Got machines cleaned, Soda delivery put away, and "Alma's Kiss" for the Singani event tonight batched all before the bartenders even got in (flex). Matthew and Tevon opening bars; Full managerial squad; deliveries en route; NITEHAWK: ENGAGE. - IP

Always great to have thorough openers Matthew and Tevon on days with big events. Really sets the tone in a great way. - IP

Bar made quick work of the Singani happy hour, screening, + after party.  Tevon was able to get out of here once guests had cleared out of Trees from the happy hour, and Matthew stuck around to reset the floor and Trees, getting out once the Th1 service push had settled.  Jeshua handled lobby solo like a champ, and Gabrielle was fantastic about letting Danny take the lead when it came to closing.  Unfortunately, I was unable to catch her for training notes in the binder before she got out of here, but I will have her add her notes when she is in tomorrow. JH

Hiring/Training:
Danny - Day 5 - Trees Close w/ Gab. - IP

Danny was great behind the bar today, and took the lead on closing and doing the checkout report.  He has gotten a few Trees events under his belt during his training, which is always helpful for both the trainee and the team. JH

Special Events?
So long Singani series!  The event and screening tonight went great, and the Singani folk were very happy about how the series had turned out.  JH

86ed / counts on items: 
86'd Color of Pomegranates.  I made a new keg, it just needs to be charged before service (it is currently 86'd on MB).  The empty keg is still hooked up to the line, and each are labeled. JH

Prep List:
Made both versions of "Alma's Kiss" for the Singani event tonight (one diluted for theater service and one not diluted, to be stirred for happy hour), more Iced tea, more Firewalk, and the backup princess peach keg (to be removed from charge at 9:20p tonight!) - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Received: US Foods (Soda/Lime Juice) - waiting on several boxes of Diet Coke - US Foods is out of stock until Friday's delivery. We should be fine until then. - IP
Received Winebow (6 cs Singani) - IP
Received Southern 
Received Skurnik 
Received Empire - they took back the two cases of Combier Watermelon, and they were out of the two cases of Carpano Dry we ordered. Delivery guy said they'd have it back and on a delivery by Friday at the earliest - if not, Monday. - IP

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication :  Pretty good steady morning which ramped up when the spider hit the big ones. EL Second half of the day was similarly busy, with first floor having a slower last round while Spider-Man kept the upper floors busy through close. JH Customer Comments :  A lot of frustrated customers trying to buy what looked like available seats for Spider-man. I think this will be the last day with this problem. I explained to everyone I encountered what was happening and they seemed to understand by the end of the interactions. EL BAR Staff Observation s:  Natasha was about 15 minutes late. Once she got in she recovered the lost time quickly. Then the morning was pretty easy.  Ryan was early!  I pushed Tevon back to 4pm since Isi wasn't coming. Ryan held down lobby.  I had to help with ticketing a couple of times but he was solid. Gabrielle was a great mid.
