Manager Communication:
Busy morning. Rebecca got everything rolling for the private events and special screenings. Greg and Nat opening. Duan's shift moved to Trees close with Tevon. Just one more Trivia close and he's ready to go live!
Fire alarm City. A drink rack somehow slipped while being reset at the pass and managed to pull the fire alarm next to the coffee station. I didn't see it happen, but Greg said that's what caused the alarm. After the Fire department came and checked everything out, we got back into service. Servers and bar staff handled everything super professionally and the guests seemed more relieved than anything that it was just a false alarm.. - IP
Nice busy Sunday energy. Team seems to really be working well together. Got Jeshua out of here around 8pm since it slowed down and we have extra hands.-LB
This office gets hotter and hotter.-LB

Customer Comments:
Guest Gold Star goes to the parents of the birthday party in theater 7 this morning. Love an attentive adult contingent of a party. - IP

People were really chill about the fire alarm situation - pretty much everyone just went back to their theaters with no issue. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Aside from the accidental fire alarm, the team crushed. Nat held down the sold out theaters and events on the first floor, and Greg and I handled the busy Sundays on Fire and other 1/2/4/6 rushes. Jeshua got in at the perfect time to jump right in and help with the mid-day round rushes. - IP

FOH Staff Observations: I observed Ben on his phone in the middle of the kitchen when on expo tonight around 10pm. I was going to ask chef Andre if staff could order food. Ben clearly knew I saw him as I directly spoke to him. He continued to use his phone. I went back to Theater 7 to tell OB they could order. I came back through the kitchen, Ben was still on his phone. I spoke to Ben about it later when he was off the clock and he was communicating to someone because he was working 15 minutes past his out time. I said I understood the reason he was on his phone, but it is still an unsafe place to do so. I also noted this in 7shifts.-LB
And wouldn't you know that Ben forgot to pay his tab for his food, it is on the wall of shame.-LB

Hiring/Training:
Duan's Day 4 training - Trees Close w Tevon. Knibbs is pretty much ready to go - good to have him see a thorough Trees close with Tevon tonight. He will have gotten a chance to see every type of shift we have, and given how solid he already is, should be smooth sailing from here on out. - IP
Duan is really getting everything. Obviously so much to cover here. Really cool to see Danny and him working together early on. I cut Danny early since it was slow after Danny gave Darius a break.-LB
Duan did a restock by himself, I came back to give guidance on containers and make sure he knew to give the runners a holler in that back hallway.  He is pretty good to go with light supervision. A few more hours with our POS and filmbot and I think he will be fine to fly solo.-LB

Sick Leave/ Call outs:

Special Events?
Kids BDay screening of Zootopia - the Mom/Host was an absolute champ, stationed at the entrance directing traffic. Bless her - because OMG I helped flip the theater afterwards and those children were RAMBUNCTIOUS. Popcorn and Mike & ike's everywhere. Whole team jumped in to help flip - great work all around. - IP
Secret Life of Pets screening was well sold, as was Sundays on Fire. Greg and Nat handled rushes easily. - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:

86ed / counts on items:

Prep List: I have a large batch list to knock out tomorrow. Excited to see that all the new offerings are really popping off.-LB

R&D comp checks:  I forgot to ring in some R&D I did, will do tomorrow.-LB

Over/Short on Banks:

Pay Outs:

Lost & Found?: Sam Hiremath samhiremath@gmail.com Green retainer case for aligners Hoppers 2:15pm Sunday Theater 4.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Received Baldor.
I ordered new cutting boards for lobby and trees. -LB
Maintenance:   I don't know if there is a way for Palco to allow air from the outside to come through the vent in the back, but any circulation for the liquor room and DW2 would be major. Clearly things are broken, but if there is a secondary setting we could inquire about that doesn't involve compressors.  I tried opening the roof door to get fresh air in last night and it didn't help much. It is just pretty stagnant.-LB
I have been told that the walkie charger at Trees is dead. It might be the walkie, I feel like I just replaced the walkie charger right before my PTO. I can investigated tomorrow.-LB

Mobilebytes Issues: emailed chefs and Gil about the side order veggie patty costing $9, seems a lot higher than it used to be. -LB

Filmbot Issues:
