Manager Communication:
Well we came, we cleaned, we conquered. Not much more to say.-LB

More details in the FOH Blog, but the internet went out in the building justttttt as the USA-Bosnia was wrapping up. James + Becca were on top of the issue once it was noticed and were super communicative with all departments. James was on the phone with tech help and they did all the trouble shooting that they could. Ultimately, we were unable to get the internet back up and running for the rest of service, so we made some adjustments. 

For bar, Lobby was just about to close, so no sales were impacted. I was up at Trees and explained the situation to guests (who were in a good mood and gearing up to head out), and we will be able to add their tips to their tabs when we are ultimately able to close them out.  We could not open any of the cash drawers, so I had bartenders gather up their cash tips and mark which cc tips had and had not been entered. 

I’m going to stick around and help James with the closing cash. JH

Customer Comments: 
Most guests were as gracious as could be hoped for when we were navigating the internet outage. At Trees, since we pre-auth cards, I made an announcement explaining the situation to guests and offered to write out their tab amount by hand and they could then add the tip amount they wanted to. Very little pushback and people really seemed to take it in stride (thank you Team USA for keeping the vibes at Trees positive). JH  

BAR Staff Observations: 
I kept Danny around to get Gabrielle through the first half of the USA game, as Trees definitely filled up with a lot of first time fliers.  I got him out of here a little after halftime, about twenty or minutes before the internet went out. 

Both Gabrielle and Jeshua were great about rolling with the punches as we tried to figure out the internet issue, and were really on top of explaining the situation to guests. Unfortunately, we were unable to take any orders once the internet went down, so we had to shut Trees down by 10:30pm. JH

Hiring/Training: 
Sam had a really great second day, earning a round of ringing endorsements from almost all of the other bartenders.  He seems to be fitting in well, and is taking in any and all notes.  He is next in tomorrow when he will be closing Trees with Matthew, and I will be the closing bar manager. JH

Kicked a GF Soda + Princess Peach keg tonight. Both kegs are washed and chilling in the walk-in. JH

Maintenance: 
The courageous cleaning crew were able to tackle most of their projects today, with the fridge in the Th4/6 server station being the last spot that needs to be cleaned. JH

Manager Communication : Similar to yesterday, second round Top Gun and Everything Everywhere screenings sold really well.  Had a couple more people on Patio today, even with the rainy weather, and Trivia brought a sizeable crowd to Trees. BAR Staff Observations : Eliel held down Lobby solo all day, and did a fantastic job, which was a huge help as Trees was taken over by Trivia this evening.  Ian and Eliel both did a great job stocking and opening each bar, which set both floors up for success during service.   Tevon and Andrea (completing her last day of training!), together with Ian, navigated a very busy dinner round and Trivia crowd.  Tevon took the floor, and Ian and Andrea moved from service to guest-facing, no issue.  Andrea took the lead on second round service bar. and did two restocks, so she is now well acquainted with the liquor room and walk in. Manager Communication:  Holiday level business keeps coming, we had a very busy day overall at the bar. Movies kept service bar going strong through 9 pm and then the bar stayed crowded with a group of people watching the Golden Globes. No issues with getting overly busy, however, as the push to service bar died right as the awards show started and a crowd grew at the bar. We were able to get all duties done tonight; batching, cleaning projects and strong service. The 4 pm rush was very heavy in particular, with Theatres 1, 4 and 6 very tightly seated but we never ran overlong on timing. Customer Comments:  We had a guest come to the bar around 4:30 to complain about some late food, which was dropped by a manager. Julie had a flag that she forget to ring until right before check drop and the guests complained about the wait, but were happy with our resolution of some passes and goodwill discounts on the check. Saturday 11.22.25 Wicked Day 3 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Th1/2/3 were pretty much sold out for the day, with Wicked doing really well and Bugonia / Frankenstein taking up the smaller theaters.  Definitely a lot more kids coming through for Wicked this time, just as a heads up.  Sentimental Value is also selling out the smaller theaters, too.  Trees also had a group of runners (probably between 10-12 folks) hang out for drinks and brunch post-run.  A couple of more groups came through throughout the day and kept Trees happily busy during the early rounds. JH If we can change the temp on Trees lounge to 70 for this busy stretch, it gets really hot back there when they don't stop moving. -LB Wowie. everyone busting their butts today and I blame L. Frank Baum.  If we didn't switch to the plastic soda cups, we would have drowned today. Made it optimal. I think we need more empty grey racks, they were thin in circulation for the last round.
