It got really cold tonight in the mid-40s. I turned on the entry way heaters because Christine asked me to since Jeshua was cold. The exit doors were fine, did not smell, but the entryway doors were very rank so I turned them off. Probably a vacuum would be enough. But smelled like a hairdryer full of dead pine needles. I broke out the space heaters for lobby bar.-LB
The spotify iPad at Trees is not connected to the internet now, if that could be addressed. Only downloaded playlists are working-LB

Customer Comments: Had a bday party for a 1 year old. Matthew handled like a champ. There were a lot of them. Filled the place up early- was great.

Order #5qgm7kk This ticket says employee pass, that is because they booked under a BOGO Code and wanted to move seats.



BAR Staff Observations: Greg & Matthew rocked.
Natasha clocked in 10 mins late. Her explanation was that she got here, said hello to people, went and got a Celsius and then came up to the bar. Didn't seem phased or concerned about being late at all. -GS

FOH Staff Observations: Reining the runner team in while Jeremy is gone. It was brought to my attention that Leah put a dirty rack on the clean stack at Trees, she was corrected in the moment. If other bar managers can just keep an eye and give a reminder if they see her being lost with that stuff. 
Observed Mo holding a tray of food while finishing a conversation, told him to run it, the literal nature of the job is getting food to the table.-LB

Hiring/Training:

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Duan's foot is an issue, he called out for tomorrow. To solve the problem of 5 bartenders tomorrow I opted to cut Tevon today and move him to tomorrow so we have 6 & 6. Should work out
This was a good plan. Team made it work really well today.-LB

Manager Communication: Solid Open Lots of forward motion toward menu change and such. Looking good.  If it is at ALL possible to have it say THEATER 1 and THEATER 2 at the top of the ticket the way it does on the kitchen tickets that would be extremely helpful. This is a service issue at TREES for sure during busy times. It will lead to mistakes.  There are also lots of handhelds still printing multiples ie. 2 lemonades vs lemonade lemonade. It seems across the building and across menu. So I think a fine eye to just make sure that is all worked out or things may get missed. The non-consistent nature of it, will in fact lead to mistakes.  The handhelds at Trees are also difficult to use without any color differentiation in the BAR COCKTAILS CATEGORY. If you could take the notes from the people doing the serving it would be super helpful for us. We are a little older and we are using tiny little machines that slow us down. Manager Communication:  Trivia put in some great work unloading old menu product thanks to Ian's renaming 50 Year Storm-Bodhi's Revenge and Oren-Codename Cottonmouth. -LB A GOOD IDEA WAS HAD> For the AMITY LIGHT LAGER, WE WILL TURN THE COLLARS UPSIDE DOWN AND WRITE WITH A SHARPIE "AMITY" This will distinguish the kegs apart. The collar is the little paper wrapper that goes around the keg opening. Lots of dumb vocab in our line of work. Beats tape and is very clear. -LB BAR Staff Observations:  Matthew Soler back from Europe, talked over the new menu change and Toast. He is a go-getter as always ahead of the game with good questions. -LB   Danny floated up to Trees to help with restocks and the dinner round, and was able to get out of here once the runners had gotten through their first wave of arrivals.  Matthew hung around until Attack the Block was settled, and both Gabrielle + Jeshua closed each bar without issue. Saturday 11.22.25 Wicked Day 3 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Th1/2/3 were pretty much sold out for the day, with Wicked doing really well and Bugonia / Frankenstein taking up the smaller theaters.  Definitely a lot more kids coming through for Wicked this time, just as a heads up.  Sentimental Value is also selling out the smaller theaters, too.  Trees also had a group of runners (probably between 10-12 folks) hang out for drinks and brunch post-run.  A couple of more groups came through throughout the day and kept Trees happily busy during the early rounds. JH If we can change the temp on Trees lounge to 70 for this busy stretch, it gets really hot back there when they don't stop moving. -LB Wowie. everyone busting their butts today and I blame L. Frank Baum.  If we didn't switch to the plastic soda cups, we would have drowned today. Made it optimal. I think we need more empty grey racks, they were thin in circulation for the last round.
