Manager Communication:
Busy lil Sunday. Other than some emergency Iced Tea, everything was well set for this morning. Wyatt trained Malcolm on the Sunday open. I am going to change the water filters on Wednesday of this week when I come in for maintenance (unless someone else wants to get to it Mon/Tues morning). The coffee machines have been consistently acting funky (easy to fix - just a quick reset does the trick), and obv the code 3 on the ice machine - I think both issues will be alleviated with this simple refresh. - IP

My emotionally scarred neighbor from Obsession who walked out and forgot to pay came back and he filled out his form to pay. James walked me through the walkout process since I haven't done it a ton. His name is Will Borowski who walked out on Obsession 6/2.-LB

We were trying to reroute the theater 7 printer back for the last Scary Movie of the night and we couldn't even get the 3/5 printer to work. Then the Film bot printer wasn't working. The marquee also went off. I went to look at the circuit breaker. A bunch of circuits on the lobby breaker were soft enough to reset and everything was fine after that. The Theater 7 printer was fine, see note below as to why. The ice machine was struggling in lobby I manually reset it, hopefully it was just upset due to whatever electrical situation went on.-LB

I found a viable insulated coffee carafe that is the right height for our machines, it is only 2 liters (not terrible to keep coffee fresh and for summer). I ordered one to get a feel for it. It costs 6 dollars more than the rickety airpot lids and I am sure these won't break as frequently. I also got two more salt rimmers since the margaritas are so popular it would be helpful to rim outside of the service pass.-LB

Customer Comments: An older woman who didn't speak loudly or seem super adept with English came to buy a ticket for the Devil Wears Prada 2. I asked if she was a Senior, she didn't reply so I charged her $18. I walked away and she told Darius she needed a senior price. I came right back to give her the extra $3 dollars and she then said she wanted to cancel.  She had taken her ID out to show me and I said I believed her, no problem. I don't know if something was lost in translation, so I gave her a refund. It was odd. I feel badly because it is strange to change your mind so quickly and I really don't know what would have upset her about the interaction.-LB

BAR Staff Observations: Danny got a long day today because the 5-6pm lobby rush was busy for Darius along with the printer struggles. So Danny hung around to help him through the business and lobby action. Much appreciated, I told him I really wanted to get him out of here, but a team player is Danny.-LB

FOH Staff Observations:
Christine spilled a tray of water cups directly into the theater 7 printer. I turned it off, dried it out, cleaned it, plugged it back it seems to be totally defunct. The lights turn on, but the paper doesn't get auto-fed into the slot, nor does the button to feed blank paper through work. Rebecca came down and rerouted the theater 7 ipads to print out on the 3/5 side. The bar team knows to look for the tickets there. Hopefully when the printer has a chance to fully air-dry overnight it will be back in action tomorrow, but if not, we'll have to keep printing on the other side until we fix it or get another one. - IP

Grace was supporting theater 7 after routing bringing trays down for Katherine. I have seen a real supportive shift from her.-LB

Maintenance: I opened one of the Swamp coolers for the liquor room so it can be a little cooler in there for batching. I am freezing the ice packs and left it set up for Tevon so he won't be in there in the total hot zone.-LB
