Tuesday 10/13 Gus & Ian

Manager Communication:
Rocky open. I was the opening bartender in the lobby till about 15 mins before doors.

Gus and I went through pars and prep for the Newfest cocktails - I'll be managing the first big party so I will take point on batching and setting up for the event when we get all the product delivered.

Rocky open made way for a smooth close - team was great across the board. Pre-Code was very busy and everyone was up to the challenge. - IP

Customer Comments:
The guy who does his podcast in Trees is awesome. -GS

BAR Staff Observations:
Tevon rules. Jeshua gets the game ball for agreeing to come in out of the blue. -GS

Yeah, Jeshua is the freaking best. Came in to open lobby and ended his shift crushing the Pre-Code after-party. He went to go see Resident Evil and I comped his food as a massive thank you. Tevon and Duan also kicked major butt for the party. Greg had a relatively chill evening in lobby and closed smoothly. - IP

Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Sam & Natasha

Special Events?
Pre Code Parade.

Rian Johnson brought out a lot of people. Big afterparty for the DJ - was clutch to be able to have three bartenders at Trees for that push - also a big note that the movie starting at 7 and ending before 9 made this all SO much easier for the bar staff. Thank you for the earlier scheduling! - IP

86ed / counts on items:
Likely going to 86 Schedule A by end of night - if not early tomorrow, unless we decide to make more. - IP

Prep List:
OF
Autum
2 HTTYD

Over/Short on Banks:
Trees bank was $1.50 over. - IP

Pay Outs:
$200- DJ and Precode Hosts ($100 and $50 each, respectively)

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:

Tomorrow: Empire, Southern, Union

Friday 9/25/26 Gus/Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: Solid Open Lots of forward motion toward menu change and such. Looking good.  If it is at ALL possible to have it say THEATER 1 and THEATER 2 at the top of the ticket the way it does on the kitchen tickets that would be extremely helpful. This is a service issue at TREES for sure during busy times. It will lead to mistakes.  There are also lots of handhelds still printing multiples ie. 2 lemonades vs lemonade lemonade. It seems across the building and across menu. So I think a fine eye to just make sure that is all worked out or things may get missed. The non-consistent nature of it, will in fact lead to mistakes.  The handhelds at Trees are also difficult to use without any color differentiation in the BAR COCKTAILS CATEGORY. If you could take the notes from the people doing the serving it would be super helpful for us. We are a little older and we are using tiny little machines that slow us down. If we could sit down and make some choices Gil to j...

Wednesday 10.07.26 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Trivia put in some great work unloading old menu product thanks to Ian's renaming 50 Year Storm-Bodhi's Revenge and Oren-Codename Cottonmouth. -LB A GOOD IDEA WAS HAD> For the AMITY LIGHT LAGER, WE WILL TURN THE COLLARS UPSIDE DOWN AND WRITE WITH A SHARPIE "AMITY" This will distinguish the kegs apart. The collar is the little paper wrapper that goes around the keg opening. Lots of dumb vocab in our line of work. Beats tape and is very clear. -LB BAR Staff Observations:  Matthew Soler back from Europe, talked over the new menu change and Toast. He is a go-getter as always ahead of the game with good questions. -LB   Danny floated up to Trees to help with restocks and the dinner round, and was able to get out of here once the runners had gotten through their first wave of arrivals.  Matthew hung around until Attack the Block was settled, and both Gabrielle + Jeshua closed each bar without issue. JH Special Events?  Runners started t...

Saturday 11.22.25 Wicked Day 3 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Th1/2/3 were pretty much sold out for the day, with Wicked doing really well and Bugonia / Frankenstein taking up the smaller theaters.  Definitely a lot more kids coming through for Wicked this time, just as a heads up.  Sentimental Value is also selling out the smaller theaters, too.  Trees also had a group of runners (probably between 10-12 folks) hang out for drinks and brunch post-run.  A couple of more groups came through throughout the day and kept Trees happily busy during the early rounds. JH If we can change the temp on Trees lounge to 70 for this busy stretch, it gets really hot back there when they don't stop moving. -LB Wowie. everyone busting their butts today and I blame L. Frank Baum.  If we didn't switch to the plastic soda cups, we would have drowned today. Made it optimal. I think we need more empty grey racks, they were thin in circulation for the last round. I don't know which ones to get. If someone can weig...
