Opened 'er up with Wyatt. Kudos to last night's closing team - it was WILD in Trees last night and it looks great in here! - IP

Busy Spielberg shows but otherwise very chill. World Cup got going as the day went on. Team was fantastic, and our new bartender Andrea is AWESOME. - IP

I already spoke to Gil about this, but I mentioned how it might be smart with the tables being out at Trees to have a QR code menu/ instructions on ordering at the bar. I have had some customers ask. This would be primarily of facilitation on the weekends. The tables are a definitely a plus and I have seen Conrad mention QR code menus for LoRes, so maybe some brainstorming regarding this.-LB

Love that the popcorn neon is back, I put the nice little USB lamp in bar storage.-LB
And we have the creepy candelabra from Death Becomes Her in the Lobby, it looks great.-LB

Customer Comments: The tables at Trees seem to be a truly excellent fit. Might move them around tonight when closing since things got a little cramped but it is definitely driving business.-LB

BAR Staff Observations:
Matt training Andrea at Trees and Danny in lobby. Patrick requested a slightly later in-time due to last night's long hours, and with an extra pair of hands on deck (in addition to two consummate pros like Matt and Danny) it was no issue to oblige.-IP
This actually worked out well since we were busy at Trees fairly late, I planned on cutting both DK and PK around the same time but held onto PK longer because business was poppin.-LB

FOH Staff Observations: I forgot to mention it last night because I was very tired, but Henry and Eric (youngest and newest) were phenomenal at running food to Trees last night. I owe them both tokens for doing such an excellent job. They were precise and really diligent about picking up numbers. (James put post-its on tokens for them in the office, well not Henry since I have learned he quit.) -LB


Hiring/Training:
Andrea training Trees brunch open with Matthew. She's in very good hands. - IP
Andrea got her server trail done with Sabrina - who is nothing if not extraordinarily thorough, so I'm sure she got a very good look at how things go once the drinks leave the pass. - IP
Andrea handled a sold out theater one rush in the cockpit and took to it like a duck to water. Absolute machine - very excited to have another pro on board! - IP
Jeremy, Potter might need a brief recap on Trees dishpit protocol. I went over it with him a few times, but he kept putting double stacks on the machine.. then dirty stacks on the clean side. Then I explained again, got a second dolly so the dirty rack wasn't too high and there were still double stacked dirty racks on the machine. So I don't know how to explain it. -LB 

Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Pushed Patrick's in-time back to 2p, as he got walloped by last night's close. Unless we go absolutely bananas for the World Cup, I don't think those two hours are going to necessitate a noon mid shift (but if I'm wrong, that's great and I'm happy to jump behind the bar!) - IP

Special Events?
Sundays on Fire. World Cup matches all day. - IP

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication :  Pretty good steady morning which ramped up when the spider hit the big ones. EL Second half of the day was similarly busy, with first floor having a slower last round while Spider-Man kept the upper floors busy through close. JH Customer Comments :  A lot of frustrated customers trying to buy what looked like available seats for Spider-man. I think this will be the last day with this problem. I explained to everyone I encountered what was happening and they seemed to understand by the end of the interactions. EL BAR Staff Observation s:  Natasha was about 15 minutes late. Once she got in she recovered the lost time quickly. Then the morning was pretty easy.  Ryan was early!  I pushed Tevon back to 4pm since Isi wasn't coming.
