Friday 4.3.26 Menu Change Day



Manager Communication: 
Solid. Down to the wire- Big shoutout to Emma and Jess for helping to stuff menus. I think this was the best menu change we have done in regards to preparedness. And there is room for improvement. 

Came in early to batch and let me just say, I have been here for all but maybe two menu changes (wow, that's insane...) and this was one of, if not the smoothest menu change I have been a part of. The long runway allowed so much space to lock everything in, that by today everything was set and ready. Massively grateful to have such an outstanding team that allows me to be able to go home to help out my Mom (she's doing great btw - her new dental work is going to be so awesome for her) without worrying that anything is going to miss a beat. Thanks, guys. - IP

BAR Staff Observations: 
Charlie was having a day. I took him outside and basically was like "you can either engage for the next week or you can leave, your call" I think he took it well cause he snapped into shape.

Confirmed for the rest of the shift. He was on top of making sure Lobby and Trees were supported and backed up with glassware and product. Matt and Nat took charge of the bar (obviously) and Gab and Dwight (honorary bar team member) maintained the traffic in the lobby easily. Nice to be bustling again! Feels like the new menu has some real winners. - IP

Menu Change

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
There seemed to be some confusion regarding the Orange Wine. It is in the POS, and on the menus - but it was not stocked at either bar, so we had a moment of confusion. Just want to touch on this so everyone is on the same page. - IP

Safety Glasses are arriving tomorrow.

Prep List: 
TONS of stuff for the weekend.

Made a ton (of course, the FWWM, Lemonade and FroCo will just continue to have to be replenished) - so for tomorrow the only pressing items I couldn't get to are:
- Iced Tea (x2)
- Twitterpated
- Color of Pom Keg (not crucial, just looking forward)

Otherwise you are definitely set for the morning. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
lots. 
Baldor coming tomorrow and US foods. 

Maintenance: 
We had a leak in a keg they coudn't fix. Will look into it further.

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Manager Communication :  Pretty good steady morning which ramped up when the spider hit the big ones. EL Second half of the day was similarly busy, with first floor having a slower last round while Spider-Man kept the upper floors busy through close. JH Customer Comments :  A lot of frustrated customers trying to buy what looked like available seats for Spider-man. I think this will be the last day with this problem. I explained to everyone I encountered what was happening and they seemed to understand by the end of the interactions. EL BAR Staff Observation s:  Natasha was about 15 minutes late. Once she got in she recovered the lost time quickly. Then the morning was pretty easy.  Ryan was early!  I pushed Tevon back to 4pm since Isi wasn't coming.
