Manager Communication:
It has been quite a while that we have not had bar keys for the Lost and found closet and bar storage closet: in there we have back up soda boxes which are used during service, we also sell merch and the lobby bar needs ticket paper for film bot. There are many reasons that access is requested to this closet during the course of business that requires a key. While I was writing this I had to let Volo into the bar storage closet. I understand copying these keys is difficult, but I can't imagine impossible. While trying to get admin work done during the course of the week it is difficult and getting pulled away for calls that would be solved by the key, is frustrating.-LB
BAR Staff Observations:
Whole team was on it today. Got Tevon out a little before the Graffiti event started and swung Patrick upstairs. Trees got worked pretty hard - the doc and The Invite had heavy drink rushes and there were a lot of people just hanging out waiting for the DJ set to start. I had to jump in to help with the service push at one point, but Greg and Patrick had it on lock. Lydia held it down in the lobby and I got them out of here once the party settled down a little bit. - IP
FOH Staff Observations:
Caleb and Lanie did a great job downstairs at the end of the night tonight. - IP
Special Events?
Graffiti Doc - this one brought a large and thirsty crowd to Trees before, during and after the screening. - IP

I concur with Lauren. While it is frustrating that the bar keys have been MIA for a long time now, and it would be less work to assign blame and hope that they will mysteriously reappear, that doesn't seem to be in the cards. The standard set of lobby key and trees key was S.O.P. for years, and it really would make a big difference in ease and speed of service if we finally replaced them. When we do, we will make it crystal clear that if the keys are again lost or misplaced (regardless of whomever misplaced/lost them), there will be serious consequences. - IP
Burned the ice in both machines, which are both set to off. Should be ready to go for Dio tomorrow morning. - IP
Customer Comments:
Our Graffiti doc crowd was all too eager to whip out their paint pens and stickers at their after party at Trees, so keep an eye out for any tags around the building that our ace porter team might need to take a look at (Security Mike already found and cleaned off two tags in the Trees bathroom). - IP

I soaked the lines for the OF keg in hot water for an hour. I also emptied and deep cleaned the problematic OF keg before I refilled it with the batch. I imagine it will work, I did not test it. If it doesn't work, we can pour the batch into the other keg and proceed from there, but I hypothesize that these two things fixed the problem.-LB
Trees urinals went haywire again. The kid's urinal seemed to be the main culprit this evening. Markenson handled the mess and blocked off the kid's urinal. There have been no issues since - however, I think it is a matter of volume - the sold out Graffiti Doc screening let out to an already quite crowded Trees lounge, and when it is a non-stop deluge (pardon the expression) of guests, I guess it can't handle all the flushing? Don't know - but still obv an issue. - IP
