Manager Communication:
Opened up with Rebecca. Conrad came by to snap photos of the new specials. Printed out new build sheets - they're taped up on the whiteboard for Friday when the specials go live. - IP

Got the T4T cocktails all set up in store and pours for the event - chilling in the walk-in in a buss tub ready to be deployed for service, along with the wines and beer. - IP

Busy night all around, but I did definitely notice that servers in Th1/2 are getting much better about pacing their drinks, or at least sending them from the theater during their initial greet.  Even during very busy moments, the service pass never really had to pause to wait for drinks to be run. JH

BAR Staff Observations:
Gab opening Lobby and Sam opening Trees. - IP

Sam got the first cut, and Gabrielle worked Trees with Matthew + Natasha until a little after nine.  Matthew + Natasha made quick work of a very busy bar crowd, and I hopped into the service well for about fifteen minutes when the last round of Th1 was in its initial service push.  Jeshua held down lobby solo without issue, and both bars were closed without issue. JH

Special Events?
T4T Mixer. We have a 50 count for the four special cocktails. I have prepped all the store and pours and backup 2 and 4qts in a buss tub in the walk-in, ready to go. - IP

T4T was very busy, especially once Th1 let out as Th2 was hitting their initial service rush, but the event went very smoothly.  Big shout out to Ian for having us so prepped and ready before I even clocked in! JH

24 Quince + Juniper Sodas were sold at T4t. JH

86ed / counts on items:
Just have a few sips of Suck It Nature Left, ahead of new specials tomorrow.  Best Banana Daiquiri will be making an appearance as a Mystery Cocktail.  NewFest batches are consolidated and chilling in the walk in. JH

Prep List:
Made a GF Soda keg when I got in to make sure we have a backup - that stuff goes fast.

Manager Communication: Solid Open Lots of forward motion toward menu change and such. Looking good.  If it is at ALL possible to have it say THEATER 1 and THEATER 2 at the top of the ticket the way it does on the kitchen tickets that would be extremely helpful. This is a service issue at TREES for sure during busy times. It will lead to mistakes.  There are also lots of handhelds still printing multiples ie. 2 lemonades vs lemonade lemonade. It seems across the building and across menu. So I think a fine eye to just make sure that is all worked out or things may get missed. The non-consistent nature of it, will in fact lead to mistakes.  The handhelds at Trees are also difficult to use without any color differentiation in the BAR COCKTAILS CATEGORY. If you could take the notes from the people doing the serving it would be super helpful for us. We are a little older and we are using tiny little machines that slow us down. Manager Communication: Saturday mornings. Classic. Rebecca & I rocked it out -G It got really cold tonight in the mid-40s. I turned on the entry way heaters because Christine asked me to since Jeshua was cold. The exit doors were fine, did not smell, but the entryway doors were very rank so I turned them off. Probably a vacuum would be enough. But smelled like a hairdryer full of dead pine needles. I broke out the space heaters for lobby bar.-LB The spotify iPad at Trees is not connected to the internet now, if that could be addressed. Only downloaded playlists are working-LB Customer Comments: Had a bday party for a 1 year old. Matthew handled like a champ. There were a lot of them. Filled the place up early- was great. Friday 10.16.2026 Ian & AB2 / NPP Bar Blog

Manager Communication: Battening down the hatches for the Nathan Fielder Doc. Not ideal to be down a bartender, but if you're going to have three bodies at Trees, the ones you want are Tevon, Matthew and Natasha. Weather is also gross today, so we can expect the smaller theaters to grow. Gonna be a busy one. - IP Holy cow the drink rushes for back to back sold out 1/2 showings really just go on and on and on... The 1/2 rush for the dinner round lasted 90+ minutes - non-stop tickets the whole time. Bar team was INCREDIBLE. Ariel jumped right into service and helped knockout the last half hour or so of the rush - absolutely clutch. - IP We was nice and poppin' homies. The You Can See Everything doc has people drinking nonstop... which is fresh.
