Manager Communication:
Very slow day for theater service, so I was able to tackle a bunch. Machines cleaned first thing, orders (Southern and US Foods) put away, built the O-Ren Keg - it is in the walk-in ready to go. I also played some keg jenga and the walk-in is looking good. Got us up on anything that wasn't in surplus in the walk-in (prep info below). - IP

Matt had a great idea to do a 50/50 shot of the Firewalk and the 50yr Storm as a special for the Knicks games - just a shot glass with a dollop of each frozen. There is a button on bar speed labeled "Knicks Shot". I made little graphic cards to be put at Trees for the games. - IP 

BAR Staff Observations:
Matt and Jeshua opened so everything was set and ready and I was able to get a bunch done. - IP

We sailed right through the dinner round, and Jeshua was able to get out of here once Tevon arrived.  Also, shoutout to Jeshua for giving the backbar at Trees a deep clean during a pretty mellow first round.   

Another full Trees Lounge evening, so having two bartenders was perfect.  Matthew held down lobby solo all shift, and was able to get out of here once the first floor was rerouted.  Gabrielle +Tevon were able to stay ahead of service and made quick work of the close once the game was over.  They all made it look easy. JH

Special Events?
NBA Finals Game 4. - IP

Trees began filling up around 7:30pm~ and was full by the time the game started.  Decent sized crowd, but enough tables and bar space for everyone.  Atrocious first half, and then the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history.  Knicks in 5. 

As I mentioned, Trees was full, but folks were pretty quick about closing their tabs once the game was over.  This may be different for Game 5, as it will be a weekend night and it has the potential to be the final Finals game.  JH

Prep List:
I made the O-Ren Keg for the new menu switch (also a traditional store and pour batch to bridge the gap), a batch of FWWM and Twitterpated so that the walk-in has backup of everything we've got. We can shore everything up tomorrow/Friday (when we'll need to make the new stuff too). - IP

I made six quarts of grapefruit oleo, which will need to be strained tomorrow evening. JH

Maintenance:
The floor drain under the triple sink in the lobby bar needs to be snaked/de-gunked by Vlad. Probably could give a little love to all of the floor drains - it's been a minute. - IP

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication :  Pretty good steady morning which ramped up when the spider hit the big ones. EL Second half of the day was similarly busy, with first floor having a slower last round while Spider-Man kept the upper floors busy through close. JH Customer Comments :  A lot of frustrated customers trying to buy what looked like available seats for Spider-man. I think this will be the last day with this problem. I explained to everyone I encountered what was happening and they seemed to understand by the end of the interactions. EL BAR Staff Observation s:  Natasha was about 15 minutes late. Once she got in she recovered the lost time quickly. Then the morning was pretty easy.  Ryan was early!  I pushed Tevon back to 4pm since Isi wasn't coming.
