Manager Communication: 

Wyatt and I opened the building. Nothing major.

Busy night at Trees and in the theaters, but nothing ever went sideways.  Trees was pretty full up until last call, and was very busy between 7:30pm-10:00pm, which was great for a weeknight. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 

Everyone really did a great job today.  Greg has gotten really great working down in lobby solo, and has also gotten much better about asking for a break when he needs one.  He held it down all night and needed very little assistance, which was very helpful as Trees was so busy.

Gabrielle set Trees up for success, and was a superstar and stuck around later than we had anticipated when Jeshua had to leave early due to vision issues (see Sick Leave/Call Outs).  Even with the issue, Jeshua got Trees through a huge restock before he left, and Gabrielle and Natasha sailed through the next few hours.  Gabrielle got out of here shortly after ten, and Natasha handily finsished out Trees and theater service.  She really is a machine when closing Trees, even after the busiest nights.  She did a small restock for Trees before she left, so we could make a more accurate prep list based on what is in the walk-in tomorrow morning.  Overall, we are in really good shape for tomorrow and tonight's team could not have worked better together. JH 

FOH Staff Observations:

Big big shoutout to both Evan + Vlad.  Right as Trees and the service pass were at their busiest, Evan saw me restocking water cups and asked if there was anything he could grab for bar.  We were all set, but I really appreciated his initiative.  Additionally, around the same time, Vlad was the MVP of washing, stacking, and stocking glassware at Trees for a solid 20-30 minutes.  He stepped in when he saw it was busy, and got us through a mountain of glassracks.  Much appreciated on both accounts! JH

Sick Leave/ Call outs: 

Right after the second round Th1 Supergirl initial service push died down, Jeshua began to suffer some vision issues.  As his vision was impaired, I got him out of here early, and hung on to Gabrielle a bit longer than initially expected.  He is hopeful that the issue will clear up by the morning, as the impairment was not as bad as it has gotten in the past.  I told him to stay in touch with us and that we will reach out tomorrow to see if he is able to work his closing shift. JH

Special Events?

PPWSL came through this evening, which is always welcome, and they stuck around until just about last call.  Had a fair amount of couples/groups sticking around Trees to watch the World Cup, particularly the 10:00pm USA v Turkey game.  And Miss Malice always brings a pre-show crowd to the bar. JH
