and he will keep us in the loop. JH

We need to make and charge kegs of Autumn G&T + GF Soda + Jimmy the Gent.  G&T + Jimmy should be good until Monday prep shift, but we may run through GF Soda before then.  My plan is to knock out a big batch of GF Oleo before I get out of here this evening, so we can get the keg charging tomorrow evening. JH

Matthew knocked over a case of Foro in the liquor room, breaking four bottles.  I rang them up under spillage.  JH
I bought runner Eric a Gansett using Goodwill. He was really helpful earlier in the week with something. 

Over/Short on Banks: Banks at trees are on point. I entered $122 instead of 127 because the quarters were under the pile of money, out of sight, out of mind. But it worked out perfectly.-LB  

Pay Outs: 
$40.00 (dry cleaning) I did not see the correct pay out option (Events?) on Toast yet, so I put it under Repairs hoping that we can update that on the backend. JH

I broke out our last box of pints and pilsner glasses so I ordered more of both. We don't have any rocks glasses so I ordered more. We are light on coupe back ups but I put a lot into service on Tuesday ahead of the Newfest party so I don't want to buy a full box until I emtpy that one. -LB

Manager Communication: Solid Open Lots of forward motion toward menu change and such. Looking good.  If it is at ALL possible to have it say THEATER 1 and THEATER 2 at the top of the ticket the way it does on the kitchen tickets that would be extremely helpful. This is a service issue at TREES for sure during busy times. It will lead to mistakes.  There are also lots of handhelds still printing multiples ie. 2 lemonades vs lemonade lemonade. It seems across the building and across menu. So I think a fine eye to just make sure that is all worked out or things may get missed. The non-consistent nature of it, will in fact lead to mistakes.  The handhelds at Trees are also difficult to use without any color differentiation in the BAR COCKTAILS CATEGORY. If you could take the notes from the people doing the serving it would be super helpful for us. We are a little older and we are using tiny little machines that slow us down. Manager Communication: Saturday mornings. Classic. Rebecca & I rocked it out -G It got really cold tonight in the mid-40s. I turned on the entry way heaters because Christine asked me to since Jeshua was cold. The exit doors were fine, did not smell, but the entryway doors were very rank so I turned them off. Probably a vacuum would be enough. But smelled like a hairdryer full of dead pine needles. I broke out the space heaters for lobby bar.-LB The spotify iPad at Trees is not connected to the internet now, if that could be addressed. Only downloaded playlists are working-LB Customer Comments: Had a bday party for a 1 year old. Matthew handled like a champ. There were a lot of them. Filled the place up early- was great. Manager Communication: Battening down the hatches for the Nathan Fielder Doc. Not ideal to be down a bartender, but if you're going to have three bodies at Trees, the ones you want are Tevon, Matthew and Natasha. Weather is also gross today, so we can expect the smaller theaters to grow. Gonna be a busy one. - IP Holy cow the drink rushes for back to back sold out 1/2 showings really just go on and on and on... The 1/2 rush for the dinner round lasted 90+ minutes - non-stop tickets the whole time. Bar team was INCREDIBLE. Ariel jumped right into service and helped knockout the last half hour or so of the rush - absolutely clutch. - IP We was nice and poppin' homies. The You Can See Everything doc has people drinking nonstop... which is fresh.
