Manager Communication:
Wyatt and I opened up the building, got prepared for the flood of all-ages crowds. - IP
Theaters were very busy but Trees was quiet all day. Hopefully we can get the openers out of here nice and early. - IP
Trees picked up in the afternoon as it does on Sunday. Nice vibes.-LB
One of the Trees napkin/straw holders broke. If anyone knows where it was sourced could not find replacement on Webstaurant. Will take one from Lobby bar for now. I brought down one of the Grey goose napkin holders from Trees.-LB
I made a little frame with the special for the Gansett and the world cup so we can sell them.-LB
Rebecca, the batch list for Tevon is on the white board. -LB

Matt and Tevon opened up and we got Danny coming in before things start popping off. - IP
The Sunday crew is really gelling. Love having Darius on the ground floor. Duan had really settled in to knowing Nitehawk's groove. Danny feels like he has been here for years. Summer time feels really fun and I like it.-LB
Darius cut a bunch of fruit for the openers since he knows they have some big restocks after the batch shift. He is really nice to have here on Sundays. -LB


FOH Staff Observations:
Grace and Garrity taking charge today. Saw some real leadership. Garrity saw 4/6 tray sitting with more drinks being made and offered to support and carry them up.  Really great teamwork. Grace was on it with Lanie right behind. 
Rae was super wonderful today when dropping food on the mezz, she bussed plates from old tables.
Vlad also was a super helpful FOH porter today when Baldor came super late in the day. He helped get all of our stuff out of the kitchen's way and upstairs for me while I was expo-ing at Trees. -LB

We have a very sizable list going into tomorrow's prep shift. I will do my best to start the supporting elements. I made Iced Tea, I will make simple syrup, but unsurprisingly our lemonade coffers were decimated by the Toy Story fans. Well done team. -LB

*Unfortunately our team broke open one of the plastic Saratoga cases in desperation so I will only be able to return two of them. 
Ordered the store n pour lids since webstaurant sent the wrong thing, will be returning the other things. And two cases of rocks glasses. -LB

Maintenance: I grabbed some white vinegar from the kitchen and dumped it in the swamp cooler with super hot water. I will let it sit while we run the last big rush.  I ran more water through, scrubbed the top where it was gnarly and it smells totally clean now. So I think this is a good protocol for cleaning them. 
 I also put some bleach down our bar prep drain cause I think some of the stink was coming from there. -LB
I ran the cleaning tablets through the Trees dishpit-LB

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication :  Pretty good steady morning which ramped up when the spider hit the big ones. EL Second half of the day was similarly busy, with first floor having a slower last round while Spider-Man kept the upper floors busy through close. JH Customer Comments :  A lot of frustrated customers trying to buy what looked like available seats for Spider-man. I think this will be the last day with this problem. I explained to everyone I encountered what was happening and they seemed to understand by the end of the interactions. EL BAR Staff Observation s:  Natasha was about 15 minutes late. Once she got in she recovered the lost time quickly. Then the morning was pretty easy.  Ryan was early!  I pushed Tevon back to 4pm since Isi wasn't coming.
